DAVID QUAMMEN

Late in 2012, we (www.authorsroad...) had the good fortune to visit and interview one of our favorite science writers, David Quammen. HIs story about getting started as a writer, his remarkable early supporters (Robert Penn Warren and William F. Buckley), and his life pursuing the art of writing, beginning with fiction and growing into creative non-fiction was astounding, and as enjoyable and instructive as his essays, books and journalism. Of particular interest to us was that at the end of this wonderful interview he gives one of the best definitions of creative non-fiction writing we've heard.
