FINALLY! going into my sub righ now! We need more of this exploratory videos about SW, would save tons of time for people that can't dedicate that much time.
You’d have to figure out when it would fully flood and fill with water and put warning systems in place with pumps to counteract it like an auto bilge.
Great clip! Question for you. I was not able to find where you tested this. Why do you put the gas relief valve at the output of a pump instead of input? Logically, it would make more sense to filter straight at the input to avoid jamming the pump?
I think it doesn't need to flood when door is opened. When that happens ship becomes a donut shaped boat. Water level inside would equal to water level outside, therefore correct behavior if i didn't mistake the water level. Ship sits quite high right?
i have purchased the game post update but i have never been able to use the steam engines, the steam pressure just does not go above 2.5 (i feel like it has been broken for about half a year now given the time people stopped using then). seeing as you are more experienced with the game would u check that out for me?
Boiler pressure doesn't matter anymore. Place a pressure sensor on your steam pipe and use that to measure the amount of steam you have. You can have up to 60psi.
Providing the ship has enough buoyancy the water isn't going to rush in when the roof/door is open to the atmosphere. The only way the water should rise up is when the ship sits lower in the water or when you create a vacuum which will suck the water in. Water doesn't rise, the only way that water will enter the ship is if your ship sinks. There's not enough blocks for the water to get on top of to create downward force dragging the ship under.
There is certainly some things broken right now (the fact it is not filling when open to atmosphere), but other than that the behavior makes logical sense for the most part
@@454ss_gaming yes it makes sense in this instance. But I bet it is possible to make an upside-down moonpool in the current state of the game, since currently compressed gasses almost completely prevent any kind of flooding
@@454ss_gamingTerrRawrSaur shows that unfilled door frames act like invisible walls for pressure. I think you should try adding a door to your moon pool and opening it for a test.
@@HendrikDannys I did at the beginning before adding my airlock - it does not allow pressure through so it does not flood up :D You will see in my video tomorrow :)
I have an idea. What if you make it so you can only have one door at a time. Also could you put controls in the bridge so you can steer the ships and control the pressure.

So cool to see you get awesome moon pools working! 😊
:D RIGHT! I am so excited!

Correct, it wouldn't flood to the top, but would equalize with the outside water level :)
I wonder if hovercraft will be viable in the next update

They are working these days, though the devs have removed some features…

when will the moonpool oil cleaner be posted
Unfortunately it takes zero effort to make a moonpool in the current state of the game. Compressed gasses are completely broken

This is the first time I have been early to one of your videos
Hope you enjoyed!

if u suck all the air out will the water rise all the way up?
i like you work but pls finish your oil cleaner🥺
It is in the final stages :)
has the boat been published yet🚤
Not the moonpool version!
when will the moonpool version be published
First!
