Man my favorite pods are the ones where you can tell its two best friends hanging out. Obviously this is one of them.
❤️
Jason pulling his eyebrows back and asking if it’s better reminds me of Men In Black when the alien has the farmers skin suit on. “Is that better?” 😂😂
The Edgar suit
Honestly click on these episodes faster than the ones with guests.
Fact’s honestly the only episodes that beat these ones are the Rodney ones lol I love when they have genuine conversations! The vibe and the friendship they have is truly a blessing!
Only way to make it better is to just go back in tony's office at his table. I love the cheapness that it felt. 😅
Ellis, you look 10yrs younger than you've looked at other times. Hope you're feeling as good as you look mate
Prob bc he fully shaved too. And sobriety. He looks great !! I'd hit it, you know he's a freak in the bedroom 😂
Getting rid of the bangers and mash helps
im like 8 years younger than tony but i look 20 years older lol probably all the steel i had to hang
@@chrhaddenand you don’t have millions to invest in your looks. Respect to you, dawg!
@@ordinarypete lots of cold ass winters and baking like a potato in a jungle without shade lol
hands down, this was my favorite episode yet. the look on Jason's face when Tony called him a warlord was priceless 😁
I teared up! That was a moment!
“My son is 31” “that didn’t help at allllll” lolol
The friendship you guys have and the affection you have for each other warms my heart truly. Much love🤘🤘
❤️
Yall need to have more one on one pods. I love the best friend aspect of this show, yall laugh way more.
Jace you dont need any eye surgery, and im glad to hear you're killing it at the comedy store. Life has gotten so much better for you and im always rooting for the wolf to win
So glad we have this podcast. Couldn’t think of two more genuine people in skateboarding.
Honestly, I've been listening to this podcast since day one and there is nothing more refreshing than just some hawk on wolf content!
DUDES! Around the 1 hour mark, you guys brought tears to my eyes. Effing beautiful! You both are so inspirational. I'm in my late 40's, couldn't skate if my life depended on it, nevertheless I have been a lifelong fan. Love from Ontario, Canada
❤️
Such a wholesome episode
Full on. NECTAR
I'm not a skater but one of my brothers was semi pro had sponsors and everything super "techy" guy. Anyways his worst slam imo was once he was hitting a speedwall and the coping somehow made him lose it he fell straight down to the bottom and LITERALLY broke his face. Was skating less than a month later, absolute savage.
whats his name?
@graxjpg Ryan Rowley. The board company he was with is called "Skate Crime" based out of Oregon.
@@jproper i was able to find some stuff on youtube here, hes sick as fuck!
@graxjpg Thanks, man. I'm sure he'd appreciate you saying that. I know Im proud as hell of him . Doing MMA now so you might see some of his bouts also. (he's 2-1 rn)
What’s a speedwall?
I don’t know why but this episode hit me on so many levels. Spots where I had to pause it and reflect; because shit was getting gnarly relatable. ❤
❤️
Honestly, when the ads come up, it’s like looking at a different Jason. Your fresh as man.
This reminds me of when I originally stumbled on to Jason's radio show. I love to hear an old guy talk about the same crap I'm going through. I'm not an extreme athlete by any sense of the word but I've taken a bunch of falls because I live in NH, and there's a million ways to fall down
My relationship between my homie of 21+ years reminds me of yall. One that's "made it" and the other that's trying to make it.
We go through the same hardships but see them through a different lense.
Same same, but different.
Is the same same a reference to “the interview”? Lol
Just have to say thanks Tony for finding the old footage we really appreciate, and thanks to Jason for bringing it up🤘
At 25 Im an old soul. Made me happy to hear a Death Becomes Her reference , hell yeah
What a great episode ❤ We all feel like giving up, and it is cool that we persevere
Love when they show old footage! 👌🏻
An 11 year old girl giving two titans trouble in a game of S.K.A.T.E. brings a smile to my face. There are so many good moments here. 21:51 🤣
Thanks for letting us laugh along with you.
Thank you Jason and Tony, absolute Kings! Love how it isnt all moneytalks like Nine Club came to be. Some shade to them intended lol...
I was watching mall cop and i just realized Jason and Mike V we're the skateboarders that take over the mall lol thats cool.
Tony and Jason were both in Bam Margera's movie Haggard. Small parts, but they killed it. Tony plays a cop. Jason plays Cactus at Record Bin. Great flick.
Man Ellis , you’re fucking great man. A man after my own heart, will not leave this gig ever because he gets to sit and talk to his friend and some other randos and maybe some $. I started skating when birdman looked like a skinny lesbian and Mullen looked liked he had a medical condition with all those pads. Man, that was and still is the best. Thanks for all the kick flips
Tony reminding Jason that Riley is 31 and Jason saying "that didn't help at all" was too funny 🤣
Also at almost an hour in when Tony tells Jason he's a warlord you can see the Emotion in Jason's response and it's so fucking wholesome. I hope when I'm in my fifties I get to share a moment like that with one of my mates.
Another Great Morning Thanks To Hawk VS Wolf -Hells- Yeah. Let's GOOOOO!!!
💯💪🏽💯
Jason Ellis was talking about that knee slide straighten your leg hip bail. Mike Frazier has to do the exact same thing.
I was working the RAN when I was first introduced to TIM TAMS. My first trip back to the states I bought a bunch of packs at Woolys and brought them to my family. They loved them. I every time I came home to SD I loaded up and brought them more.
i had those airwalk 86 lows from that ad, but i had the green/black ones. so sick
THE STOKE IS REAL
I have never felt more seen maybe ever than the first 15-20 mins of this.
❤️
Question for you guys- and maybe Jason had some.. snowboarding, I always wore wrist guards, but finding decent knee pads for snowboarding I unless I wore super baggy pants, was a challenge. So I always keep my eyes out for how other sports utilize gear. I remember hearing about these pads when I was learning motorcross. Supposedly, they were a gel and super comfortable and slim, but upon impact would provide the absorption needed to protect the bone/joint. So gel that hardens upon impact allowing a slimmer more comfortable and more agile fit under or over the pants.. shoot- one could have a zipper that goes knee length in case of an adjustment need. I wonder if some chemists and physicists would have some insight.. anyway- gratitude for all that you guys do - it really means a lot
Thank you guys, been loving your stuff for 20 years. Good times. 🙏
Thanks for listening ❤️
Listening to you guys bro down is the dopest shit. As an Aussie skater Jason was god to me and Hawk too(even though I am a Bob fanboy). It's the coolest shit ever.
If there was an award for podcast of the year, this show would be a lock.
Great job keeping everything the same volume. Appreciated
Ellis shouting out Bluechew like he's in an NBA postgame, "I'd like to thank God, everyone involved"😂😂😂
This had me rolling so glad I found this podcast.
❤️
Favorite podcast for vert skating❤

More interviews with Tony Hawk.
Great pod Once again gonna put the word out get Andy Roy on the show I think it would be entertaining
I love how on the ad reads, Tony is like trying to atleast face the camera whilst looking off to the side for the lines, but Jason is just full on fuck it, I'm looking at the shit I'm reading.
Also I'm sure you guys get this way too much but, I'd love to see you two with Mat Hoffman, to us BMX folk that'd be a great episode! plus I do love listening to/being a part of conversations between BMXers and Skaters about bmx and skating.
PLEASE GET JASON ON THE H3 PODCAST BACHELOR SERIES!!!
Ohhhh i like the new couch.
Jason you should check out the dieux reusable eye masks before committing to surgery
We have to see footage of that game of skate
Thanks so much y’all!
❤️
Documentary about Tony's leg recovery? Release date?
Man, I don't drink or do drugs!!! I smoke erb and take mushrooms, natural plants. I also work out every single day. I'm 42 years old and I am in the best shape of my life. Smoke erb and be healthy
Tony Hawk still the man. Jason is super funny too!!
Is a heel flip body virial a heel flip switch stance?
you guys are lucky you have your worst slams on video. i would totally watch mine. my friend and i were coming back home after skating off to the store and he got hit by a car. after his ankle was touching his ear and he was yelling for me. i had to grab him under his armpits and drag him out of the street while he was screaming in pain. we were 12 , i dont want to see that again. it is still running in my head now and again
Surprisingly good.
Bro! My mom was my influence with metal and punk rock 😂 im a 90s baby tho idk if that means much
Jason should consider dying his moustache blue or lilac. I think it’d look really cool.
That would be tough to be told important people are watching you do stand up before you go on to do a comedy set!! BIG W JASON
I love the episodes with just you guys. But I'd love, Love, LOVE to see Matt Hensley and and Andy Howell maybe, I don't know how recluse, if at all, that he might be. Aight then thanks!
Did you consult with Danny before going regarding results to expect etc?
Reese beat me in Skate at the Clairemont ramp 3x this past week 😂❤
She’s a SKATE monster 🔥
Can you guys get Gonz on this show? Or here’s another longshot: What about Steve Steadham?
🙏
Joe rogan gonna invite either both of em or jason bc of the comedy club
I gotta see your stand up one day
www.thejasonellis.com for shows mate!
Jason you are fing hilarious bro I’m dead
Great episode! For the algo!
I feel like the way skating demos need to be done eventually for the older generation of skaters, is as the risk of major bodily injury vastly outweighs the value of "showing" the trick that these guys need to start acting more like "Martial art Masters" where you have your "student" who is really the next generation of skater, coming with you to these demos and you go "ok now he'll show you a BS 540" or whatever trick you want the "student" to perform. again i'm saying student but its just the next generation of top of the heap pro skaters with these indescribably large bags of tricks and all this knowledge built on the foundation that the old guys provided them.
Ellis on doctor phil would be good at the comedy store
Tell Adam Ray!
need to get Miller on....and an episode w/ Blender

I like the show , just not cussing. Cussing really doesn't make it best. Cutting them out of did that you guys then i would watch all the shows and thumbs up them all.
Metallica badges? Patches, mate.
Andrew tate. Pals.
Could someone get Bam Margera on? It would be cool to hear some behind the scenes stories from the movie Haggard. Tony and Jason were both in it.
For real I would love that
Im sure hell be on at some point. They probably just dont want do exploit him during a vulnerable time. Also, Im sure they want a quality interview free from all the bs he talks about now. Bams getting better so hopefully soon
Fuck bam he aint right in the head
awsome show great two hear about all use's guy's success .... wicked cool back and forth great show
Jason I want that shirt you have on!!! Where can I get one?? ❤
@wolvknives www.notdeadyet.com
I think Jason discounts his mic experience too much. Talking shit your whole life. Being on the mic at X-Games and the tours with Tony. Doing radio for a looooong time. Imo, you were always funny and that experience lends to your rise as a standup comedian. I understand there are differences. But my dude, you need to embrace the fact that you are actually good at this thing and there are reasons why. You're funny. You're personable on the mic. People want you to make them laugh. Grab that shit and run with it dude. It doesn't need to take you ten years to be good because you have a lifetime of experience that you're drawing from.
❤️
NIGHTCLUB, high five Tony 👊 hell yes they're to late. I'm in bed before you'd even be heading to a nightclub
