      what is hapticity?

    • @Youtubewatcher90378
      @Youtubewatcher90378 Рік тому +1

      I think they intended to describe how hands-on it is, maybe describing how “haptic” it is. Hapticity I’ve heard of only in chemistry and only once or twice.

      Tactility is a more common word that describes *probably* the same concept you’re trying to get to. I say probably cause I’m not a mind reader so if you don’t think it’s the right word then that’s totally fine 👍 just playing thesaurus over here lol

    This was such a delightful process to watch and you did such a marvelous job! Love the organic shapes in your work and your handwriting. Also, super cool on the stapler hack! I always used the edge of a box and saddled the booklet on the corner, but I'm not very coordinated with it so I often had to restaple!

Just wanted to update you because I recently found one of these zine copies (it's from a few years ago, so I didn't have many left), and I thought you might be happy to know that I actually did write in the zine that the story is from the Kuba of Central Africa. On the finished zine page, 'Africa' has a star (*) next to it, and there are more specifics that credit the Kuba on that page. I was happy to find that it was there after all ^^

      I'm sorry you don't have one near you! I hope you can try one in the near future, or maybe during your travels. The first time I ever tried riso was on a trip to Japan in 2016!

      @KelBelter Thank you. I'm trying to mimic the riso effect in Ps and then print it with my regular inkjet printer. A rentable studio for all artists who need it is such a good idea. I hope more cities will implement this.

    I really love this zine the illustration and the screen printed cover are so cool. ALso this vid also got me into riso printing. I am working on a zine now and I was wondering how you got your illustration onto a zine format? I'm working on my indivvidual pages in illustrator and am expecting to photshop but the quality degrades so much. All help would be appreciated!!

      @@KelBelter Thanks for the info. On a more important note, I recently stumbled upon your channel and instantly became a huge fan. Not only is your work fun and inspiring, but your video style and personality are really enjoyable to watch too. I've been binging all your videos and am really looking forward to future ones. Keep up the awesome work!
      To make a suggestion: It would have been fun to see an updated "updating my portfolio" type video as I see you're using Cargo now. Cargo is really cool, but I find it sort of headache-inducing. It would have been interesting and informative to see how you went about creating your site on that platform.

      @@KelBelter That's exciting to hear! To the extent in which it's possible, I would really appreciate seeing as much of the nitty gritty formatting of the page through cargo as you think would be appropriate for the video (if you do end up making it). Thanks again for your hard work with making these videos and art for our enjoyment. 🙇🏼‍♂
