My Gentle Lady ARF being hoisted into the air by a modified COX Golden Bee .049 engine, first attempt was too rich had to land and lean it out before being able to climb out, and a missed hand catch at the end of the flight...Flying at our local club home of the Cocalico Prop Busters

I'm convinced there's just about always thermals coming up off that ridge / creek bed that's beyond the dirt road to the east of the field. At 2:07 - 2:08 you're looking right toward it. I usually catch weird turbulence on landing approaches or when I make low passes over that area.
