Jamie the squeaking and the water shooting into Sherpa's eyes is what turned Sherpa off to the new water fountain. It could also be that he's just to clever in his mind to play with such a toy. I once bought my granddaughter's cat a toy that popped up thinks through the holes in the top. She watched it a few times, got the pattern down and knocked each one out and that was the end of playing with that.
Then I bought her a toy that moved around on wheels that had a laser light that she was supposed to look at on the walls and chase! But she was more interested in catching the toy and throwing it on its side. That was a waste.
Animals are smart.

I got a ramp for our older fur babies and it took so so long to get them to use it. I was taught long ago it takes doing something 500 times for a dog to understand - I have found it takes allot not sure 500 times. I like how he will look at it but then walk away! Love and light to you and Sherpa!

I love Sherpy so much... it is hard to look for the moment... my 18 year old dog Kiara passed away Friday. And I am devastated... my heart is broken... so I hope Sherpa stays a long long time with you... and we can watch him for a long time...
