This is a very good documentary on Cuba, Cuban Culture, Cuban History and Cuba's economy. This is why I love UA-cam. So many interesting documentaries on this website. Thanks a lot.
Beautiful . Story unfolds like a rhapsody. Salutations to the spirited people of Cuba. Very good effort by the Docu team to showcase Cuba to world audience. Thanks ........ from India
As a Puerto Rican I love this documentary and a lesson to all Latin Americans and Hispanics here in the United States seeing how two culture converted and accepted into one as well as keeping there own. My Great Grandparents came from Andalusia and just found out how La Rumba was born with the mix of African and Andaluz rhythm. AMAZING STORY. CUBA 🇨🇺 a must see country...🤠
Not only strong but also beautiful inside as well as outside. You're given so much energy, it's unimaginable how you can stay so positive, so passionate for life and love while going through so much suffering...what can I say...I sincerely wish you and your great people all the best on your thorny path to the renaissance of your nation. Stay strong and fight until final victory is achieved.
Viva la (rum) revolucion. A luta continua. Cuba's involvement in the Angolan wars against South Africa 75-91 was considerable. The battle of Cuito Cuanavale 1988, an epic. The struggle against capitalist (or other) imperialism is to be applauded.
Excellent documentary on Cuba. Its so hard to find information on Cuba in media that is not biased one way or another. This one is by far the best of them all.

You will be disappointed. They show the nice parts in documentaries. You will be shocked at the poverty and run down buildings. Also the lack of technology is scary. There is also alot of shadiness cuz people hustling to get by. The food is really bad too in most places. I went there. I was happy to experience it but even more happy to go home at the end. If you go you will only enjoy it if you go with a tour group and they only take you to nice areas. Real Cuba is kinda depressing lol.
No matter how hard "they" try, the spirit and soul of Africa always comes through and gives any nation, culture and passion. Imagine, for a minute, America without Africans, it would be as passion-less and cold like a lot of European countries.
For your information in Europe exists Africa as well and Problaby more original then in the Americas... Information is a strong factor in order to culture. By the way I born in Angola and grew up in Europe.
You guys Said What Cuba really is, what the cuban is. Thank you for taking me there guys. You said What we the cubans feel about everything with this masterpiece.
This is an amazing documentary. We really appreciate the way Cuba is presented and the admirable people that is worth it to look up. If something is admirable of the Cuban revolution, is the level of education they achieved, the full accessibility to a health system that really works and the dignity in which they face adversity against the USA economic blockade.
When America will start to think with the heart(AS CUBA DOES) not with the suppressing rest of the world in the name of its needs -IT WILL BE GREAT AGAIN! Awesome video!
Awesome documentary ... hoping this pandemic won’t be catastrophic on the Cuban people and economy, but faith that they will rise once more ...can’t wait to go back!

Very well put together, cutter, camera, coloring. I know it's cliché to go for the dirty, grungy look but it fits so well for the humit, hot "South America" area.
Very nice documentary, however there should have been interpreting of the locals language so that the viewer is aware of what they are voicing, I am glad I speak the Spanish language to understand the full documentary without missing the profound view of the local people, otherwise its almost merely a summary piece.
I swear, I can only imagine how big Cuba can grow once the US embargo and sanctions ends. This island economy is growing Drastically. They are literally making strides with limited resources and handcuffs on them. As president, I would end the embargo and sanctions day 1
It's the theme song from the film. We wrote it in London and then got all the different Cuban artists we met over there to record their own version of it.
Well, to every one saying such beautiful things about the sistem. Its not what we saw on July 11 , right?.We saw a very oppressed population , fighting for freedon.Screaming for freedom.PATRIA Y VIDA.Freedom for Cuba.
It was a SMALL portion of Cubans overall who rioted, in the midst of the worst crisis of the pandemic with nothing to do during power blackouts and during the worst of medicine shortages. Many Cubans who did participate in the violence were manipulated, and we personally know of many who received messages from outside Cuba to be paid in USD to provoke, vandalize and even fabricate events for USD. Luckily, the majority of Cubans don’t support or want anything to do with the nonsense and interference that happened on 11J, and want to continue building socialism and cooperating with other countries, and of course, an end to US sanctions.

The cuban mambises were actually winning the war of independence even before American intervention when the USS Maine exploded, the mambises already had full control on the Cuban country side mountains and eastern cities and were winning against the forces of the Spanish in western Cuba.

It's the theme song from the film. We wrote it in London and then got all the different Cuban artists we met over there to record their own version of it.
Wishing that africa-americans would follow this example from african-cubans instead of crime and drugs ....
Very nice...note error on min 49: "sipping on presidentes"....(its a Dominican beer, not Cuban).
