Must be nice to have that much space and the coins to take advantage of it. Congrats to Dan !!! That's quite the "little shed" he's going going up there !!! Is he going to put a lift in every stall so he can "stack" twice as many "toys" ??? That last Caddy was a 57 two door hardtop !!! 57 was truly an "icon" year for GM !!! That Caddy being one of the "gems" !!! See you Saturday !!!
Sad Bastard Olympic Gold Medal goes to the guy that can identify a Plymouth dash on 50 Dodge "plodge" Canada only car. Wow Scott, those are some epic non-transferable skills, not being harvested by any of the current AI systems. Cheers man. You pass the "not a robot" test forever!!
The late older Brother use to take me to the wreckers when I was a kid (mid to late 1960's) got to play hooky from school (Mom didn't mind, as long as he brought me back with most limbs intact) He carried the parts, I had to carry his tool box, both hands, snivelling all the way (I'm pretty sure it was 250lbs), but I got a ride in his flat black 55 Chev or his buddy's grey & white 56 Chev 210 wagon. No, it didn't have any affect on me at all.
This must be one of the coolest junkyards ever! When I was younger I might have set a tend up there and live there, only for the reason to admire the cars present. Even in this sad condition those Caddies still ooze Class and Beauty!
Can you imagine the pride and joy of those first Caddy owners when they walked into the dealership and put down the $$$ for the convertible sitting on the showroom floor? Sad to see as the years went by they ended up in the condition that the are now.
such a shame seeing all of those Caddys in that shape, like you said cant save them all. Looking foward to Saturdays show and all of it's action. see you Saturday.
Hi guys! Short one today... Agent 7678 and I went to the local wrecker to get some wheels... I had to show you guys these Cadillacs... Unfortunately they couldn't find buyers last year at an estate sale, so they ended up here... Thanks so much to everyone who ordered a 1937 Chevy shirt! They are being shipped now! Cheers from me and Miss Frankers! See you on Saturday for the SOS... Scott when it comes to rare Dodge cars in Canada the 1951 Mayfair 2 door hard top is extremely rare. I have one and i've never seen another one in the 14 years of looking after i got mine. Lots of cornets and belvaderes, but no Mayfairs. They are a Canadian only car with a 218 cid flat head. The 218 is also Canadian only. One other thing Scott I have some Atlas tire inserts that are from the early 70's made of sheet metal that I would like to send to you. they are a set of 5 but i need a PO box number to send them
Hey just a FYI. A SCRAPPER in Chicago called AUTO PARTS COTY GETS 30S. TO 60S AUTO WOTH PARTS STAINLESS TRIM ETC FENDERS THAT CAN BE USED CALLED AUTO. PARTS. CITY. CHICAGO he gleefully crushes these gems just for content, now has 55 Ford 4 door on site
I'm SUPER glad my shirt hasn't showed up yet, I would have been wearing it today when I got caught in some barb wire while trespassing to get a look at a Jeep forward control pickup. Better to rip my easily replaced HotWheels T than a brand new CWM Chev shirt
*Frankers* is a simple dog. She detects squirrels, she pursues squirrels - real or imagined. (Very impressive garaj mahal, Agent 7678!) - Ed on the Ridge
Scott, I've seen you perform some pretty incredible stuff. I am quite sure you could save some of those vehicles.......if you didn't already have too many projects!
YES YES THE JUNK YARD WHEN I WAS GROWING UP ON THE WEEKENDS I LIVED AT THE JUNK YARD IT WAS SMLL BUT PACKED AND THE ONER WAS REALLY COOL AND YES THE KAISER
Love the old cars. No matter what shape they're in. Scott has a fine collection. No, you can't save them all, especially when left to sit and rot in the junkyard.
FYI. THEY SHOULD HAVE THAT PLACE CALLED. ICON. ON THEIR SPEED DIAL....CHASSIS ARE USUALLY REPLACED BUT SHEETMETAL AND INTERIORS ARE REHABBED TO MODERN SPECS AND SOLD😊😊 FOR 100K...... GOOGLE ICON MOTORS
Brings me back to the days of foraging through Frank's Junk Yard on the outskirts of Detroit Lakes, MN in the 80's. So many great old cars, all gone now. Only modern stuff makes the money once his kids took over after he died.
I always loved doing "The Junkyard Crawl" back when yards would still allow you to. Looks like there was a shortie Henney Packard ambulance behind the '57 Coupe deVille. Thanx for taking us along for the ride, Scott.
Got the shipping notice on my TShirt a couple days ago! Thanks, Scott! Junk yards were a way of life for those of us in the old car hobby or those of us simply keeping our cars on the road. A lot of junk yard memories from over the many years. His new enormous garage will be the envy of many of us for sure!
I do love going through junkyards and have since I was a kid,on another note when I was younger I gradually watched a mid fifties Cadillac convertible set outside and deteriorate, first the top went away then the rest of it, such a waste 😢
Hello Scott, hope you’re all well. Was watching an old episode last night and you were talking about the elf stickers in the le car. Elf or “essence la France “, is a French oil company that worked with Renault on oils and fuel. I’d be surprised to see a Renault without the elf stickers. As I say, it was an old episode , probably worked it out by now. Any hoo, all the best from Liverpool
At least in the junkyard they aren’t being crushed and hopefully never will be. Some old car yards on Colorado’s Front Range are disappearing due to rising land values I.E. property taxes skyrocketing. Cheers from Denver
Always appreciate a good Junkyard tour/ crawl It's a shame some of those cars are there That 2nd 4dr post Cady Looks savable Chr!st !! Look at that massive garage Can't wait for my t shirt
Yes such a shame. There aren't any boneyards like that in my area anymore. North of Detroit. I remember yards like that back in the early 70's. Wow amazing building at Dan's ! That man has too much money. Can't wait to see it done though ! Till Saturday . Cheers 👊😎👍
Scott, very nice shorty! That garage is killer! I had a Caddy 4-door Fleetwood back in 66. She was a high mile smoker. If I had added DDT to my oil I could have fogged for mosquitos! Looking forward to my Chevy Tee and Saturday! Cheers!
Both painful and saddening to witness so many examples of the ‘Standard of the World’ in such a dismembered and disheveled state. But as a junkyard wanderer of many years myself, I know that ‘all good things come to their end’ and the same is true for these splendid machines. Thankful that you, Dan, and your fellow Agents are saving salvageable specimens one at a time while taking the rest of us along for the ride.
I was at a car show over this past weekend, and I saw a _sweet_ black '55 Coupe DeVille. I spoke to the owner and told him to watch Thursday's CWM. Another cool Harley Earl design is that red 1958 or 89 GM pickup that's in among the Cadillacs. (I also watch Classic Truck Rescue on YT ... the guy has acres of 1955-59 "Task Force" and "Blue Chip" trucks on his property in Mollala WA.)
Scott, Dan said it all. You can't save them all.
Cheers from Wisconsin
What a beautiful structure!
Garage envy! That’s going to be nice!
Junkyards are like museums, only you can take a souvenir from the exhibits.
Looking for 1964 Ford Fairlane
"And the graveyards of the rusted automobiles" -Arlo Guthrie, great video Scott and Frankers, All The Best from Somerset, England.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Woke up in Ireland to a Canadian junkyard crawl, nice:)
Made my Friday happier!
All the stories those cars could tell. I love those big Lincoln Town Cars and the Cadillacs.
Wish we still had yards like that to wander around in here in the UK.
Must be nice to have that much space and the coins to take advantage of it. Congrats to Dan !!! That's quite the "little shed" he's going going up there !!! Is he going to put a lift in every stall so he can "stack" twice as many "toys" ???

If I was there I'd be taking home a bunch of dashes.
Love me a junk yard, so interesting. And that new garage, looks like the new home for the Spruce Goose!
This must be one of the coolest junkyards ever! When I was younger I might have set a tend up there and live there, only for the reason to admire the cars present. Even in this sad condition those Caddies still ooze Class and Beauty!

I've spent many an afternoon at the junkyard. So much fun, like panning for gold and finding a nugget once and a while!
@coldwarmotors You need to go back for that blue Oldsmobile!
I think Dan could be talked into it. I mean, how cool would it be to have that blue 54 Olds parked beside his blue 53 Olds in his new garage?
What a garage!
Looks like Dan is going to win the summer garage challenge.
Somebody's pride and joy when new.
Mine is on the way! Thank you sir!
Absolutely loved that Wagoner !
Same, had a project '69 Wagoneer, regret selling that one more than any other car...
such a shame seeing all of those Caddys in that shape, like you said cant save them all. Looking foward to Saturdays show and all of it's action. see you Saturday.
Dan is NEVER out of room!!!!!
Dan just needed a little shed to keep his mower in.
Mine sits out in the snow all winter long and usually starts with one pull!😆
Wow! Dan's new garage is absolutely over-the-top! Cha-ching!!
Nice I'd like to see the kaiser running

Yup, absolutely looking forward to Saturday's show!
My '37 Chevy shirt arrived the other day! Yippee! Dean's Edsel needs to go on the next shirt.:) Scott can never have too many cars.:)
Junkyard tours are the best tours, whatever country you're in!
I'd love to buff out the Desoto. 50's colors are amazing.
That's just what you need, a Cadillac to class the place up some😊
Dan's gonna have a sweet garage! Looking forward to tomorrow's show!
Great junkyard tour. And that is a big garage. See you Saturday!
I'm SUPER glad my shirt hasn't showed up yet, I would have been wearing it today when I got caught in some barb wire while trespassing to get a look at a Jeep forward control pickup. Better to rip my easily replaced HotWheels T than a brand new CWM Chev shirt
Love. Junkyards. Tour. Always. Cool. Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
Not many yards with anything old these days near me. Thanks see ya Sat.
Love the "Cadillscrap" at the yard. Looks like a lot of hard to get odds and ends still on those crummy crates. Nice score on the stainless pieces
My dads first car was a 49 Cadillac. He always said it was the best car he ever owned. Your buddies garage is awesome!
That Olds had a better body than my Grandfathers 98 had in 1964. You know you could put an Olds V8 in the Kaiser like the factory was doing.
I should have said his was a 1954.
Cheers!
Thanks for the video.
Going through Junkyards is Great therapy, if you don't bring to many back. When you see Yards in Az. and Cali., then we get Sic! Go Frankers Go!
Love the junkyard tour! And looking forward to Saturdays show as usual 👍
My shirt arrived today--it is fabulous!
Nice ! @coldwarmotors, After that tour and your passion for these, you definitely need a Cadillac in your yard/fleet.

Very cool. Re the new shed. Doesn’t matter how big you make it, you’ll always wish it was bigger. 😀
Scott, I've seen you perform some pretty incredible stuff. I am quite sure you could save some of those vehicles.......if you didn't already have too many projects!
Hey I spotted a Lincoln. Dean needs that car!
Merci Scott and team !!!!!!!!!
High dollar cars then and now. If restorable. I used to frequent a couple yards like that. Long gone now. Going to be a really nice shop!
YES YES THE JUNK YARD WHEN I WAS GROWING UP ON THE WEEKENDS I LIVED AT THE JUNK YARD IT WAS SMLL BUT PACKED AND THE ONER WAS REALLY COOL AND YES THE KAISER
Those Cadillacs made me cry. Too far gone to save. You know that once they were someone’s pride and joy. So sad.
I love the quiet serenity of the junkyard. I can wander around them for hours exploring what was once someone's dream car.
A zen like experience. There...how about a drone overflights.
Love the old cars. No matter what shape they're in. Scott has a fine collection. No, you can't save them all, especially when left to sit and rot in the junkyard.

Thanks for the tour... see ya Saturday. Cheers from the shed
We need a Shed Tour in a future Randahl reel to reel!
Junkyards sometimes are heart breakers. Thanks for sharing!!
Nice!
That's a very solid looking shed in the making there.
Brings me back to the days of foraging through Frank's Junk Yard on the outskirts of Detroit Lakes, MN in the 80's. So many great old cars, all gone now. Only modern stuff makes the money once his kids took over after he died.

Had one of those Jeep wagons 20 years ago 360 T/ Flight in white camel trim pulled like a train . 👍✌️. Great tour Scott and Dan . Save the Mopars .
I love going to the junkyard thanks for sharing this today Scott very much looking forward to SATURDAY Cheers.👍🙂❤️
Jonathan W likes those Caddy flatty engines.
I don't even come across that many modern Cadillacs, let alone classics like that.
Looking forward to more on the Kaiser!
Hopefully some old Caddy will see the abundant number of Caddy Convertibles and buy them all and at least restore one to presentable condition.
Nice little shed,😂should be able to work all year long ,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
I do love going through junkyards and have since I was a kid,on another note when I was younger I gradually watched a mid fifties Cadillac convertible set outside and deteriorate, first the top went away then the rest of it, such a waste 😢
Hey Pa! They’re doin it again! They’re on
Junkyard's full of colder-war-motors. Graveyard cars! Sad!
Got my shirt the other day. Thanks . It turned fantastic
Love yard tours, but they are bittersweet. Hope Dan made the garage high enough so he can go two high with lifts……see you Saturday!
Thanks for making thursday evenings video

Thanks Scott, fascinating to see what's still out there in scrapyards.
You can never have too much garage

Bummer about the Caddys. You have definitely gone about and beyond saving all the classics that you have Scott. Cheers!
Got my 37 Chevy shirt, looks great. Thanks.
Glad you like it!
Love this channel! It’s the very best. Keep saving those junkers!
