- Which characters should you buy? What are the best heroes in the game? What makes a good hero? I try and answer all of these questions in this video. Take note this is for the LAUNCH characters of Marvel Heroes Omega.
Kitty Pryde, Psylocke, and Scarlet are my 3 mains, pretty much min/maxed them..both Kitty and Psylocke being one of the most underrated characters.
Nice list too though man, I plan on doing the same but still need to get like 6 characters up to 60 as well as unlocking 4 more characters lol
Alldayanyday1 On The PS4 awesome! I'll be watching for your list. it's funny because my current main is punisher. I know he's not as strong as others but I just like playing him.
Steven I haven't played much of Punisher, heard he's great later on, I just got annoyed with him and wolverine starting up, should've leveled them up with the treasure room exploit lol, but I think my list will be different, it'll just be like a top 5 or 10 underrated characters since I think everyone has their own top tier list, but I think a lot of people may be on par with underrated characters (underrated as in not talked about or used as much but are extremely good still)
Steven I was actually surprises you put Kitty Pryde up on this list too tbh, but I do agree she's nasty af..I'm using my all phasing build, and her sig is hitting 1.5m per brutal and 900k per crit and about 600-700k non crit (8 hits), so her sig could potentially hit harder than blades sig, but blade gets his sig back faster.
only thing about both psylocke and kitty is that they're very gear dependent, especially psylocke
Alldayanyday1 On The PS4 I've been melting things with punisher but he's a little tougher than others. I know.kitty has a lot of ways to spec her and she is gear dependent.. but I know she can put out crazy damage and since she can phase she negates a lot of damage too. just an all around great underused character.
Steven Hey man, do you have a build for the punisher? Or do you already have a video on him thats rather updated?
Been playing for a couple years and Thor was the hero pack I bought with the game's launch on PC. He's still my favorite to this day.
My top 10 is Cyclops, Blade, Daredevil, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Iron fist, Hulk, Spiderman, Storm, and Scarlet Witch.
god i miss this game :( and my guild i used to clear red raids. still missing my black panther who got nearly everything possible on max
they need to bring this game back somehow,,,i would quit diablo 3 and final fantasy 14 just to play this full time.
Nova, Hidden little gem 200 splinters a ton of dps- idk why but he just kills groups
He's pretty amazing too. There's a great deal going on right now for 2000 gems that gives you Nova, Angela and Dr. Strange. One of the best deals out there right now. All 3 are awesome characters.
Nice video, Hulk and Thor are my top two favorite characters. Of course as of right now, I have both of them at level 60. I'm also working on Black Panther, and I'm looking forward to using Iceman. He's always been my favorite X-men character

Gaming With Deksam I really enjoy Iceman, as far as Black Panther goes, I haven't played him in awhile (Mostly focused on leveling Iceman), but I will be back to playing him. He's my next level 60 character.
great video and of the characters i have played out of your 10 i agree but i was shocked to not see squirrel girl here, tbh i thought she was a joke character until i played her and ran through the prologue the fastest and easiest with her as melee then started using the squirrels instead and never looked back, only been playing less than a week but the comic/fun aspect and witty background banter have me hooked cheers for the video its appreciated
john thompson she's very good too but I felt Angela was similar but also better. she's definitely a good character though.

I mostly use Phoenix, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Elektra and Psylocke. I guess it's apparent that the fandom came first, but all in all, they're solid characters. Nice list man.
IndigoPhoenix21 all fantastic choices. Now that Omega gear is out I'll have to make now top tier lists as Omega gear certainly changes the dynamic at Max level
Gaming With Deksam The Apocalypse gear makes Angela potentially the best current character, imo.
So far, I have liked just about every character except Black Panther and Moon Knight. For my game style - I had the most enjoyment playing Captain America - who, in my opinion, is pretty powerful also.

I'm really unsure. I think I'm going to play everything at Cosmic and see what happens on 30th with any hero changes. I'm loving She-Hulk right now and will probably do the same with Kitty. Still love my Thor but we shall see haha. Yourself?

So far my favorite is Rogue but Captain Marvel is dope too. Her photonic energy is crazy good.
Thanks For the list deksam! really helped me choose i just have one question Should i buy Doctor Strange with real money or should i collect eternity splinters? is collecting them going to take alot of time considering i have about 300 splinters ? hope you reply !
Pain Factor they have an awesome deal going on right now for 2000Gs where you get Dr. Strange, Nova and Angela all of which are good and you get their costumes too. I'd say do that (20 dollars) before the 30th and the deal goes away. If not, you can buy with shards but it'll take you about a week minimum to collect them from 0, if you have 300 you should be able to get the rest within a week of moderate playtime.

Don't buy it if you already have those characters, you'd just end up with getting the costumes for them, which are 950 each (for the time being, they will soon be locked into loot boxes come the 1st). It actually still comes out as a good deal IF you want the costumes. If not, it makes sense just to use eternity splinters to buy Dr. Strange.
Glad I picked Iceman he was my fav on MUA.
I've had 15 million bruts on the last hit of blades sig on PC, easily 25 million or so total with every hit included. Add in the fact that it pierces and hits multiple targets and you are looking at over 100 million on boss packs in midtown.
how do you feel about War machine? i brought his pack since he was the cheapest and I didn't want to invest too much into a new game. I've been playing mostly Angela and Star Lord. I really want to play Scarlet Witch and Ice Man.
Alexander Wisdom war machine is strong. I think the mix of melee and ranged kind of throws him off because his melee heat techniques are too stationary but he has several ranged builds that work really great.
Was this list in order? Iceman #1? I couldn't find RR in this vid either.
Rocket isn't on the list, and they aren't in any specific order as some characters are just better than others at certain things (single target, farming, summoning, etc.) Rocket is definitely one of the best and easiest characters to play and I'd interchange him with Dr. Strange if someone needs a good primary summoner, but as a versatile character including a summoner I felt Dr. Strange was more fun because his summons travel with you, are more varied and he has stronger burst as well as DoT.
Gaming With Deksam 6
Gaming With Deksam I currently do raids with a group of friends but also like to solo missions. I currently have a lvl 60 punisher, but love Daredevil and am considering starting to play as him. Any thoughts or recommendations?
Scott Blankenship daredevil is really strong but he takes time to learn to be truly effective. If you're a big fan of daredevil you can certainly make him work. There are plenty of characters that are really strong, it all depends on what you're looking for and which characters you really like.
day 2 for me. Nova is amazing, i also really like him as a comic hero
I recently started leveling up Star-lord and he dishes out lots of damage with his air gun and not to mention he can freeze the enemies also :)

Neat-o, thank you so much for replying :). In terms of Marvel Heroes 2016/Omega news and opinions it's really you, JayShockBlast and TonyBing who I go to. And Jay always goes on about how good Deadpool is, and how crap Colossus (as well as a few other characters) are. I'm both surprised and thankful you think otherwise :). BTW, you said you're "playing" Punisher and Iron Fist right now, but (based on all the characters you've played so far) who is your favourite (i.e. character that does the best damage, takes the most damage and survives, all rounder, most fun to play, etc.)? Thanks in advance ;).
Tolerable Aussie haha that's a tough one. I'm still kind of deciding on all of that. Mostly because depending on what I'm doing really changes what characters really work best. If I had to pick right now the one character with great damage, survivability and all around usefulness I'd say Angela. An ultimate nullifier on her with her guaranteed brutal strikes, movement powers, and confusion makes her really strong. The only reason I don't play her more is because she's so popular and I'm working on diversifying the crowd. :) and - Colossus is amazing.
Thoughts on Ultron? Just got him out of a random box. Haven't seen many people playing him :\
knightofhyrule730 unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure as he isn't on the console as of yet. You should check out jayshockblast or tonybings channels as well as they both specialize in the PC version more than I do.

He's definitely a great character too!
I main Ghost Rider he's great
Deadpool, Blade, Magik, Captain Marvel, Gambit, Nightcrawler are all 60's for me but I will say I've had the most fun using Deadpool and Magik, Magik is underrated I clear rooms easily with her and probably the fastest with her, Deadpool has the most fun moveset and I can just sword spin with him clear rooms and never take damage really. Blade does have the best Power in namesake tho.
Where would you rank Iron Man? Is he worth saving up for? If not, do you have an alternative for him?
beat cosmic with Hulk, Iceman, Scarlet Witch, Gambit and Iron-man....only characters I have thus far

Abyss Pwo rocket is so much fun, and really easy to play. he's my favorite summoner, but I think Dr. Strange does more burst damage. I would still go with rocket if you want an easy and fun summoner!
Steven im between him and scarlet, i know they ve different gameplay aproachs but i ve enjoy leveling them so much.. what do u recommend??

Scarlet is better if you plan on doing any farming (like for infinity points). Rocket is better if you really want a solid character for content like patrols and boss kills. Scarlet is pretty much a character you'll need to get at some point (as long as they don't nerf her) so you can farm points as quickly as possible.
I thought he was op when I tried him bc he was my 3rd character and from whom I used he is in top 3.

Is nightcrawler any good? I know his not on console versions of marvel heroes omega yet but I was just curious because his my favourite X-men

Erik McCurdy ant Man is currently the worst in the game in my opinion. His damage is low and energy cost too high. Moon knight is also lower on the list due to some abilities being too similar and his best builds requiring you to have low health. Captain marvel is an okay mid tier character but many find her lackluster to level up with. Wolverine is also a character most people hate at the early levels and pre cosmic he's very tough to use. After the cosmic trial with the right builds he's better, but out of the expensive characters he's the worst.
My Main is she-hulk and i Love her my absolute favorite. My Brother Plays cpt. Marvel. Andi i Tell you this Combo is epic. Tanking up front with shulkie while binary Hits the enemies whith photonic energy.. just awesome. Those two make a perfect Team!

Pedro Higueras beast is really strong but he takes a little more effort to play, he's really fun too!
I like how my first 15 or so characters I bought did not show up on the list except Iceman who I agree is top tier. Everyone I like I guess isn't as good as these. It didn't seem like u like the tanks or just think there not great bc all u talked about was dmg. Hulk, Ice Man, etc are tanky but other than that u just mentioned dmg stuff which is fine.
Flint Given correct, at the moment there really isn't any content that requires tanking, especially when invisibility catalysts, medallions and artifacts exist and make it unnecessary to take damage. I did mention hulks ability to tank though, using his anger as a backup.
No, I understand I did say u did mention Ice Man, Hulk, and I think She Hulk can be considered a tank as well. I guess other tanks like Colosses, War Machine, Iron Man, etc. r great in the game for the reasons u just pointed out.

Hi what's your opinion on wolverine as I have just started the game and have got him to like level 35 is he any good ? As he seems to do good single target dmg
I started with nova, and I thought he was pretty good. Until I got Scarlett witch. I think she's tougher than level 57 nova.... at level 13
AJ Hill she is I just got her to leave 51 today and she is still my favourite character my mains are scarlet witch, jean grey, storm and scarlet witch is the best after her I am going to do psylocke

HI Steven, great job here. I like the global explanations for each char as i am starting the game. Thus what would be a niec pick for beginners ? still one of those ? and which for top 3 for instance ? i saw red sorcerer was fun and easy, iceberg summons help a lot, but from lvl 1 ? thank you :)
Jeff khazou Iceman for sure for beginners. most characters on this list are good though. hulk is another solid choice as he's inexpensive.

Why no Cpt. America :( with my build atm I do only crit and my brutal strikes hit for over 600k. Signature dose like over 1.5m and his ultimate kills the boss at the end, but I have his ult maxed out sadly :(
Captain America is a good hero too! A lot of things factored into my decision ,such as how easy it is to learn the characters, and how easy it is when passing the Cosmic Trial. Cap is strong, but he takes longer to learn with his serum (or even if you remove serum) as opposed to the characters I picked. Your build sounds great though! It's good to hear there's great builds out there! I didn't even put the character I play the most on here even though he's very strong too.
Steven I have the talent were you remove serum but I can still cast 2x times the first to basic and strong skills.. I think is a bug atm, but its in my favore...I had a little bit of problem with him, must agree on cosmic trial but with the patriot taunt set on healing mode you can face tank everything

but what about Deadpool and Spider-man or Magik I heard those three are very powerful on the console version
doom8589 they all are, but for various reasons they would be in the top 20. Not because they are "worse". Mostly due to ease of use or inherent damage potential.
For me its:
1. Iceman - Best hero in the game.
2. She-Hulk - Great AOE melee and the Surprise Witness power is a great summon.
3. Scarlet Witch - Trash mob boss.

Shawn Aviles guaranteed brutal definitely make characters more fun to play and easier to spec. I could do a top 10 worst heroes but I think a lot of people wouldn't like my choices.

Shawn Aviles he's actually not bad. The only issue I had with him was his signature required a long channel time but apart from that he's probably in the late teens to early 20s on the list. There are plenty of worse characters.

Shawn Aviles they said they are actively balancing characters, but they royally screwed Ant-Man instead of fixing him and Gambit received a bad Nerf too. eventually they'll balance characters it's just tough to say whether it will help or hurt them.
I have around 500 splinters I was wondering if I should get Angela and Nova or blade? Which one of them do u think has the best dps in like groups of enemy
SaVaGe LeTHaL blade is the best single Target with his signature. Angela is a better choice for mid town and general content due to her confusion abilities. You can't go wrong between the two choices.

Batz130 you can get him as a drop if you have marvelous loot boxes, or earn enough marvelous essence to buy his costume if it's currently available at the essence vendor.

Jose Ubiles I have every character past the cosmic trial. He certainly has potential. He's not as powerful as some but he's a solid character with really amazing channeled damage. You can certainly make him powerful enough to stand with the stronger characters.
Best ways to get Eternity Shards? Seems like its gonna take forever to get enough to buy Ghost Rider, just started out and bought hulk with my starting 200 but its 750 for ghost rider and it seems i get 1 shard every 10 mins :/
JC4 it's on about a 6 minute countdown and you can get 1 to 6 per 6 minutes. There's no way to get any faster. If you buy any amount of G coins from the store you'll be able to get a login bonus of 5 extra splinters per day starting later this month. Unfortunately those are the only ways to get splinters.

in marvel ultimate valiance at max level he has a dodge ability that activates every time making him untouchable. i wish they put that in this game

What do you use for your relic and legendary item?
Tony Ambriz damn Spidey does some pretty huge aeo dmg, I build him with movement powers and gear with maximum amount of fighting, for relic I use wakanda and legendary I use Hermes winged sandals. He's pretty fragile, but he's too fast to be touched lol
What do you think about Daredevil I think he's pretty good and simple if you keep using sweeper with tornado kick with guaranteed brute strike chance
Matteo D'Agostini he has a lot of potential and I like him, but some people may find him tougher to use. Overall he's a great character that if geared right can do amazingly at end game.

Matteo D'Agostini focus on brutal damage and main attributes if you want to make his signature do insane damage. I've heard accounts of it hitting for more than 7 million damage which is enough to kill most bosses quickly, and you can reduce the cooldown for the signature to between 10 and 15 seconds.
Steven Thx a ton man I've been gearing up Blade the way you told me and I love Blade he's my main now I still need to farm xp for my legendary item but other than that he's amazing and I'm not changing anytime soon!

Ernesto Colon if you don't plan on leveling a lot of characters or you don't want the xp boost you don't need a lot of characters but you get a 10 percent xp boost per character up to 100%

Frank 610 Nova is very strong! these are just some of the top ones on the list, but Nova is a solid choice.

Draven yes, both local and online co-op can be done throughout the story.
do you know when we will be getting more characters?
Trent McCay they've confirmed at least one new character a month, black cat is confirmed as the next character after launch.

Hawkeye is alright. In comparison to others his damage is a little low, but he has a lot of utility which makes him really good in group settings. His stealth is good too. The thing I didn't like is his trick arrow mechanic while leveling up was not that fun to me. I was impressed with his ability to pass the cosmic trial so easily though, and having an inherent stealth is always good and always useful. For me personally he's lower on my list because I didn't enjoy his playstyle, but for those that play him a lot, they seem to really enjoy him.
how do you feel about iron man?
Jazzir Nesbitt Iron Man isn't bad. he has good mobility and somewhat okay damage. If you build him well he can be a great character for cosmic. He's certainly not the strongest but he's solid.
I have rocket and for my one of the best in the game
Magik is a good character too?

what about wolverine
Wolverine is a little harder to use, and not as much fun to level. At max level he gets pretty strong, if you can get him past cosmic (my build video can help) but overall there are easier characters that put out a lot of damage. Wolverine has good bleeds and decent brutal attacks... but he's not as easy as the characters on the list.

Hey I'm thinking about starting to play this game, I have 2 questions. 1 is this game free to play? 2nd can I play with Iceman without paying real money?
Maxwill it is free to play and you can earn in game currency called eternity splinters to purchase him, but it may take a couple weeks to earn enough to get him.
Oh okay thanks for answering .So how many hours of nonstop playing I need to get him? Couple of weeks is too general , I can play up to 5 hours per day :) . Also that means there is no other way to get him?I can't start playing this game with him, correct?
Maxwill no not unless you buy him with real money. You get anywhere from 1-5 splinters every 6 minutes so it varies depending on your drops. You can download and use daredevil for free so you don't have to spend any on a starting character, that will decrease your time to get him in half.

paladin Luck yes, he's a great all around character. decent damage and a great way to get the flow of combat. His combo points may seem confusing at first but stick with him, he gets pretty good later on.
where would you rate magik?
Trent McCay she's definitely in the top 20. great summons but I feel rocket is a better summoner. both are great for survivability though!
Steven I got her just for her summoning ability, once every 5 minutes I can summon 10 creatures plus my near boss level dinosaur servent. I was really excited to get but was a little disappointed. any idea for the next character I should get?
Trent McCay definitely one off the list, if you like summoners, Dr. strange or rocket are great. it depends on the kind of character you want to play!

Trent McCay starlord is pretty good. not very mobile but can do pretty good damage.

Iceman is extremely broken. You can just sit back and freeze people for almost hours without taking damage.
Chris Lyon correct. but that's even after they fixed him. he used to freeze them even more often before the last couple patches.

She was alright. Not really my favorite play style, and leveling her wasn't as much fun as she ran out of energy very fast, but the trial was pretty easy with her.
Dead pool is my favourite

Yeah a few people have asked about Iron man, he's very versatile, decent damage too. If he's fun for you, he's absolutely a good choice.
Steven, is Gambit any good? How does he play?
Gambit isn't bad at all. He's got a lot of great movesets, and his signature is a really good channel ability. He's about in the same damage spectrum as Cyclops, but gambit also has an infinity attack while moving ability that knocks back enemies which is a perma crowd control and that can really come in handy for groups and also it's good just to stop enemies from attacking solo. I think if you're interested in him, he's certainly worth the buy.
I have been looking up builds. Do you have one you can post? Or suggestions?
Fistington III I have his cosmic trial build on my channel you can check out.(the build shows at the end of the video). I think tonybing (another UA-camr) also has a Gambit build. try those and see how you feel.

Which character does the most dps?
Holden Boeve that's not an easy question as at the high end many characters can get close and depending on brutal rolls and gear kill times will vary.. Burst dps, blade, hulk or Angela will be fantastic choices with blade having the highest single hit attack. Sustained DPS you can spec Storm , Iceman or Dr. Strange to get relatively in the same ballpark.
But I think iceman is the best😁
