I recently 1v1 a cerato with the saber cat. I was the speed minus defense subspecies but I had defense buff hide equipped.
He got the suprise drop on me but I managed to kill them only dropping to half health. And it it was either the defense or balance subspecies.
It was good fight, I think ended up half dodge then hitting and half face tanking.

I feel like, due the size of the dinosaurs it plays with in PoT, Megalania gets underestimated a lot. People tend to forget that this thing was over 20 ft long, and hunted small elephants.

megalaina didnt hunt small elephants megalaina is australian it hunted giant short faced kangroos and diprotodon
@@dawnesavage4952 I could be mistaken, but I believe there is evidence to suggest that Megalania hunted the Indonesian dwarf elephant, Stegodon. I believe Megalania's range extended into the southern islands, where it could have and would have preyed upon the pygmy elephants.
Again, I could be wrong, but that's what I've heard in the past.

Turn radius is bad bc you went with the speed hide, it even tells you that you will lose turning radius with that hide. But as of now i think its last update removed speed and def hide for adjustment.

Actually funnily enough we do, Aborigines have such a well detailed oral history that they have described prehistoric megafauna with such incredible detail they are considered a quite credible source.

Smilodon is actually pretty good in a 1v1 with a megalania, as the faster animal usually wins to ride their tails. I won a 1v1 against a sarco while being solo
That's just a bad sarco player
yeah tht may be the case, but Smilodon never got to be an apex predator back in it's by tickling it's prey which tbh is what they have them doing with that %5 damage on a sarco.... I bet you it took all of an hour and a half just to get your opponent to %50 HP 🤣
