Alejandro Murguía - Poet

The Authors Road is proud to present our interview with Alejandro Murguía, San Francisco's sixth poet laureate and our 35th writer interview. Alejandro is a professor at San Francisco State University, and a founder of the Mission Cultural Center. We met with him in Alley Cat Books, a vibrant and busy store in the heart of the Mission District. During this interview he talks about his upbringing, love of reading, his literary influences, and his vision of a writer's life and duty.
