Gratitude having Garret and Nicole on the show.. Thank you Nicole for the courage to talk about your experience, the effects of PTSD, and (all of you) the need to be aware of safety in extreme situations… being aware, listening, and thinking critically are lessons that are necessary for (ourselves and others) staying alive. Mahalo 🙏
Big wave surfers are on another level. "100 Foot Wave" has been in my queue to watch for too long, but is now a priority after listening to the McNamaras. Another delightful episode. Love all the surf stories. Thank you.
Just got done skating terribly but seeing real progress compared to a few days ago. Seeing this podcast pop up is a great way to feel my heart rate cool down and feel accomplished in my progression.
Guest idea: the guys from NOFX. The band is ending too. How many epic skate sessions have we all had where there was at least one NOFX song if not a whole album.
Damn, I surf and skate, but the part of this podcast that I related to the most was when Tony said he scrolls meme's to keep speaking his kids language... "I'm bussin". 🤣
This was another awesome ep, congrats 👏 Another amazing waterman that'd make an unreal guest is Mike Stewart. Multiple bodysurfing & bodyboarding world champion.
Awesome podcast. Wonder if they ever had a skate rock podcast with like bands JFA, Stale Phish, The Faction, The Fastplants, Loud Ones, Agent Orange, Revolution Mother, RattBlack, Monster Trux, Duane Peters and the Hunn, Urethane, etc. Would be cool to see .
Garett if you see this, I worked on the Child’s Play documentary where you surfed the glacier waves in Alaska. Sorry about the bad trailer premiere at your party, I wasn’t the one that edited that POS together 😂
reminds me of a time I was skating in a demo with you. Tony in Antioch Tennessee and I had your bread box board that was square on both ends and before the demo I took a jigsaw and made my own nose for it and I was standing beside you and right before I dropped in you asked me is that my board and I was like yeah and you were like cool!! I will always remember that you were super cool about that
Wow! His wife was so understanding and loving in their early years. My last wife, recent fiance immediately gave up on me. Giving up on a powerful enenergy, just makes no sense go me. I'm done trying to find love
How do you feel about Stefan Janoski?? I just watched a recent vice special they put out on him and the title is " How Stefan Janoski became the world's most successful skateboarder " now anyone commenting on this video I want to know your opinion about it but I also want to know Tony's and Jason's opinion on this matter.. I just searched every single episode of hawk versus wolf and Stefan Janoski has never been on the show but vice is saying he's the world's most successful skateboarder and again haven't seen him on the podcast I would like to see him on here... I haven't seen him do anything against Rodney Mullen or Tony Hawk or anything so I want to know why voice is saying that he's the world's most successful skateboarder I mean I watched the video I know why but I want to know why from real skaters.
We need to get some bikers and snowboarders as well r.i.p to Dave Mirra too bad he can't be on here I would have loved to seen the two goats together... Matt Hoffman would be a great guest he's another goat of BMX, Shaun white (the real Shaun White lol) we need Bob bergquist on here, Stefan Janoski (because I want you to pick his brain and I want to get the real answer of why they are calling him the most successful skater in history) and nyjah huston
Jason making riding monster jokes at the start, then later Garrett 20:07 said he hadn't been pounded yet & Jason didn't pipe in with a double entendre?!? C'mon man get it together!!
In the name of all SKATE GODS, can I be on your Show. (Pro Bush-Gardens , Knotts Berry Farm ,,, "It's 12'oClock Wind-Up Park, RollerBlading Vert Show".. ) I ran as Aryan Buckles for all three shows.. I think I got Jason's Number at one of the events. Alot Has Changed. (smiles) #DC*bitches #SMILES #YOUrSKATEgods #IenjoiTheshow #GB

It's nice to hear from these big wave riders. Even as a skater I can't imagine trying what they do.

Maybe You can think of inviting Bill Brian the Goat of skimboarding along with Brad Domke
Did anyone film Tony's first McTwist after the recovery? They did a WHOLE Berrics episode on his first kickflip after recovery. No McTwist vid?
Wow! His wife was so understanding and loving in their early years. My last wife, recent fiance immediately gave up on me. Giving up on a powerful enenergy, just makes no sense go me. I'm done trying to find love
