I wish the researchers had done their home work!! There are two S's in TEESSIDE not one. I'm proud of where I live and over the past dozen years our area has been ransacked . Government's have bailed out banks for Trillions of £$ While letting one of the best steel making area's in the world go to the dogs. Now 100 odd years of steel making on Teesside is consigned to history :-(
$41 million a year spent on checking pollution in rivers by the Environment agency, why didn't it list the tees as a major polluter? Because the river is clean, so clean the salmon have returned. The only thing which you might find floating on the tees is a brown south bank trout, which is common in nearly every river in the uk. Up the BORO!!!!
