- Hi everyone, so we reviewed the cheapest internet service in Nepal. WiFi Nepal is providing 30 Mbps internet for a yearly cost of Rs. 400 (Rs. 4000 Yearly). They give refurbished router with damaged power button. They also don't give admin access of router. The connection is also not consistent.

I think this is a good value for money proposition. Not everyone uses Internet for playing online games, streaming netflix, software development activities etc. For a small family of maybe 2 or 3 on a tight budget, who use internet for casual social media browsing and watching youtube, video calling friends and family abroad etc this looks like a good proposition.
The thing here is, the quality of service as the company grows. Will the company be able to provide that in the long run, only time will tell.

These speed and price war is certainly leading ISPs business to end. For a short period it will surely benefit consumers and eventually in the long run it will have negative impact in consumer experience .

If your subscription bandwidth is less than 54 Mbps you will get full speed . Check above 100 Mbps then you will get the exact result.
WiFi Nepal can be a game changer in Big cities where lots of people stay in rented room/s. But, they must always be loyal to customers because Internet has been a must-need thing and people can easily switch to any other option anytime. Again, NTA must strictly implement resource sharing (Supply Optical Fiber).

I don't understand how these new ISPs are gonna sustain with such low operating cost(package price) when the bandwidth they purchase from India is so expensive,major ISPs like Vianet, Worldlink have been here for a long time so reducing the package price won't have drastic effect on their operation

this is the worst . wifi doesnt even works in same in room dont even think about the other rooms . some times the wifi just doenst work like the exclamation mark comes in random time , and router its even worst, it you want to use this , think again , change your mind

these service providers giving these huge plans of 200, 300mbps internet plan for cheap price is all a scam. We never get the actual speed ever. Only method to get exact speed is to get enterprise or buiseness plans of these providers which are far more expensive
