*I'm a little late to the party on this news as I didn't want to push back the content I had scheduled earlier, but this the full announced line-up for the upcoming DLC in WWE 2K24!*

I'm not a big fan of how spread out the DLC Packs are this time but I do love the inclusion of who they have in them 💯 And I'm glad it's not full of an NXT roster that I will never use. However, I do wonder if WWE2K25 will be coming out at a later date next year since the last DLC Pack is in November.
The first and last packs are by far my favorites.

Before I get too hyped I have a feeling that they will release a throwback CM Punk
tbh man i been on X and seen a lot people not feeling the Pat McAfree pack for me i don’t mind playing Pat it’s just the cohost part honestly those spots could’ve gone to some stars in NXT and/or returning stars like Naomi and Andrade but hey that just me 🤷🏽♂️
My one issue with the dlc is having to wait until September 20 six & a half months after the games release to play as talents like Dragon Lee Carlito Kairi Sane & Jade Cargill. It’s great Punk made it in & is part of DLC pack one. But some of the gaps between packs is mind boggling
My assumption is august is when the wrestlemania bonus stuff will come out
isnt it odd/funny how punk was like the last to join but is the first to be dlc? lol.. i agree 100% especially when half these people have been in or around wwe for a year already. first dlc should always be strictly superstars who missed game release cutoff date. the last dlc's should be all the legends/randoms not actual talent when the new game will be rolling out within another 3 months after the final dlc
yea i have my fingers crossed for strictly new showcase matches "i was hoping they would add atleast 1 match in each pack or atleast have its own pack" but have to wait and see what they do, i know mania 40 is getting patched in so im assuming the only new matches we get will be from there.. most likely cody/roman seth/drew and maybe both womens@@mosermi443

Yes it's extremely embarrassing practice to make those characters DLC in the first place. It's just another way of them going "Look our game is still 60 bucks, but if you want everything you have to pay 100 bucks lol, but ITS STILL 60 BUCKS DW"

It helps you can use Michelle McCool's entrance for Layla's entrance however it bugs me how it probably won't have Layla as an announcer name as well as no Laycool entrance motion and I don't generally use Caw's because I know it isn't the real thing.

The fact they add wrestlers to dlc which we've already had in previous games is criminal.
NXT stars got shifted for Pat McAfee's cohosts... and they couldn't get any woman for the ecw pack.

The only person really missing is Naomi who only came back at the Rumble, but she was in 2K 22 so it is possible that she could be added from that game like Michin and Candice Lerae
pats pack should have came in November and 4 and 5 get moved up then you can trade co hosts for Naomi and Andrade and fill lin the remaining spots with either nxt or Legends or one of each then it would have been a better pack

The one news update that actually has me interested in this game. I actually like the fact that DLC is spread out so that the game doesn’t already become an after thought by summer
I hope it creates competition and forces AEW Fight Forever to up their game and try to offer things 2K24 doesn't.
For example, AEW FF should release DLC Packs in April, August and October, when WWE 2K24 don't have DLC.
I hope each one tries to one up each other, as the fans are the ones who win.
Happy with the lineup. Not really bothered about MacAfee's pack. Hope the My Faction stuff, now that can use them in other modes, gives us some nice alternate versions (Big Poppa Pump would be nice). Also, if Sandman gets his Metalica entrance that would be a nice bonus.

I honestly wish we got more NXT Stars like where's Lexis King, Lola Vice, Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, Von Wagner, Kiana James they honestly could have been in with Pat McAfee instead of his Co Hosts cuz what am I going to do with his Co Hosts? Also having to wait until September for people that honestly probably could have been on the base roster (Dragon Lee, Lyra Valkyria, Nia Jax and Carlito) is interesting I wish we got them sooner maybe swap release dates with the Pat McAfee pack
I rather have the McAfee Pack be deleted & replaced by the NXT stars you just named but also add Elektra Lopez, the 2 male members of MetaFour & a focused star like Naomi so it can be called The Feel The Glow Pack, making it a 10 playable pack. Also add Roger Stone as an extra manager. Im not going to even bother getting the 3rd pack unless the new moves are a must have, meaning it better have some Indi style moves like a shooting star elbow drop/leg drop.

Going on the topic of themes: The Post Malone & Friends pack has a strong theme of Music.
Post Malone - Not surprising
Sensational Sheri - A dancer type character
Headbangers - Headbanging and Rock/Metal is pretty synonymous with each other
Jimmy Hart - This one is a bit iffy but with the mega phone it could be seen as a music thing
Honkey Tonk Man - Based on Elvis Presley
Jimmy Hart was a musician before being involved with wrestling

You don't have to understand why there are such long periods of time between the DLC packs! Mr. Perfect, where many legend fans have been waiting for it, is now coming on Nov 13th! This is a shame!

I dislike that MetaFour, OTM, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan and some other are not in the DLC lack unless they will put these people in when they update the game
The devs will not add that many NXT stars in as downloadable content. I don’t see them adding the whole Meta 4 as a group .

The whole models a con. They have people paying out money all year every year for superstars they keep switching back and forth for on disc and DLC.

That fact that we get CM Punk in the first DLC pack is WILD. Very interesting that the DLC is spreaded out throughout the entire year, Honestly this might be the greatest Season Pass we have ever gotten 🔥

The 6th pack being in September is so weird ... that's almost towards the end of year and by then people will alr be anticipating for 2k25.
Lyra probably won't even be champion by then, and she should've been in the base game anyways. If anything, she should've been in the first DLC pack to make the roster feel updated since the NXT Champ is vacated in 2k24.

An interesting thought, maybe 2K releases rhings like previous attires for stars like Mcintyre and The Usos who've had different gimmicks to also keep the game fresh in the wait for DLC
I'm thinking they are gonna fill the gaps between DLC releases with MyFaction content. They probably see a major dropoff in play shortly after the last DLC comes out, so they are trying to keep players engaged in the game year-round.

I have a theory as to why the season pass starts in May: in April the Nightmare Family Pack and possibly the classic Bianca and Rhea characters will be released for everyone not just those who pre-ordered or have the Deluxe or 40 Years of WrestleMania editions and August is the release of the 40 Years of WrestleMania Pack which because it includes the WrestleMania 40 arenaxI believe is not available Day One at the WrestleMania 40 arena wouldnt be. Dont know why thier skipping October though. Really though I dont care about the release schedule it is what is. As long as I get what I paid for since I pre-ordered Deluxe I can wait. I mainly use DLC characters for moves anyway

Disappointed that we didn’t get nxt dlc pack and they didn’t even bother adding at least 1 female wrestlers in each pack. For the Ecw pack they should’ve added Kelly Kelly and for the wcw should’ve added madusa and for the mac pack should’ve added Naomi and elektra
I theorize that the reason why they are so spread out is that they are likely releasing 2K25 at a later date next year, as imo I feel like this year could be 2K’s last WWE game for PS4/Xbox One hardware as 2K themselves have stated that they initially planned on adding more features for this year but wasn’t able to.
I was just looking at the 1st pack and i noticed everyone in the 1st pack pretty much has all their moves already in the game so i wouldn't expect too many new moves. Likely just getting new entrances.

Why the hell would I want to play as pat McAfee s friends?? Cm punk returned around the same time as Kairi and Nia but we get then months later? Makes no sense. Not even Naomi. This dlc reveal has done it for me, won’t be buying on day 1. I’ll buy when it’s on sale.
Would be a cool concept if they added in new weapons with each pack even if it was just one with every pack like a barbed wire bat for the ecw pack or something

They want you to not get bored of the game so quickly and you can have something new throughout the year. Smart marketing on their end but it does suck to wait all this time to play as people who been active on the roster for some time

So michelle mccool was the womens championship because she famously had it split in half, the pearl necklace was for great muta aka pearl of the orient, i'm guessing the gymnist was meant for mr perfect or sensational sherri but I have no idea what of those names was the moon. I don't have a clue what the moon was about and i wish they'd explain it

They should definitely stick with the themed DLC packs. WCW, ECW, Attitude Era/Golden Era/Ruthless Aggression packs every year i would be very happy about.

I haven’t been able to play my DLC, I deleted so many old games so it can fit, it shows purchased, it’s fully downloaded and my DLC Characters don’t show up 😩

Strong selection, some great legends in there. Only negative sounds like the Pat McAfee pack, I couldn't careless about McAfee and have no idea who the heck his "co-hosts" even are.
I remember the good old days when you would get everything when you ordered a game.
Love that Punk is coming out in just a few months but having to wait until November For DDP and The Iron Sheik is disappointing
So far, the only pack that isn’t cutting it… is the Pat McAfee one.
I really hope that they can change their plans, because it’s not being received very well… by anyone.

The Pat Mcafee pack should have a mix of more wrestlers. Maybe one more celebrity with a connection to Wrestlemania. I know this won't happen, but I thought the clue with the female figure in the 80's style excercise suit that is next to a microphone with microphone stand could have been a clue for this pack. Wendi Richter and Cindy Lauper. If its just co hosts from his show, it would be a serious misstep. And a missed opportunity. Even if it was a playable Corey Graves that would be a step up. Other co-hosts in the history of the WWE who I would love to see, although totally unlikely, Jesse Ventura, Gorilla Monsoon, and Bobby Heenan.
With this news I might just wait and buy the game in November when all packs available. I wanna do an old school universe mode and the WCW pack will fit perfectly.
Or just wait for 25 by . Or just buy it when the hype is still up you can easily wait stop crying

Nor Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Elektra Lopez, Kiana James. The DLC is amazing still, but I think an NXT pack would be better to replace the Pat Pack. Keep Pat in there and disregard his co-hosts.

The fourth pack should realistically be the first one as it has a huge chance to be outdated by the time it comes out, any number of the people in it could get new gimmicks or end up injured by the time the dlc comes out. Seven months for current day roster members is absurd.

@@glenncross4987 I wasn't saying they should be removed from the dlc if they're injured, just that in the next seven months someone could get injured and be off tv by the time the dlc comes out. Two of the people in dlc 4 are also current champions, so it would also help the roster be more updated if they were the first dlc.
