For people that just discovered gacha and loot boxes and skin market, and surprised. But honestly, this one is pretty tame compared to others I’ve seen and tried. Many people seem shocked by this system, but in Southeast Asia, China, and Korea, this approach is very common. As someone from Asia, I’m well aware of how these systems work. It’s a free-to-play game, so obviously, they need a way to make money. For those complaining, here’s some context: the developers of this game also worked on CoDM (Call of Duty Mobile), where they successfully used similar tactics to generate revenue. This is how free-to-play games survive. If you refuse to accept this reality, the game might die following feedback like yours. I’ve seen many free-to-play games fail because of three main reasons: 1. Being too generous. 2. Failing to generate enough profit to sustain development. 3. Overly listening to player feedback without balancing it with profitability. Remember, this is a free-to-play game. They have to find a way to make money. It’s surprising that many people outside Asia aren’t familiar with this kind of system, but it’s a standard approach for these games to remain viable.
@@King5464True, I’ve worked at multiple companies that listened too much to user feedback. You know what happened? They ended up getting screwed over. Customers would constantly complain and demand more without realizing that their suggestions weren’t always good ideas. Eventually, it’s sad to say, but those companies went bankrupt because of this. I think the best approach to handling feedback is to always filter and review it carefully. Analyze every suggestion to determine whether it’s a good or bad idea, weighing the downsides and upsides. This is especially important for live-service games like this, where constant evaluation and adaptation are needed to stay competitive and sustainable.
A comment full of common sense. Besides, I think that it is not “the players” that they should not listen to but rather “the noisy players on social networks” and the influencers. I am sure that the results of their polls have nothing to do with what people say on the networks. It's like the debate on SBMM, all the UA-camrs are complaining but it's an absolute certainty that it's extremely positive for the vast majority of players. Same for the "operators", everyone said "operators sucks, they're going to flop like 2042"... except that the operators of 2042 are walking trash, while the Delta Force operators are ultra badass bangers. In short, Delta Force must hold the line and put the ambient noise in the trash, the game attendance results prove that they were right across the board, 100% of their choices so far are genius, let them continue :)
I am not much of a skin guy either, so if a player wants to open their wallet for this that is their choice. It is frustrating as someone else mentioned, the gold doesn’t render at a distance so it is a black shadow running around. I am sure this has a big advantage in shadowy areas.
Our argument is that they could just charge $20-$30 with a store bundle. It doesn't matter that its free to play, they shouldn't have a gacha system in the 1st place. Just because they need to make money doesn't make this this any less of a scam, its just gambling with a different name attached to it. What you're actually saying is that in order for Delta Force to make money they have to force their players to gamble for a skin that that they set the probability of getting. That's a scam. It's scummy and shouldn't be a thing.
Kernel level anti-cheat that does barely anything in the case of Delta Force. Can't even tell you how many times I got beamed across a map and smoke by an SMG or watched as a single dude wiped an entire capture point by jumping out and back into cover, landing nothing but headshots on everyone. The fact you can completely remove recoil from some weapons while still keeping their high TTK is bad enough, but the cheaters that plague this game despite them using a kernel level anticheat is on completely another level of terrible. You're basically giving them full access to your entire PC on a level you as its user don't even have and you get nothing in return.
new operator might be the nail in the coffin for me. with the cheating, network and netcode issues (in oce at least), performance issues and annoying "hero abilities" i dont know if i can do it anymore
@EndersFPS any news from the devs working on a fix for the beaming issue in game? As you suggested this game has no spread so you can just full auto enemies down at range which is really frustrating when you're on the receiving end.
If the leaks about this new operator are true, his grappling hook is more akin to Roadhog from OW and not 2042, that and apparently HackClaw’s ultimate skin is going to be cat-themed 😂
I dropped 50 bucks hoping to get this and that was my hard stop. Honestly pretty upset that they went this route. I've decided i'm not spending a single dollar more on this game.
@kafirr the problem was that it wasn't exactly clear how the skin research worked. The lack of transparency in how getting the skin works got not only myself but also others. Your analogy on the casino is flawed. At the casino, you're gambling with the trade of putting up money in exchange for not just gaining additional money but also for the entertainment of playing the game. In DF, I'm putting up money for the hope of a cosmetic, but there is no entertainment value for me. Much like going to a casino, I can decide how much money I'm comfortable losing before I walk away from the table. In the case of Subrosa, I decided that 50 dollars was more than enough for what I consider to be a skin that should be 10 bucks and an additional 10 for the other items in the research.
@@TheSkoonk02 Indeed, I agree that the way the gacha works is not clear enough, it's a problem, but I don't know if it's a real desire to scam on their part since it's presented like all the other ticket-based skin lotteries in the game (except that the others are tickets won in-game). I hope they will talk and resolve this problem. I misunderstood your situation, sry.
@kafirr and I never said they intentionally were trying to obfuscate what they're doing. Just that I hit my limit at 50 dollars and that the value isn't there for any further spending. It's a stark contrast from the battle pass which is quite affordable and contains a ton of solid skins
The problem is coins are twice as expensive as the entire FPS community has come to see as a standard with CoD and BF. 2400 coins for $20 USD in an arcade shooter (not talking CS or Valorant). I'd spend a few hundred if the prices were the same but being double the cost, I'll just pay for the battle pass. I know matter of factly I'm not the only person with this mindset either.
100000% agree, already spent 15 USD behind it and I am so heart broken. I already bought 100 USD worth of weapon skins, so you know how bad it feels. I love buying skins but this kind of overpriced and impractical skin prices are not for me.
the new operator’s grabbing hook, according to the description in that screenshot, has nothing to do with mobility to that operator thou; it seems to be more like a fishing rob in Minecraft (🤨)
ive seen a few of these around. are people really paying that? doubt it. ive had 2 free goes at the skin somehow maybe they got it on one of those? crazy tho
In regards to shields, I think they should exist and be annoying to deal with, but as a trade off. Like, if someone wants to focus on defense instead of offense, let them. They traded their ability to kill with the ability to protect, it fits a role within a squad. In a way they're similar to healers. Healers can also make it so enemies are a lot tougher. I swear on some enemies I get 'hit 150' because they actually go down, so thanks to healers I have to deal an extra 50 points of damage. But I don't necessarily think that's a problem. Healers fit a role. However, I imagine this guy won't have a trade off, so yeah he's probably going to be poorly designed. Although maybe engineers will counter easily with explosives.
I agree with you regarding the skins prices, I'd rather spend 20-40$ per skin bundle mb 60 for these big operator bundles rather than 70+ for normal guns bundles and 150 for operator bundles....the prices are so damn high high for only 3 skins...i do understand theres a lot of work put in them but i wouldn't buy 210 (3 bundles) for a total of 9 skins for weapons like wtf is this...also the game being free doesn't make the bundles prices go through the roof like cmon
hey enders, my pc died so im stuck to my xbox, will this game have mouse and keyboard for console. that was the thing that stopped me from playing 2042 on console :(
If it's really an open beta there should be nothings like micro transactions but there is. Accept it . The reason they call it an open beta is just an excuse for lack of contents
@@kvnxyz It's not just Asian companies. Here in the USA, we have that slop as well (Blizzard with their $90 mount). We're going to see less, affordable micro-transactions at this rate as they'll make ONE skin have the same price of several games. You all get what you deserve for supporting this in the first place.
That new skin is pure pay 2 win it makes them way harder to spot in dark areas and all other characters get brighter the further they are away but not this guy so if you look at a group of players you will much less likely focus this guy giving them less deaths.
Im sure im not far in ranked but im sitting at a 2 star lieutenant and have only gotten ONE of those “loot crates” and it gave me the stupid voice lines.
Personally the fact that skins have an exorbitant price poses no problem to me, you can buy 4000$ Jpeg ships in Star Citizen XD But no one is forcing you to do it, the game has zero pay to win. If they make a Zoya skin for $150 I really think I'll take it, she's one of the most stylish characters I've ever seen in a video game :) This studio deserves my money. $30 day 1 campaign + $150 skin in support of the studio, 100% cool! The only thing we can criticize is that the "gacha" system is not extremely clear. People who don't have a brain don't understand that by buying a "ticket" they are only buying a "chance" to get the skin, and scamming people who don't have a brain is not respectable :/
Some guy wrote a comment saying that their marketing is smart, Low prices for battle pass for the low payers and high prices for the big spending gambling suckers and it seems to be true. And that skin is horrible and funny enough free weapon skins from events and vouchers look better than the ones you open in mendelbrick cases.
ive gotten banned 7 times on my top 100 main, cant even play for a few hours at a time before i get a 1hr temp ban, but on my alt its a-ok to play as long as i want
I feel like they're going to lose more money than gain if they're going to price skins this high. Realistically shouldnt be any more then 30$ including lots of gun skins and background, not just the operator skin.
I kinda think all the skins look dumb. Not as bad as CoD but I don’t these bright vibrant colors that stand out and ruin immersion. Of course being F2P I understand why they went with an art style that forgoes immersion, same with much of the games design but I still don’t like it
I noticed you are using the Car-15 in this video. Is this your go to weapon? Thanks for all the info. I certainly agree with you talking about the Idiots in comments saying that I have never seen a cheater. There are tens of thousands of cheats trying to make themselves feel good because they cannot otherwise compete.
They definitely need to move away from the price of the bundles and it's honestly my biggest complaint of this game. First off, I know that I'm conditioned to the Call Of Duty bundle pricing model where $20 = 2400 cod points. So it's a bit annoying that each bundle costs 2400 Delta coins/tickets but that doesn't equal to $20. If $20 would equal to 2400 delta tickets, then I would honestly buy so many more bundles. As far as this "Research" bundle goes, it feels like such a scam. I thought it would only be 100 delta tickets per pull. The very first pull it was only 100 delta tickets. Then it said 5x for 500 delta tickets, so I thought "oh, so for 500 delta tickets I get 5 pulls" nope! so lame. Then it increased to 1000 coins and at that point I said "Nope, not worth it at all.
Congrats on getting semifinals! Great to see they'll change points for streaks but still no tuning of abilities, smokes, nades, explosives, and even talking about adding spread to weapons. Maybe nerfing SMGs a little bit because they are so oppressive up close and honestly, medium to sometimes far ranges. I know that SMGs are supposed to be good but if you have an AR there is quite smaller chance you will win. This is coming from the person who mains SMGs. Also clearly no one's using their brain when creating new operators because that new guy is going to be so fucking broken. 😂
All of the monetization is classic Chinese greedy corporate slop. Like I get needing to monetize a free game, but the way they did it just REEKS of Chinese gacha gambling scams. And there is nothing we can say that’ll change anything in their minds or the game. I’ll still play the game, but beyond the battlepass I bought because I’m enjoying the game(and shepherd’s skin is cool, bite me) , they aren’t getting a penny more from me. It bothered me enough that they limited battlepass xp.
What's with this chinese greedy and chinese scammers nonsense? Have you seen the absolute slop the last bf and the last several cods have been? And that was AFTER paying full price for the games. You seriously have a problem with devs monetizing COSMETIC items, so they can make money for making a free-to-play game with no pay-to-win mechanisms? "The way they go about it".... I'm pretty sure this is the only f2p shooter, across all platforms, even mobile, that even let's you be able to get the top-tier cosmetic item (which btw is their sole means of revenue) by just playing and grinding
Shield and grapple hook? Damn, talk about shafted lmao. Shields in fps games need to be done away with altogether. Also when this is out on console, crossplay is getting turned off straight away, they better give us the option to do that
All I want to know how are you bending d gun without focusing on the scope? Bur u said the right thing about the skin. Delta force should release it as a bundle. Even 50 dollars is acceptable.
Man. I play and can’t help but wish the operators didn’t have special abilities. Just stick to basic warfare stuff. Grenades, grenade launchers, rocket launchers etc. some basic warfare with the focus on cosmetics, weapons, vehicles and maps would be incredible.
Though I do agree some price points are quite high, I feel that everyone is forgetting that everything on the market (including the d-wolf skin and the m4 skin) can be obtained as a f2p with enough dedication and grinding. That single fact alone honestly makes it infinitely better than any other game’s market, since it allows for f2ps to grind for bundles and gatcha items while allowing for spenders to purchase them outright via spending money.
Don't blame the company, blame the people that buy this shit. Companies only do this stuff because people actually engage with it. It's worth it for the company to do this. Not like I care, I'm not spending money on gambling for an outfit. I only bought the battle pass since it's cheap, like £5, and I'm seeing guns all the time so I might as well get a few skins for them. Sick of just looking at these black clumps of metal. CoD solved this issue by giving players like a dozen skins per gun to unlock as they use it, but DF only has the one which is lame. I'm not getting anything other than the battle pass though. £5 every, what, 6 weeks? is cheap for me.
I'm sure you're not complaining about the free-to-play fully featured battlefield and extraction shooter, with all the expected upcoming content and the anticheat efforts
This game is just not enjoyable to me, I sometimes get the sweatiest enemies meanwhile I have Tommy sucking on a glue bottle on my team and it is the most frustrating experience ever. There's always someone flanking, always some fucking hero jumping in front of my whole team just to kill me and die right after. God this shit is frustrating.
@@MrZhaw And they won't take them away on full release. Whatever you're paying for, you'll keep. @@King5464 Just saying the "it's just a beta bro" argument doesn't hold much water when they're going balls to the walls selling skins with that price. While it's technically true that it is a beta, the features and the state of the game are more akin to a full release.
@@MrZhaw That should be a point of praise, that even in beta it feels and is treated like the full release. And I'm not saying people can't or shouldn't criticize the problems, obviously feedback is how they'll find out what to fix. But it's not unreasonable to reign in your expectations just a bit. And saying "This shit is a flop", is just completely moronic
It 100% WILL cost you $150. I started putting some money towards it ($60) and got the lowest crap, in the exact order it shows. Will not be putting a cent towards this game again, when I’ve put a lot more towards other games, but if you’re going to scam a vast majority of your player base like that, not gonna put my money into their game.
I knew this would happen the first time they announced a new operator. This is one of the reasons that killed 2042 and mark my words, DF will die too if they keep adding more operators. TBH, I think they're already ruined the game with all these operators.... I even lost count that's how aweful this operator concept it. In the end I think Battlefield 6 will win over the core player base since we will go back to the class system and everyone will fall in love with BF again because of that.
If I had to spend $150 USD I wouldn’t buy anything from Delta Force, Battlefield, Call of Duty or any other online multiplayer from Triple A/Quad triple A. Instead, I would put that money towards the real gaming industry and buy the best indie titles that released in 2024. Games like: Neva, Still Wakes the Deep, The Plucky Squire, Planet of Lana, Nine Sols, Cat Quest 3 and Thank Goodness You're Here!. You get way more content, way more hours of entertainment and enjoyment over a weapon cosmetic micro-transaction.

@ Me getting it the way I did or having to spend 150$
@@SolsticeT your case.
@ Damn. I should hit the lottery I guess
@@SolsticeTMeh, that was your moment mate! You should have use that luck in the lottery ;)
they're beginning to reveal their true face
I’ve seen many free-to-play games fail because of three main reasons:
Listening to the players too much is one of the worst things any dev can do
@@King5464True, I’ve worked at multiple companies that listened too much to user feedback.
With cheating being so bad that kernel level anti-cheat exists, I don't know why anyone bothers to play shooters anymore.
Only the cheaters and sweaty people remain. Other than that, sane people with a life stay away for good reason.
It would be great if they could get 150 rage hackers off the extraction mode :)
new operator might be the nail in the coffin for me. with the cheating, network and netcode issues (in oce at least), performance issues and annoying "hero abilities" i dont know if i can do it anymore
new skin should def be offered as a bundle. would make more money this way
@EndersFPS any news from the devs working on a fix for the beaming issue in game? As you suggested this game has no spread so you can just full auto enemies down at range which is really frustrating when you're on the receiving end.
Beaming is their core gameplay design so there wont change it. Already confirmed it in October but you western guys just don't get it
If the leaks about this new operator are true, his grappling hook is more akin to Roadhog from OW and not 2042, that and apparently HackClaw’s ultimate skin is going to be cat-themed 😂
I dropped 50 bucks hoping to get this and that was my hard stop. Honestly pretty upset that they went this route. I've decided i'm not spending a single dollar more on this game.
Either you are ready to spend the 150$, or you spend nothing, but dropping just 50$ is playing at the casino, and only idiots play at the casino...
@@kafirr wow you’re so nice, you’re victim blaming him for wasting 50$ on gambling, good job !!
So console version is coming and cross play I am assuming. Do we know if you can opt out of it like in many other games?
No crossplay confirmed yet
You are the man Enders
100000% agree, already spent 15 USD behind it and I am so heart broken. I already bought 100 USD worth of weapon skins, so you know how bad it feels. I love buying skins but this kind of overpriced and impractical skin prices are not for me.
I know theres a gun in COD thats costs $400, developers are going crazy
I hope they fix the price segment of bundles
Whatever Tencent touches becomes shit or becomes a heavyily monetized game
Talking about a free-to-play game that's got more features than any FPS out right now.... lol
just not true
ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY CLAMS?!
ive had 23 nukes called in a row on sector D from both sides, its fucking cancer when that happens
the new operator’s grabbing hook, according to the description in that screenshot, has nothing to do with mobility to that operator thou; it seems to be more like a fishing rob in Minecraft (🤨)
ive seen a few of these around. are people really paying that? doubt it. ive had 2 free goes at the skin somehow maybe they got it on one of those? crazy tho
im hoping the graple is like mortal kombat style (and used in the finals with heavy) get over here! :P
When are you gonna make a pistol builds video
I agree with you regarding the skins prices, I'd rather spend 20-40$ per skin bundle mb 60 for these big operator bundles rather than 70+ for normal guns bundles and 150 for operator bundles....the prices are so damn high high for only 3 skins...i do understand theres a lot of work put in them but i wouldn't buy 210 (3 bundles) for a total of 9 skins for weapons like wtf is this...also the game being free doesn't make the bundles prices go through the roof like cmon
tf happened to the micro in microtransaction bru

hey enders, my pc died so im stuck to my xbox, will this game have mouse and keyboard for console. that was the thing that stopped me from playing 2042 on console :(
4:14 best part😂😂
And this is an open beta! Remember that
If it's really an open beta there should be nothings like micro transactions but there is. Accept it . The reason they call it an open beta is just an excuse for lack of contents
Best map and mode to get prowler for kai ..struggling to get it,once missed it by 1 kill.
At least he has a helmet(the new leaked guy), unlike the other operators.
Btw when PKM build?
I was afraid they would put that cod mobile skin system smh
🤣🤣its tencent, asian devs man.
@ A man can dream😔
@@kvnxyz It's not just Asian companies. Here in the USA, we have that slop as well (Blizzard with their $90 mount). We're going to see less, affordable micro-transactions at this rate as they'll make ONE skin have the same price of several games. You all get what you deserve for supporting this in the first place.
@ talk for yourself, I never spend anything over $20 for in game items, the world went wrong when games got industrialized
Finally someone talk about this SCAM, and i see people saying "wow it only cost 1 ticket!" or "wow you can have it for free" ,yea sure
SPIDERMAN DOZER oh fuck ja!
q1 2021 FINALLY
The best skin about the skin was the song that come with it 😂
sad i actually thought i would get the character skin randomly got the character card and emblem.
Was really looking forward to this but now not so much
Personally the fact that skins have an exorbitant price poses no problem to me, you can buy 4000$ Jpeg ships in Star Citizen XD But no one is forcing you to do it, the game has zero pay to win.
If they make a Zoya skin for $150 I really think I'll take it, she's one of the most stylish characters I've ever seen in a video game :)
This studio deserves my money.
Q1 2021? my guy, your stuck in 2020.....
Anyone they banned was back the next day....
ive gotten banned 7 times on my top 100 main, cant even play for a few hours at a time before i get a 1hr temp ban, but on my alt its a-ok to play as long as i want
I feel like they're going to lose more money than gain if they're going to price skins this high. Realistically shouldnt be any more then 30$ including lots of gun skins and background, not just the operator skin.
This game gets good and then goes bad constantly. I hope the release on console is smooth
I kinda think all the skins look dumb. Not as bad as CoD but I don’t these bright vibrant colors that stand out and ruin immersion.
Of course being F2P I understand why they went with an art style that forgoes immersion, same with much of the games design but I still don’t like it
why my nuke sometimes require to had 22K points huh
You are also getting this screen tearing bug or is my graphic card failing?
Bug
I noticed you are using the Car-15 in this video. Is this your go to weapon? Thanks for all the info. I certainly agree with you talking about the Idiots in comments saying that I have never seen a cheater. There are tens of thousands of cheats trying to make themselves feel good because they cannot otherwise compete.
Hard to notice the cheaters when the game has internal cheats.. wall hack??
but you can get the skin for free if you sell mandelbricks
Also when this is out on console, crossplay is getting turned off straight away, they better give us the option to do that
Day 20 of me getting 280+ ping here in south Asia. It's like our servers completely disappeared.
Q1 2021 😂
Lol 😆
uuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you didnt hear that
Oh pls no mckay clone.. everyone going to rooftop camp once again
Will we be able to turn off the fucking crossplay ? Any word on that ?
Yes please. All these cheating cucks can stay on pc for all i care. Also i hear pc players dont like aim assist so its a win win for everyone.
I'm fine with taking out shields but are more annoyed by OP girl bosses in every fucking game
I think that you are underes5imating how much people can spend, i see so many subrosa skins in my operations.
Why do you need a ‘skin’? Stop worrying dressing up (unless of course ur female)
4:40 the console version is slated to release Q1 2021 wow😂 I thought we were in 2024
Are you still having fun with it? I tuned into a stream lately and you didn’t seem to be having a good time.
Imagine cheating in a game where an operator's passive is wall hacks lol
Tencent moment 😂💀💀
Can't even play, just 90+ ping every game.
They haven't solved cheating at all in ops.
This shit is a flop
You do know that this is still in beta right? The game hasn't even fully released yet
@@King5464 Yet they're selling $150 skins. Quite unusual, don't you think?
@@MrZhaw And they won't take them away on full release. Whatever you're paying for, you'll keep. But the purpose of an open beta is large scale testing, gathering feedback and ironing out any issues that pop up when the servers start getting populated. Can't just say it's a flop when it hasn't even released lol
Will not be putting a cent towards this game again, when I’ve put a lot more towards other games, but if you’re going to scam a vast majority of your player base like that, not gonna put my money into their game.
i really love this game , BUT DAMN THE SKINS ARE SOOOOO EXPENSIVE
Agree skin in store look very nice but dam expensive
I just stick with orange unlocked one 😂
@Hanchanrong fr . Me too lmao
I mean they are just cosmetic you don't need to buy them, also quality games you mentioned, you should try out "In sound mind"
NOOO NO SHIELDS
