    I've worked as an engineer in both the East and West Coast, specifically Boston, Massachusetts and Cupertino, California, two of the most expensive cities in the USA and arguably the world. In this video, I will talk about some of the crazy purchases I made with my $150K engineering income and show you exactly how much I spend each month. I'll also share several financial lessons I learned along the way and effective ways to better manage your money once you start working.

Good video though and keep it up.

      @@Saki630 what's wrong with you? dekev was just questioning the budget, because it seemed odd that he was seemingly using more money than he was earning. If we look at business equipment, and how he decided to list it in the monthly budget, it's obvious where the mistake came from. EngineeringGoneWild decided to phrase it incorrectly at 08:13. "I paid ... per month". It is not fair to call this a monthly budget, as he included several one-time purchases, and didn't account for some hypothetical time frame until he would upgrade or replace them. Instead, this is a month-specific budget. His true budget might fluctuate:
      month 1 -> month 2 -> ... -> month N
      $9500 -> $4500 -> $4500 -> $5500 -> $20000 -> $4500 or whatever.
      Instead, it would probably be more fruitful to look at the essentials and relatively consistent costs, such as rent and food.

    What you do is really irresponsible. You should save most of your money and purchase a house or two and invest in the markets. Eventually you will lose your job and will regret all the stupid decisions you made.
