    I love this campground. I’ve to look into the encore package with thousand trails. There are a number of great looking parks. Thanks so much for sharing this. I always get great new places to visit after watching your videos.

    Wow! I couldn't maneuver those narrow roads. Great vid. Thanks for sharing your realistic experience. I used to live on Sanibel Island. Be sure to take a side trip.

    I stayed at the exact same site you were located at in the park. My travel trailer is only 27 ft long, and I had a “fun time” getting out of the park. I liked the neighbors as well.

      Management must have assigned that unfavorable site for Thousand Trails Members with the Trails Collection add-on. Lou

    I wouldn't go back either.. That sugar sand turns black and gets on everything from cars driving by. I bet when Melody had to mop her water turned black. I checked the prices. For that much you would think they would at least have a bed of shell. Thanks for the video.

      The overnight fee to stay here with our Thousand Trails Membership was zero dollars. Still -- this RV park is now on our no go list. As always thanks for riding along with us Nancy. Lou

    Another encore that we have not been to yet. Love the look of that Hot Tub and their TIKI Bar was cute. It looks a lot like Southern Palms.It is not good to be on the sand. We will not stay her long if we do go at all. Mary 💕 Fred

    We stayed their last winter and we experienced the same issue. We are 42 ft 5 th wheel and we had to request to be moved as we could not get into the sight.

      Yep - This park falls into the "only if I have to" bucket. Thanks for riding along with us Andy. Lou

    Gosh, I wish you would have shown the rest of the park. We stayed there 3 years ago, and were assigned the site by you (on the end). We had a 34 ft Class A at that time. The place was full of French Canadians and most were not at all friendly. It was much more roomy the following year (Covid) when none of them came down.
    Now we have a 43 foot Class A and I am not sure we will fit in anywhere, but was wondering about the sites over nearest the exit-way.
    We love Fort Myers and with out Thousand Trails, this is really the only park there.
    I also wondered about the sites over in the woodsy area (lots of trees). I wish one could pick our own site there!
    Thanks for the review. My hubby did not like it and doesn't really want to return. (However, I want to visit Fort Myers!)

      Be sure to subscribe Kathy. Melody and I will be staying at several more Trails Collection properties in the Fort Myers area this snowbird season. More videos will follow. Thanks for watching! Lou

      Check the TT brochure or website; there are at least two Encore parks in Ft Myers (this one is in North Ft Myers, which isn’t quite the same.
      I’ve had wonderful interactions with the French Canadians there. FYI - I’ve been there three times.

    Been evaluating what rig to get let alone potential places to stay after deciding on the rig. I do know we're interested in similar campgrounds and resorts you review. That being said, thanks much for the excellent and comprehensive review! 😊👍

    We appreciate this video, thanks Lou. Was there no place to boondock in that area? Looking forward to your next vlog and stay safe.

      In late March 2022, we were heading south to cross the Everglades, visit Miami, and continue onto the Florida Keys. Although there is free boondocking further inland, the daytime highs were in the mid 80s. Boondocking in south Florida is more pleasant in January and February. Thanks for riding along with us. Lou

    We were the neighbors in the Imagine 2670 MK. Spent 3 months in sight 430. Sight 432 where Melody & Lou were primarily for Thousand Trail members for overnight and short stays. Like Melody stated my hubby had to move his truck each time someone came in or out of sight 432. We will not be staying in Pioneer Village again. Best part was meeting our new friends Melody, Lou & Milo 😃😁

    Man them roads look like a bike path I hope they were all one way roads

    • @LivingOurDreamNow
      @LivingOurDreamNow  2 роки тому

      Some but not all of the road were one way. Still -- too tight for our liking. Lou

    • @cathyyoung2036
      @cathyyoung2036 2 роки тому

      They were one way roads but NO road signage. Because of no one way signage people were driving both ways. Many times a traveler would have to back all the way down the narrow street to allow a vehicle with trailer to pass.

    Well...looks very nice to be in Florida, but not if you have to be staying there I guess. So sorry for your disappointment, and unhappy stay at that campground, thats not fun at all I can imagine. It looks like a well maintained, park...but too cramped together for sure! I mean the people's house across the street from your site, seemed no farther than 16 -18 feet....YES Melody , those streets were too too narrow !! They are just trying to squeeze in as many campers as they can, (to make a buck) There were some nice features, but, I still wouldnt feel , comfortable there. Oh, you did a nice tour of the laundry room Melody,(as usual), but even IT didnt compare to alot of the others you have shown us at the other campgrounds you have stayed at ! And it wouldnt be fun to have to move your vehicle when someone wanted in or out, and YOU, having to tell someone, to move THEIR vehicle, when you wanted to get in or out. Some of those other Rig's..the ones that were 2 and 3 times the size of yours, I dont see how they even made it to their site's !! ...Nah, Im with you, this park is NOT, "goin' down in the book" !! I didnt like the Rail Road track, behind the park either....too close. Could you hear or, feel the trains as they passed by? Thanks for another informative video!! It was still enjoyable to see yall, relaxing, and enjoying the warm weather, on your snowbird adventure ! And, at least you received a nice concolation prize... The nice folks next door to you !! Take care, vicky

    That place is a dump. The hot tub never works and the office staff is horrible.
