Not to mention that Tadashi built Baymax for the purpose of helping people and protecting the sick and injured. It would go completely against Tadashi's wishes, and send Hiro down a path he could never crawl out of. A 13-14yo causing a murder would seriously mess him up for life, and he'd never forgive himself for something like that
I liked how Honey, who is the physically weakest of the team, but said to be the smartest and kindest, is the one to realise the only way to stop Baymax is to return Tadashi's chip, and that shot when you see her 'stopping' him with her hand on his 'heart'.
As the music begins to swell... you can't help but be on the edge of your seat and have that ugly lip poked out face of enjoyment!! One of my favorite instrumentals and possibly my favorite scene. Baymax tossing GoGo, Wasabi and Fred around like Tube men and woman. And Honey strategizing when to insert the health disk. This is 🔥 Henry Jackman is the man!!!
You know what, this song should be used for Spider-Man when he is in the black suit and he is about to kill someone. But he is trying to fight back in his mind. I would love to see that.
I would sooner mess with Gaston, Jafar, Scar, Ursula, Judge Claude Frollo, Shan Yu, and Dr. Facilier all at the same time than deal with a pissed-off Baymax. That robot was scary badass in destroy mode.
Each of them can be appeased, their cruelty sated if even only for a second. Baymax without his chip does not and will not offer such a possibility. For his enemies, he provides euthanasia for their distress.
When Hiro found out the truth, and when Yokai said "That was his mistake!" he was corrupted with revenge JUST LIKE him! He made Baymax evil and was no better than him wanting to destroy Krei for believing that he killed his daughter. But due to his friends, they restored Baymax and then Hiro left everyone and tried to make him evil again but due to purity of the healthcare chip/ Baymax's heart, he prevented him access and was able to cure the immense darkness in Hiro's heart by showing him how he was brought into the world by Tadashi and that he was so happy when he finally succeeded. The finale of the power of kindness used in the video was when Tadashi said "Oh man. Just wait until my brother sees you." Then his friends came back and he was about to apologize but Go Go hugged him in a heartfelt embrace before he could say a word and then the mission resumed.
This was the very sonic embodiment of Hiro's grief. Callaghan took Tadashi from him, so now Hiro had a target to focus his sorrow-induced rage on, but it was at the same time tragic, because Tadashi would never have wanted that and it wasn't who Hiro truly was, it was his grief just exploding outward. Expecially from 0:53 onward. Beautiful piece!
Best scene in the whole film. Hero being overpowered by his emotion and straight up sending Baymax to take a life is super powerful, and it’s perfectly reflected in how terrifying baymax is during the scene.
Callaghan should’ve said something like this to Hiro instead of insulting Tadashi “He went in there to save you!” “I didn’t know he was in there! Hiro, I’m sorry about Tadashi, I truly am, but this is bigger than you can understand. Now give me the mask.” This wouldn’t work but at least Hiro wouldn’t be trying to kill him
This should have played in Kingdom Hearts 3 when they brought the original Baymax back when he was being controlled by battle chip infused with darkness then it goes into the boss theme with Sora jumping on the other Baymax’s back

In 0:26 this is were you realize who she likes. In 0:34 you turn around and stare to your childhood friend. In 0:41 your other friend tells you what's wrong and why are you staring at him (your childhood friend) In 0:46 you say his name, you can pick whatever the names is but heres mine for example: Caden..... It's like you say his name in an emotional way because you realized something and it broke your heart. And so on, the music starts to get intense so you go towards him, and take note, your classmates are aware of your powers. But in 1:03 they (your classmates) realize what your gonna do to him (your childhood friend) In 1:13 this is were one of your friends grabs you and tries to push you away from him, but you're strong. And so on the music starts to get more intense and emotional, and I want you to imagine that all of your classmates are trying to get you away from him as he starts to run away from you. You are tearing up and your lazers (in your eyes) starts to charge up, like they are about to fking disintegrate this moron. They start to call your name and telling you to stop, but you won't listen, those voices starts to fade. 1:21 you start to push people away from you, like your removing dust on your body. And finally, in 1:32, you stopped, you realize that it isn't worth it, that it won't change anything. As the music fades away, you say I trusted you.....
