Hopefully Liberty City Including "Upstate Liberty" Los Santos San Fierro Las Venturas Cayo Perico Carcer City & North Yankton Will Be in GTA 6 For Online 🥲🙏🏻
It will be similar to the guarma in RDR 2, in which we will be for the duration of the plot of a certain chapter

2002-2009, technology and real life was at a perfect balance
Nah, it was the early embers of a surveillance state post-9/11. A surveillance state in the West which has been further reinforced post-COVID-19.
nah, technology didn't cooperate between each year, dozens cables and plugs, almost nothing wireless.

One of the reasons why I love GTA IV and it's original graphics so much is because It's like a time capsule of 2000's New York. The last time I visited New York was in late 2000's so I'll always remember NYC looking like that.
GTA IV made me fall in love with the metropolis of nyc there was no game with this vibe. Of feeling surrounded by strangers who are somehow familiar, the roaming part, the characters and friends that niko had, they'll never have an era like 2008 again sadly.
I genuinely dislike how the GTA IV theme is being used so frequently on reels and tiktoks these days. These cheap videos don't really deserve an expensive song put in them it's a masterpiece they're borrowing it's credibility
@@amartyapanditThis. The Chad memes with the GTA 4 theme in the background missed the message it was trying to bring. Niko wasn't Chad Thundercock, he was just a guy who picked up a particular set of skills. The skills that were necessary at the time to survive in the condition that he was presented in, he's human just like all of us, he did what he had to do to survive, things that he never wanted to do in the first place but had no choice.
He tries to leave that life behind in Yugoslavia but his past follows him wherever he goes, hurting those he loves in the process. Everyday he's fighting for the "American Dream" but it's all bullshit and Niko at the end of the game realizes this. And that's what makes him my favorite GTA protagonist.
I live in Ireland Same i was on Holiday/Vacation there in 2007 befor IV came out in 2008 and it was perfect and even watched the gta4 trailer on a TV in a vidoegame shop in queens and yeah this will alwsy be my NYC, maybe thats why I still Love Gta4
I was born in 2000 so this period of NYC is my permanent memory of it. Before the new WTC, and the US was in a transition. The iPhone was just being introduced, and Primetime on Cartoon Network was the best block of TV.
Why does 2008 feel like an alternate universe
It looks like the present but at same time it doesn't

I have noticed something super disturbing about Liberty City:
While New York is known for extreme traffic and shittons of people, Liberty City has almost no traffic and the streets are rather clean and walkable, as well as the subways despite being dirty, is vacant.
Thats because they couldnt fit many npc without the game glitching, also the streats are rather dirty
In the pc version, in the graphics setting there is an option called vehicle density. This allows you to set how many npc cars spawn in traffic. However, you should be careful as increasing the vehicle density can negatively impact FPS and PC performance.
GTA V has this feature too in the pc version but it is called population density in that game.
Naturally, as you walk or drive like a normal person, more NPCs and vehicles will appear.
Not really disturbing. I'd prefer if real life NYC we're like that too. Way too much traffic and crowds.
Remember that liberty city is a island by itself there will be far less people living there
This really fits it, perfection.
Though I'm kinda worried about future cars being only electric and driving everywhere around, I will miss this class of iconic cars like taxi ford crown victoria etc.
The world doenst have enough natural resources for that, and the future is the hybrid cars, cuz they have more torque and fuel eficience. I doubt the combustion cars will disappear.
Electric will flop.
"So this is what the dream feels like? This is the victory we longed for."

0:47 hold on look there, gta IV!
The first time I went to NYC was back in the late 2000s and I started playing GTA 4 around 2011, and to me the game captured the city perfectly. I occasionally go to the city every once in a while these days, but last year I actually spent an entire day there for the first time in a while and it just felt so different than it used to be.
You can't even tell the difference lmao. welcome to the video game!
I went NY in ‘09 and ‘10, this is how I like to remember it. Still can’t believe the way Times Square is now
With GTA 6 taking place in Vice City, it’s looking like another 10 or so years before we’re back in liberty city

Gotta appreciate Rockstar games for making such detailed city even for 2008 game when I visit the Star Junction it really feels like I'm walking through times square, bill boards and taxis and movie ads while aren't exact replica but gives same exact vibes
