Well, he will live as long as there is place where one can hear his music. Just listened to him for the first time... what an amazing, top shelf player... RIP Peter Huttlinger.

Richard Chalgren it's a rather higher level of feeling of the music than of T. Emannuel

Thinking of my Great-Cousin Pete & his lovely Erin today on this Anniversary of his incredible Memorial.
I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times (I’m his Cousin Lilli’s daughter. My Mom is Jim & Shirley Walker’s oldest of 6 kids), but I’ll NEVER FORGET a magical night at a Family Reunion in 2008 when he played for so many beneath the clear, starry night sky with a Fire roaring in middle of us all; one big circle of Family connection & Love!
I’ll cherish that memory even more now that both my Grandma Shirley & Grandpa Jim are together again & enjoying keeping Pete company until we ALL meet again. 💜~Mandy

Just fabtastical playing every note is placed and played with deliberation, emotion, and mastery. It more then just knowing the notes, it how to get each one to tell the music that is the difference between technical mastery and a great artist.

Pete is so great, have seen and heard him many times at Winfield Fingerstyle Contest. Two years ago I got to be in the contest with him , such an honor. Thanks Pete for all the fantastic fingerstyle music. Hope to see you again in Winfield and please take care!!

I still can't control this flow of tears, my cousin Pete Huttlinger will forever live in my heart. i miss you Pete & I'm deeply sorry for the times we had disagreements. please give my love to your Mom my aunt Miz, and my parents your beloved uncle Frank and aunt Isabel, who only up there a year and half for your arrival, and your brother Carl there only barely two years.
I await my first time seeing you play in your perfectly healthy body with countless new PJ-Hut fans!
    untill then, cuz, Marc

Pete was a bit of a hero to me, having somewhat similar health problems. He, with Steve Krenz, motivated me to continue learning and playing. It's something to look forward to and helps one get through some of the bad days.
With his illness, it was amazing how Pete could be so positive, cheerful and energetic, simply inspirational.
I love the joke he told about his cardiologist, just before surgery. Asking his cardiologist, "Will I still be able to play the banjo after this surgery?" His cardiologist responds, "Let's hope not."
I bet Pete had a great influence on many. Peace be with you.

Hey, Music City Roots! It's Eleanor RIGBY, not Rigsby.

Pete was the Bach of guitar because of his technical talent and his excellent ear. I am blessed to have witnessed his greatness.

So sad to see this genius die well before his time. Strokes are completely preventable, they are heart attacks in the brain and they are 100% caused by a lifetime of eating cholesterol.

Not in this case. it was a congenital problem in his circulatory system.

Pete had many health issues, none from an unhealthy diet. You might research his life prior to snap judgements. cheers
