Thanks for the tips cool stuff for sure but I guess you would have to have some thing that is similar to this shot to make it work 100% and of course in raw? Why I ask is cause I tried this on one of my own amateur clips shot in prores with the bmpcc and it did not works so good lol. Anyway thanks for the tips I learned stuff for sure.
I've already seen the whole process in FCPX on Vimeo adn it came good and straight forward to me. However I don't have Mac so I'll just buy some nvidia cuda gpu, install Resolve Lite and start to make something. Can I ask, is there any button in interface to make a new look version? I suppose you do it on Surface
I went in and spliced my track to make individual clips, now when i go in to color it, it is still applying one grade to each clip as opposed to seperatly. Is there an unlink button or option somewhere?
Curves are really useful in creating this effect. You can to a limited extent in FCP X and you can in Color because it supports curves.
Cross processing is one amazing technique! I used to do that on photos in GIMP. :)
The Lite Resolve version is a great place to start!
Great tutorial. Can't wait to try it out!
it does make for better grading when you have the time and the budget :)
You're welcome, thank you for commenting :)
Hey! The free gimp, I used to love using gimp.
Amazing effects! Great tutorial :)

If you're referring to DaVinci Resolve yes, it is free as the lite version :)

The same photochemical technique has also been applied to motion picture film stock.

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question, but can you recommend some good cameras?
