About 35 years ago I had a pair of boots I loved enough to keep restoring. I feel deep nostalgia over those boots! AND the craftsmen that restored them. You just don't find this caliber of work much anymore. Great to watch 😊
Well, you inspired me to polish my Asos chelsea boots. They were in a good condition, since I get them professionally restored about once a year (they change the heel rubber and dye them black again) and I polish them myself in between, but still needed some love. I brushed them, cleaned them with a wet rug, dried them and dyed them black with a round watercolour brush and some store-bought shoe dye. Now I am torn. Should I condition them with some hand-lotion (I don't have a shoe conditioner in hand) or should I just proceed with my black shoe-paste? Anyway, I enjoy taking care of my things and also watching your videos. If I was near you I would love you to restore a pair of miu-miu ballets I bought ages ago. Keep up the good work!
Can you make a full restoration video of the vans fear of god mountain edition? It’s a real challenge because of how easy the red suede can bleed and i would love to use that vid (if you actually make it) as an instruction!!!! Much love 🔥🔥🔥

It’s usually done on all the high end dress shoes so the sharp corner doesn’t snag/damage the suit pants
