7:03 Super long drift! Makes me go out and ride a buggy :)
This place reminds me very much Bray Dunes and actually you are not far away from it!

Het spijt me, ik realiseerde me net dat het in België is. Het zou leuk zijn om daar te landboarden.

Nice! I also own a PL Twister II 4.1m². But the hornets are better buggy kites, less lift more traction.

@@420Kanoa420Isn't lift just vertical traction? What do you mean? Cheers

holy shit that was fast bro... im happy I smoked a joint and watched this video before buying a kite, now I know a 3meter kite will fuck me up, think ill go with a 2meter

3m kite is a good starter! Just don't fly it in winds that make you feel uncomfortable (unless you have enough experience)

they were sold out of 2m so i went with the 3m hornet, I love it, but the past weekend was shit rain so i didn't even try fly it... your video is great dude, a mate mentioned powerkites to me once he found out I use to mountainboard, i didn't really have much of an interest until I seen your video of your point of view from a buggy, now I fuckin love powerkites, they turn shit weather into fun!!! thanks for putting that video up man, it inspired me to buy the kite, and now i want a buggy and 100% ill either buy 1 or try make 1... and your video is the inspiration, so thank you

Where is this at? How far is it from side to side you were going? I own this kite (hornet 3m), a twister III 5.5m, and a beamer IV 2m. Love seeing someone get so much out of this kite but out of curiosity why no kite killers?

    • @420Kanoa420

This is in Belgium! The distance between the wave breakers is 350-400 meters, the distance between the dunes and the sea depends on the tides and moon phases.
I've been kite buggying for about seven to eight years, i can tell you flying with kite killers whilst being hooked in with handles makes a big clumsy spaghetti...

Hey man, I own this exact kite, Iv been flying it for around a year on handle, I have just purchased the peter lynn 4 line control bar, but when I set it up I cant get the kite to fly, it just spins over and over and crashes in a heap? It's really annoying me, don't suppose you have any idea why this would be? I used the lines that were on my handles? could this be a reason? Also, I am guna get myself a buggy soon, I reckon I weight more than you, do you think that my 3M will handle it? or will I only be able to go out when its mega windy.
And would i be ok to learn without a harness? Or is this vital piece of equipment?
Sorry to be a pain, but Other than flying my kite, I really don't know much about equipment etc for the buggying side of things.
Any info would be really helpful, im on the hunt on eBay, guntree etc and will be getting a biggy as soon as one comes up within my price range, I just hope I don't buy one, only to discover that I still need to spend a couple hundred pounds getting myself another kite, either 4M or 5M Hornet I reckon as I already know i'm a hornet fan.
Any info regarding bar use, harness, and buggying with a 3M will be really helpful..
This Vid is the one that made me make my decison that I am 100% getting a buggy lol.
    Cheers Man, Harry.

I would not recommend a bar for a 4-line powerkite. This because you make steering with your brakelines as good as impossible, wich will make your kite turn a lot slower and short turns would be as good as impossible. If you still want to fly that bar, make sure both flylines have the same length. Brakelines should be slightly longer than the flylines. If this is not the case just make them a little longer. Same here, make sure both your brakelines have the same length. If this is not the case, your kite will start to go crazy. Your 3m could handle your weight in certain windspeeds. More kites for different windspeeds = more fun!

Cheers man, i havn't flown with the bar yet still, I'm searching eBay, Gumtree etc for an affordable buggy, when I manage to purchase one, i think I'll fly handles for that, then bust the bar out when (attempting) riding the mountain board.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I really am looking forward to racing across the local beaches on a little buggy lol.
There is a 3 mile beach not far from where i live... So on the right days that is guna be mega fun.
Your vid's are wicked, cheers man. Xx

Really interesting how you hooked yourself in there. Is the rope flexible/movable enough to still steer? And can you unhook yourself anytime in case something happens? It looks like you are just thumbing it closed 😁
