Poker question. When you lost to the runner runner flush. Didn’t the guy muck his card by the way he threw his cards in face down? Or because he called he had to show his cards regardless?
I couldn't hear the call but I sure thought he mucked his hand too. I guess her microphone didn't pick up the call or I had the volume too low to hear it.
I agree, he mucked and the hand should have been dead but in a tournament, if there is no more action, all cards are shown face up.
Dealer flipped over the cards. Not cool. Call the floor
In the tournament when both players are all in, (it's clear that the player called her all in) the player or the dealer has to show both cards before the dealer starts flipping the remaining community cards.
@@Djr85it’s a tournament, any time there’s an all in and a call, all hands have to be exposed and they’re live. 100% standard ruling, no questions asked.
On the AQ hand, it’s tough to call off your tournament on the river unless you have something close to the nuts. However, deconstructing the hand street by street, I think he bluffed you.
I have the results from WSOP CE I played in over the weekend. Out of 145 entrants I finished 36th unfortunately top 22 cashed, BUT I got 1 bounty ($500). This event was the highroller that I got to free entry.
In other news, the bar league I play in is associated (affiliated?) with the free poker network. I've qualified for their big tournament at the end of May in Vegas at the Golden Nugget!

I know the tournament rule but anytime some throws their cards face down towards the muck that hand should be dead and not be able to be turned over

I think the k9 hand you need to be careful with the phone, how comfortable you are relaying how the hand played out to the phone shows huge strength, he folds anything there other than the one straight you can beat.

No way he limped with aces. I’m not buying that at all. I think he had the same hand as you. AQ.
Even though he called and he threw his hand in, that was definitely a muck! He surrendered the hand and the dealer should NEVER open cards for a player. At minimum, the floor should be called and make that decision. I know it seems like a crazy detail but I think that would be the right thing for the dealer to do.
I dont think he had AAs. He had A5 or he bluffed you for sure.
The AQ hand, I’d bet my last dollar on A5 suited. Sorry bad beat but good fold! In tournaments it’s important to just stay alive. You’ll get it back! GL Lexi!

I would love to know what was going on from the time in the video at 20.26 minutes in until that last hand where you went all in with jj. It seems like you had built back up at the 20.26 mark but then you were all in with the jj for a lot less than what you had at the 20.26 mark. It would be helpful to get a spin on what hands you were playing then or how the chips got lower. I find myself in that situation and I'm not exactly sure why. It could just have been that the blinds just caught you?

Just a thought if he limped with AA gets 2 calls then you raise why would he just cold call with 2 people to act behind him. If he was setting a trap I would think he adleast 3bet because you were only one he had pos on. I may be wrong but if he limped AA gets to2 calls then a raise its a wet dream to 3 bet

I think When he raised you on flop, he either had KQ or Kx of diamonds and then binked a King on the turn w/ showdown value so he just checked back (checked with two pair now to entice a bluff from you on the river in case you had a hand like AA). Then with the Full house on river he went for full value hoping you'd call with your Q. No one limps with aces and only calls a raise. Why not go for value there??? You're in the small blind and knows you would have a big hand...makes no sense and you could well have a King in your range. He lied his arse off

He definitely didn’t have AA’s but he supposed to tell you that he had AA’s just bc if y’all was ever to get heads up again you know he’s capable of bluffing. That type of info can be pivotal. Just like the professional poker player said you were supposed to call it off. I believe he has at the most 88’s 77’s or 66’s. To take all the pressure off you in that spot, once he raise your C-bet you just shudda jammed with top top. Learned to overcome the monsters under the bed syndrome. Great Vlog nevertheless.
