Can someone please help explain? During the opening of Bruce Lee's martial arts school, his Uncle looks up at the Martial Arts signage at 32:45. The sign writing clearly shows the words "Kung Fu". Yet, when the scene cuts back to the uncle again at 33:42, the sign writing is changed to "Gung Fu". Can someone please explain the purpose of changing the text in a movie?
Maybe it is the way they said it, in Chinese slang its spell or pronounce its as "gung fu", for other who are not chinese will hear it as kung fu, its still the same.
