    Awesome my backup chair the m300 hd had a huge amount of squeak on the train. Stuffed tons of blue disposable shop towels in the cracks and ended up wrapping the seat belt up and around the back sling style and stuffing the roll under the strap to try and reduce it so I could get some sleep and not disturb the neighbors. This is something I will be doing soon to my c300 and m300 hd.

    Another amazing video you’re so helpful to all of the OCD issues lol I know I’m the same way any squeaks or any noise drives me totally crazy and all the manufactures that get pissed about your videos can shove it they just know what you’re doing is helpful to all their customers and they would rather charge us a fortune to fix or replace the items I’m thankful your out there helping us with cost effective solutions i wish their were more people like you keep up the great work

    My q6 edge hd has started making annoying squeeks, at only 160 miles.
    A couple of them were in the seat similar to this, but I still haven’t been able to get the frame to quiet down. I really wish manufacturers would add a few grease fittings to chair frames.

      if its anything like the edge 1 that i have.. the shocks and gas struts on the suspension are responsible for a lot of the noise! as well as their mounting points.. i wont say to put silicone spray lube on shocks (for reasons lol) but that stuff is great for other connection points on the chair.. also they make an aerosol white lithium grease - (needs some cleanup after use) but works well on a lot of frame pivots and connection points

    Nice fix. BTW, are those armrest pads gel from permobil? They look pretty comfortable. I have some of the Gelovation ones, but they don't stay in place very well. Been looking forever for another option besides the hard fake leather ones.

    Wow, must be nice to be able to twist around like you did at marker 17:47, I can barely turn towards the side, lol. I'm jealous. My seat on this non rehab chair, the seat back anyway doesn't come apart like that, nor does it squeek. But the whole rest of the dang thing squeeks, grr.

      I always thought WD-40 and Duct tape were the essential's, clearly, Velcro and Hot Glue fall in the same class...

      @TotallyNormal-  6 років тому

      shh don't tell anyone.. but that grease i got on my finger.. that was from all the WD40 i sprayed EVERYWHERE when attempting a quick fix last year haha

      Get yourself a set of Ball Drivers, much easier after you break the nut loose...

      yeaaa i bought a set of snap on - handle ball drivers years ago, had to take out a 3rd mortgage to afford them,. but haven't been able to find since last move :^( i should probably get some crappy harbor freight ones, and an hour later, im sure the old ones will re-appear! haha

    The four screws that hold the arms on the back are notoriously squeaky and loose

      they appear to be riveted in place... im wondering if they could be replaced with stainless bolts, or something that can be tightened up a bit over time..

    I wonder if adhesive felt strips would work the same.

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  3 роки тому

      they should! just needs to be able to handle constant sliding/pressure from the seat back.. velcro is what i happened to have lying around :^)

    I just got a new chair my old chair was over 10 years old so my insurance did not want to repair it .I want to gift for free my old chair to someone for parts. If you know anyone interested in a permobil m300 tilt chair...the mechanism that lifted the seat up and down is what broke ..the tilt mechanism still works fine.

    Hi, if anybody knows the r-net dongle work on Permobil F3 2019.
    I use the HH DTT programmer and it says no connection on display between chair and programmer. Thanks for the help.
