    Soy francesa, mi pareja es cubana, cada año descubro un poco más de este país, es cierto que la vida es muy complicada para los cubanos por eso sigo viniendo cada vez con más cosas que ofrecer. la gente me tocó muy en el corazón, no voy a lugares turísticos, aunque para los cubanos es difícil, sigo siendo admirado y respetuoso con ellos porque te reciben como nadie te recibirá en otros lugares. Cuba es verdaderamente un país aparte. para mí la visita y la inmersión nunca terminarán, también estoy preparando mi otro viaje para el mes de agosto, para mis amigos cubanos, mi familia cubana... Los amo desde el fondo de mi corazón

      And there's a few families in the project buildings in the ghetto that are nice and welcoming. But that doesn't mean that the entire environment there is nice and welcoming. It's always black folks that try to convince others that "it's not bad", giving us their personal experiences that we cannot fact check, and making excuses for these individuals situations.

      The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
      Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
      And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
      And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
      And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
      And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
      And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
      And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
      And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
      And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
      And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
      And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
      And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
      And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
      And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
      And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
      So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
      Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
      Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
      But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
      And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
      Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
      Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
      Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
      And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
      (Gospel of Matthew - Chapter 1)

    I lived in Havana when I was a kid --- 7 and 8 years old. That was in 1956-57. My (Canadian) dad worked for an American tire company. We lived in a penthouse on Paseo. I went to an American school a few blocks away. We spent the first few weeks in the Hotel Nacional. It was the arrival of Fidel that prompted the company to send us to another country: Belgium. Very different. I have fond memories of Cuba. I now live in Australia.

      ALESSANDRO -- The very same images you can find in ANY city of the "first world", if you care to look. Perhaps not as many scenes, but certainly as poor and distressing. Vancouver is a beautiful, active. wealthy city, and yet you find people living in tents on top of concrete sidewalks right downtown streets. So these images of Cuba show unfortunately a wider spread of the same situation happening in the world. And yet Canada is not BLOCKED economically by the US as Cuba has been for 62 years.

      FYI, the actual reason Cuba has old cars (and old everything) is because they've been under a US trade embargo since the 60s. The statement in the video that Castro banned imports is wrong and most likely an intentional lie, since this is basic knowledge to anyone who's informed on the subject.

Esas escenas descaradamente preparadas de venta de comidas abundantes en las calles, no existen. Lo que existen son puestos de ventas oficiciales con los estantes vacios y lo poco que se vende en las calles son productos de mala calidad a precios incomprables por el cubano de a pie. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
      Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
      And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
      And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
      And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
      And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

      And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
      And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
      And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
      And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
      And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

      And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

    Ich war vor 7 Jahren da und habe zum Glück mit Freunden auch das private Cuba sehen können. Den Menschen geht es heute nicht so gut. Cuba ist eigentlich ein wunderschönes Land und könnte mehr daraus machen. Die Häuser in Havanna zerfallen und vieles mehr. Von den alten Autos war ich auch begeistert und öfter mitgefahren. Die Cubaner haben viel Talent und Begabung aus nichts was zu machen. Ist sehr interessant das Land zu besuchen.

      There used to be a yard, near my home in the southwest. With a lot of mid fifties to mid sixties sedans. Would have been awesome if somehow they could have been “saved” and transported to Cuba. Logistics- that’s the huge problem in selling online.

      @@uphigh2727 well, although he alludes to the repressiveness of life in Cuba he greatly minimizes just how bad it really is. Seeing the crumbling infrastructure and poverty in the video really is just the beginning. One good example is the doctors. He writes in his video that Cuba has many well trained doctors! This is part of a common myth regarding Cuba’s healthcare system. The reality is that those doctors don’t have any medical supplies or medicine to treat even the most basic conditions for the citizens of Cuba. You know the most common medicine doctors give in Cuba? Sugar! It’s the only widely available thing (since Cuba produces a lot of sugar cane) so it’s prescribed by doctors as a cure-all there since they don’t have access to anything else. This is to say nothing of needing surgery. If you need surgery you have to find a way to buy everything from sutures to dressings and antibiotics on the black market and take it with you to the “hospital” (which can barely be considered a hospital) otherwise you can’t get surgery. Cuban’s can barely eat every day. They have to constantly find ways to get by and survive.

      The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
      Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
      And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
      And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
      And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
      And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
      And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
      And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
      And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
      And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
      And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
      And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
      And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
      And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
      And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

    My grandfather was from Cuba. Him and my father didn’t have the best relationship and I only met him a few times as a baby and once at 5 years old. He recently passed away in Cuba from Colon cancer a year ago. I’m hoping to be able to visit Cuba one day and lay some flowers at his grave.

      Главное чтобы в эту страну не вмешался Байден,а также американское правительство! И ведь выбрали для показа район базара.Так ведь видны строительные леса,потихоньку все строится. Почему бы не показать какие красивые центральные,да и не только,улицы Гаваны? Пусть покажет улицы Нью-Орка,где полно пьяных,всяких гомиков оплеванных и обкуренных,валяющихся на улицах,куда даже полицейские боятся ходить.
