Two years from now, brand new computer, full realism except from external view for eye candy only, Career mode and thing are going splendidly for me in this plane. Truly an amazing plane to fly
I've flown the Pup in RoF, and it is fantastic! In the right hands a skilled pilot could outfly an Albatross D.II,D. III probably even the Fokker DR. 1. Honestly I would prefer the Pup over the Camel but that is because of my combat tactics.
@lebarosky - a lot of the planes did suffer performance deterioration with the added weight of a second machine gun. Some pilots thought the added firepower was worth the deterioration in performance, others did not. On the Triple Entente (UK, France, Russia, Italy) side, there were shortages of Vickers guns, so that was another reason for many planes having only one.
I got the Aces edition just to get the pup. The game lagged worse that hell due to bad graphic card but I still enjoyed flying it until I went mad with lagg. Now I am saving up for the card needed so I can take my Pup "Apple" for a spin and confirm a few kills.
@lebarosky The troops on the ground needed all the machine guns they could get. They took priority. Also, one machine gun was more than enough to down the planes at the start of the war. Later in the war, when machine guns became available en masse, and more firepower was needed two guns became the norm. On some fighters like the Sopwith Dolphin they initially fitted four machine guns.

Looks like a marvel to fly and fight in.

3-wing version of the pub.
i also got a fokker d8 and both are very good and nice planes.
@b25e05n95
He was saying it was the plane that came from the Camel. Not calling it a camel

@MRoesterreicher1 The triplane is nice but as soon as someone gets a few shots into your wings, they fold up like paper mâché.
Wonder why they only mounted one gun perhaps the plane's performance suffered with two.
what is the music name please,
Beautiful!!
great video!
The 110mph top speed in level flight is for a 100hp engine.
@killerbanjo
He says the camel came from the pup, the camel was a later model.
Do you have a reference in where you get the info on the aircraft and it's pilots?
damn the last world war 1 game i plaied was red baron 3-d makes wish i had access to a full blown computer.
I'm getting into this game but I want a mission builder that isnt impossible to use like the one they gave us.
How high is sea level? Do you fly skimming above the sea to get sea level? I've never understood sea level.
@lebarosky

rise of flight
What is the speed of this plane if 9.8 its more faster than my favorite plane the A6m5b
The Camel was certainly not the most famous plane of WWI. Just think about the Fokker Dr. 1.
You pay money to buy this plane
COMPLICATED!!!!!!!!!
wat.
