Cried a little with you. I just had it . I have always felt the same way. I wax women everyday and now I know I’m normal but the self hatred my whole life couldn’t be changed I couldn’t accept my labia . Thank you for sharing i have compassion for you and myself for feeling so shameful and I hope I learn to heal my image of myself and retrain my brain
Thank you for sharing, i am 15 years post op (age 30 now) and like you, only now is it becoming apparent how normal I was. I lost so much sensation and i am finding it hard to love the scars i have left. I hope to study tantra etc more to come to terms with the loss. I think I need to look more to internal womb/cervix awakening stuff as so much has been amputated, my external sensation is ruined. I was very orgasmic from a young age so it is really hard to deal with the change. As youve said, this stuff should be covered, poor young girls growing up dont get a full picture of how their bodies function. Love and care xx
Wow thank you for sharing, i’m so sorry you had to go through that 🖤🖤 Tantra and sacred sexuality could be great for you, i dived deep for a few years and it brought me a lot of healing. xx
I'm somebody who comes from a completely different background (Middle Eastern - Muslim, born and raised in the UK). Still, I do understand your struggles and relate to a lot of them. I never told my mum when I got my period just because of my bizarre secretive personality... Like I never felt comfortable sharing with anyone. Once I did she was the most supportive mother ever. I also never told her about the surgery and told her 5 days after since she was getting worried about me walking like a penguin around the house and thought I was getting something down there. Once again she was extremely supportive which I didn't expect at all. Thank you so much for your video though! Once again, eventhough our backgrounds are so different I could really relate to you in so many ways and I feel so much better about it after watching you talk about things I haven't really heard other youtubers talk about 💕
@@gsxr1747 Hii, I'm feeling fine. I'm on day 14 and mine healed relatively slowly compared to a lot of other women (judging by what I've read online) but it got drastically better after day 10. My surgeon decided the wedge method wouldn't be good for me since i had quite a lot of excess skin. The just trimmed the sides. No sensation lost whatsoever, it's still swollen but i am already so hapoy with the results
Hi Nour! It's been 4 months since you had the surgery, how are you doing now? How long did it take for the pain to subside? I'd be really interested in knowing as thinking of having this surgery soon! Thanks sm! x
I just had this surgery yesterday and i did it solely for discomfort and pain reasons. Its pretty painful but im really hoping in the next few weeks i like the results and feel good about it.
Thank you for your sincere, honest, straightforward approach. There are women who have it done cause the excessive labia is causing them physical discomfort :during sex, rubbing with cloth , or interfering with hygiene ;or a combination of these.
@@alenachavez3870 I didn’t see this until now but i’m doing much better now. I can’t lie the first week of recovery really is tough but more so mentally than physically. I hope all goes well and honestly my best advice is when u go home after have a pillow u can lay ur pelvis on and lay flat in the back of the car while someone drives u bc i didn’t and it caused me issues. I’m open for any questions it’s my fourth week i’m pretty sure:) I hope all goes well w ur procedure!
That’s so cute! Can wait to get my labia done at end of next month.Eventho none of my Ex said anything negative about it but I doing it for comfort and confidence and pretty 🐱
i have been considering this surgery for years. i had an ex that was abusive and left me with some scars both emotional and physical. so much so to the point that i refuse specific positions or acts because i don’t want my current partner to see it and be disgusted as well. i have put so much thought into this because i don’t want to look back one day and know i made a decision biased on an aweful man’s opinion.
i feel this. i’d recommend definitely going to see a professional (psychologist) to discuss your traumas before deciding on such an intense, painful & irreversible surgery 💗💗 the right partner will love you for you, whatever you decide xx
Thank you for being so open about this. I know that maybe in your country imposing male circumcision on newborns is not common ,but in the USA many :the majority of parents impose male circumcision and body modification on newborn male babies; many times women saying cause it wha I like .Also some religions impose male circumcision on their infants or under aged boys ,such as Islam ,even though it is not mandatory or a mandate in the Islamic religion . I hope more American,South Korean ,Islamic people will see this video and stop having their infant and underaged male circumcised
In Hindu.Sikh , and Buddhist religons the body must be intact for good tantric sex .SO having a child circumcised at birth hinders that bond :the divine and energetic bond.We are not suppose to alternate or mutilte the body the creator gave us.
very interesting on the trauma women go ,especially being penetrated . Men who were forcibly circumcised; as infants or any age ,carry that trauma ;when the woman is being literally pounded and feels violated and raped the trauma is extended to women as well .Also the energetic trauma is thrown on them .If any American women read this please stop circumcising your infant boys .You are not only doing them a favor ,but also their partners. If you are African or Polynesian; and are Christian ,you do not have to circumcise your sons, and even if you are tribal there are initiations that involve no genital cutting..If you are South Korean:stop something that your culture took from America, and it is not part of your culture. If you are Islamic:Islam does not mandate male or female circumcision .
I just had surgery and I'm still recovering. I've been thinking about sharing my journey as well bc so many of us feel this way about ourselves. I've been trying to find someone's testimony about their recovery. Mine had been a lot. I've been out of work for 3 weeks and it's been taking so long to recover. I'm having so many mixed feelings. I'm happy I got it done. I had a lot of painful issues. I've had to many yest infections to count. Infected ingrown hairs and the emotional aspects of hating how I looked and how uncomfortable I felt in clothes and certain underwear. And I'd never wear bikini bottoms only short or skirt style. Idk how you were able to get back to work so fast i still can't sit down. And then being home for so long I'm having cabin fever. And I've been so emotional so many mixed feelings about this. My Dr took off 3 or 4 inches off each side l. I didn't know the recovery was going to be so long but my Dr told me to remember that she took a lot off me and everyone heals different and it's going to take time to heal. I love the way I look but it feels so strange to no longer have my flaps. I'm so happy I've done this for me. I know once I'm all healed all this pain will havw been worth it and save me so much pain and discomfort down the road. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I hope I'll have the courage to do the same. ❤️❤️ sending love and good medicine 🙏
everyone’s journey is different 💗💗 take the time to listen to your body’s needs. meanwhile you don’t owe anyone an explanation, your journey is your own to share if/when/how you wish xx
@amoraabdul try using a peri bottle with lukewarm salt water or room temp salt water when you go to the bathroom. That was a huge help for me. Continue to switch between ice packs and hot packs. The ice will help with the pain, and the heat will draw more blood flow to the area, which will promote healing. Take warm baths. Don't use any scented soap. I've always use an unscented dove bar to cleans down there. Check in with your doctor to make sure you don't have any infections or anything like that. My dr had to refill my pain meds for me. I was first on perc's she gave me 2 refills then she lowered me to Norco. I literally could not sit for over a month. I have a very, very, very low pain tolerance so I fully understand what you're going through. Take it easy. I was going stir crazy, but you just have to push through and let your body rest so it can heal properly. Number 1 tip is absolutely no sex until you're fully 100% healed. I wish you the best of luck i hope you heal up completely very soon n I hope that you're as happy as I am once you full heal 🙏❤️ In a strange way for the longest time, after I felt kind of sad. Like I was so happy that I finally had it done but at the same time, I felt like part of me was missing. Everybody reacts differently and processes things differently. It definitely took sometime both physically and emotionally but I don't regret it at all now. Sex is so much better. They're not in the way, they're not getting bunched up or pinched in my underwear. I finally feel confident enough to wear bikini bottoms and don't have to worry about how it looks or my lips slipping out.
I have bigger inner lips. I like the way they look 🤷♀️ and I’ve never ever had a guy say anything negative in fact most say they like the way they wrap around their you know what
did you lose any sensation? I'm about to get the surgery but I've seen some women saying that they can't enjoy themselves anymore because the nerves stopped working
RN-OR(male) assisted with trim & V-Wedge, as did wife OR-RN. All women are different. Usually ( my observation) one labia minora larger than other. For dyspareunia, painful clothing, sports, invagination etc, this can provide a pain free sex life which all women are entitled to. I agree( porn) “Barbie Doll” look may contribute to what is normal. However, that is fairly rare( my observations) . For whatever reasons, cosmetics or above listed, 1 life, your body, your self-esteem. Do you realize how many women you are helping by being transparent? All that matters is YOUR happiness with yourself for whatever reason & I support that decision. A man should accept you for YOU, not your genitalia. It is a shame you had no one to talk to. Monogamous, but seen many women, all different ( labia majora, labia minora. I feel sad as you are so emotional. You probably were fine before the surgery. Pain however falls under medical needs. You again have helped many. Now personal, I did talk my wife out of this procedure, without dismissing her feelings. Lastly when I entered community health, I had many women requiring a catheter. As case manager, I could delegate this to an LPN, as I had more important issues on that day. She came back and verbatim stated “ she’s ugly down there”. I was livid & stood up in a roomful of RN’s & said “ excuse me, WHAT DID YOU SAY” ? My look & words stopped her immediately & I never delegated another catheter change to her. Only to another RN, if I was too busy. I am hoping you can move forward and enjoy the sex/love/whatever, you deserve. And yes, do THE RESEARCH. Warm regards, stay positive.
