@@CrazeeAdam Its a bug thats gonna be patched out eventually. Some sort of script run error with the voice modulation. Quite a few streamers have encountered it.

Dear Leon S Kennediary: Today a swingball headed ganado was on fire and started moonwalking towards me, it was really scary. Then I found chicken party isle, that was rad, but I think my friend the merchant has been replaced with a robot, but he still bought all my stuff, which was nice. I love my hair, I would never put a hat on it.
"Kennediary" needs so much more attention.
The dog is sitting on one of the ledges. If you walk up to him Leon will say "thanks buddy" or something like that.
I'll never forget when on the first 3D screening of A Phantom Menace, a kid who was way too young to see the movie shouted excitedly "Look, his pants fell off!" as Darth Maul's two halves were falling down that chasm.
I mean... that kid wasn't wrong.
The dog actually still stay around after the battle with the "cave troll" he just sitting on top some rocks near the entrance. Walking up to it Leon says either "thanks friend or good boy"
18:45 The theory in the first RE4 was that the Merchant was a kind of Ganado that had maintained his intelligence and individuality after infection. The Remake reveals the truth: The Merchant is a cybernetic augment escaped from an Umbrella facility. Every so often, his speech circuits act up, but he himself doesn't notice.

I think one of if not THE best new quality of life improvement is the ability to send any of your weapons directly from your attache case inventory to the storage accessible through the typewriter, so you can make room to pick up a important piece of loot/weapon without having to go back and forth or having to discard items.

Regarding cave troll undercarriage, if you ever take the Weta tour in New Zealand you will find out that the artist who sculpted the cave troll insisted on making him anatomically correct.
The red 9 in the original resident evil 4 is a very useful gun. As it's upgraded, it does good damage and has great ammo capacity.
And in the VR version had an easier and more satisfying loading mechanic. My personal favourite handgun of choice.
It’s also the gun Luis uses in the original.

Loving the super-dramatic entrance "hey, it's that dog" gets during the boss fight. Like, damn, the dog feels like the real hero here! And uh, RE4, can you NOT do that with the Merchant's voice? It's very bizarre and unsettling. O.o

i like how you get to inlay treasure with gems to increase the value, was always great to try to find the right items to try to do that in the original

I feel saving the president’s daughter would warrant a whole team of Navy Seals or Army Rangers.
True, pretty much everyone in government from county sheriff's deputies on up would be on the lookout for jerks who tried to kidnap members of the First Family. The only explanation I can think of is that Washington didn't really expect Leon's investigation to turn up anything useful, and when it did go hot, it all popped off faster than the Powers That Be could react.
I mean, obviously the door-kickers themselves could be armed and ready in minutes and on a plane within the hour, but Spain is a NATO ally. Sending a battalion of special forces into their territory with kill orders would probably take some convincing - not to mention the diplomats would have to work around whatever agents Saddler probably had in Madrid with orders specifically to slow down exactly that kind of action.
Especially in matters of stealth missions, more people aren't necessarily better
@@jaymulls5426 Pretty sure when they kidnapped the president's daughter they knew he'd send people after them. No need for stealth.
Little tip for the spinny-headed guys; flashbangs deal with them almost fully. Or at least they did in the og, not sure about remake, but if it works it saves a lot of time and effort 👌🏽

It suddenly makes sense why the Merchant isn't infected by the Plagas now: as a member of the Mechanicus, his augmetic replacements don't leave much flesh for it to infect.

The dog was to your left up on a ledge right before exiting the quarry (same gate that closes in front of you during the cut scene). If you walk up to it Leon just says thanks to the dog lol

Man this game is so good. I can’t wait to get off work and play more of it. I want to do nothing but play it every opportunity I have free time. I can’t tell you the last time a game had grabbed my interest this much. Ok it was God of War Ragnarok but still. I’m on my second play through saving up for the infinite rocket launcher.

Andy's doing this on purpose, isn't he? Leaving the shotgun and rifle on one round has the exact same energy as his "adult Grogu" strategy to drive Star Wars fans insane.
The less ammo is in the guns, the more free ammo you receive when you upgrade its capacity. I'm pretty sure it's just instinctual. I avoid reloading as much as I can as well, because if I do, I end up wasting ammo I may have saved by upgrading my gun later
@@mar_speedman It could be leftover instincts from RE4, except the remake doesn't give you a full magazine when you upgrade a gun. Plus, he went by the merchant several times with plenty of money, mostly empty guns, and never got a weapon upgrade.

i watched popular streamer jerma985 struggle with that hex puzzle for like half an hour, have an absolute meltdown and ask chat for help and chat solved it in like two turns. he looked like he was going to cry.
When I saw the puzzle I was like "Oh FFS I am goin to spend 30 minutes on this", speciall fter spending literally round 20-30 minutes in the ball puzzle thing in chapter 2, in the Villger's head house or whatever it is called...
But in thi one I literally moved the pieces 2 or 3 times and immedietely got it... Don't ask me how I surprisedd myself as well lool

Multiple gems of the same colour is worth more than multiple different colours, except in items with 5 slots
Even in that case- three red beryl and two yellow diamonds is worth more than the 5 different colors best combo
