N7FTM Looks like a great antenna to have on hand! Not needing a tuner means less items to carry in the field!

I live in an HOA with a 6' white plastic fence. I'm using this antenna in a horizontal L config, 22' S-N then 44' E-W. 6' high supported every 8' on the inside of the vinyl fence post. The antenna feed point, IMD, is clamped to a 6' steel post driven 18" into ground , 8' from the house. I like this antenna a lot. I switch a Yaesu FTDX10 and a Xiegu G90 with it and a vertical.

I have this antenna and just got a chance to really use it yesterday.
It really is as multi banded as the claims. I’m a newer Ham and haven’t had a lot of experience.., but this antenna seems good. I’m considering buying a second to put up at the QTH.

Excellent video. Where I live it is complicated to put up an antenna due to multiple powerlines on my property. Then there are also hills all around.

Nice to know the performance of this antenna. Mine is an End fed, 9:1 UNUN and 121' of wire. While good with internal tuner on IC-7300, still need external tuner for 160 meters only.

Decent looking antenna option for field use. Although I like putting my wire antennas together myself this is a nice package you could leave in a car or bag as ready to go option or even as a backup option so it is tempting. Experimenting with different configurations and locations could do a lot to change SWR readings too to so I wouldn't be too turned off by it considering how many bands it covers.

KD2DOE - Great review as always. Thinking it’s a great idea for mobile use for EComm deployment, Field Day, Parks On The Air, etc. In addition to having a second antenna at my home shack set up at an angle to my existing home-brew dipole to cover more of the US and World. Nice to know it covers the 10 and 6 meter bands now that we are entering the Spurious E skip period.

W1TEN - Jason thanks so much for your videos. Has really inspired me to lighten the load for my portable ops (POTA) using the Raspberry Pi. Have you ever considered using (building a video???) with the Rig Expert AA30.Zero with the Pi? I just configured it this week on top of the Pi that has your Build a Pi 2.0 scripts. Really helps with setting up field antennas from Wolf RIver coils to linked dipoles etc. Looking forward to your Build a Pi 3. 73 - Greg

    YO8SDE -
although I don't think you'll send it overseas.
Did you use the same coax cable when you did measurement with nanoVNA as the one connected to Yaesu?
SWR for an antenna must measured at his end, not after some meters of coax cable, because that cable might become part of the antenna.
