I'm rewatching that movie rn on Tubi. And I realized I recognized his voice. He also did some work on Red Dead Redemption and Life is Strange. (Which is where I know him from. Absolutely excellent movie btw. This has got to be my 4th time watching it.

What is with that insane clipping? It is in the whole album (but especially bad in this song). I can't believe it was on purpose but also how do you not notice while recording?

teehundeart Oh that, yeah it does sound like that. I think they distorted his voice slightly.
@@natsaij.g1942 they didn't distort his voice. It' clipping, which happens when the master volume is to high, causing upper frequencies to be cut off.
Now i'm just wondering if it's on the master tape or just in the youtube version
teehundeart I’ve listened to the other versions and they sound the same as the UA-cam one. Perhaps the clipping is on purpose, maybe they wanted it sound that way. That or poor production.
