I had the same thought about the marathon runner hide. I only tried it because someone I grouped up with recommended it. The speed and turnrate gain you get from that on land far outweighs the negatives, since Quetz really does 90% of its combat while grounded. The speed loss is hardly noticable. The stamina loss is a bit more harsh, but if you know how to fly this thing you can still cross the map with maybe one stamina break.
Marathon runner is absolutely good for quetz. It really only uses flight for quick getaways. Its combat is done on the ground 90% of the time, so marathon runner is helpful for it in that regard.
I'm glad he's back we need more uploads.

that's why i don't play this game anymore...corpse blocking, mixpacking and when u hunt something there's always a group/friends around so alone you can't do shit XD
There are community servers which fix your issues with corpse guarding and mixpacking. On official servers however, moxpacking is encouraged. As for corpse guarding, if you score a kill but the herd defends the kill, it is no longer a successful kill, as such, wait for the herd of pack to leave or keep fighting
