i saw them live three times right around 2004/2005 and they FUCKING ROCKED like no other band i remember seeing in those days. I'm 35 years old now, listen to all kinds of music but satellite years is still in my top 5 albums
Man I miss aces basement a lot. It was only around those few short years but it was such an amazing venue and how they got all those big name bands to come to that tiny place in that hellhole of a hotel is still beyond me.
Those first notes in the video take me straight back to sitting on the bus in high school

Saw Hopesfall open up for Locust and Dillinger back in the day at Ziggys in Winston. Still one for the lineups I ever seen.

Wow! Probably the best live performance I have seen of those Satellite Years songs. It's funny though....with all that screaming Jay has a really hard time singing the clear parts. Being the lead singer of a band in my early years....I can only imagine the strain those screams has on his voice...OMG!! That's tough to repeat on a nightly basis
