2:00 - Indiana Jones where he throws the Nazi off the blimp, everyone stares at him and he's like "no ticket" and everyone starts waving it in his face LOL...
For me it's one of the movies that are ok but not good or bad. And also I don't see the problem with the animation except for the nerd kid and the coal workers
This might sound weird but I watched the movie when I was six and I actually loved it, it was genuinely one of my favorites, the character models didn't look weird to me, they were just different.
The book is amazing, the movie of course added all sorts of stuff to make it into a hour and a half movie….. the actual book has really beautiful art and is pretty straightforward. The moral of the story though is about the loss of innocence. At the end of the book he gets a bell from Santa’s sled. Whenever he gets stressed out as an adult he rings the bell and kept it for the rest of his life. Over time everyone in his life can’t hear it ring except for him. Kinda dark but beautiful. The book is really relaxing too, it was written to be a bed time Christmas story for children. Not Tom hanks bouncing around like he’s high, or the weird storyline about the ghost, or just the general weirdness of the movie. The conductor doesn’t barely speak. The hot chocolate is part of it but you know it’s just kids drinking hot chocolate looking at landscapes not all that other stuff. The train doesn’t almost crash it’s kinda ridiculous they padded it out like that. The North Pole part is even chaotic they just watch Santa take off while the elves cheer him on and Santa gives the main kid the bell. He loses it but finds it under the tree the next morning. They don’t mention throwing children off the train for not having a ticket……
I remember playing this with some friends and we kept doing the top of the train level and purposely getting decked by the obstacles and that was the best part of the entire game
3:52 if you think that “no” is the most annoying sound in the world, wait till you hear the “no” that is shouted in the audio settings of the pc game Spider-Man 2000
I've not seen this film...or played the game...my nightmares are forever changed. It reminds me of the era when A Series of Unfortunate Events got a movie tie in PS2 game...it was actually quite fun but frustrating.
I ironically got this game as a Christmas gift. My family would buy me a few GameCube games. I beat it fairly quickly. But.... i didn't fully enjoy it. As for the movie, I did like thatm
Wow. I remember this game! I had it for about 2 years, and was stuck on the Scrooge boss battle for the longest time. I remember how disappointing it was when I first played it. But then one day, out of pure boredom, I managed to play through the whole thing within 4 hours. Lol
I just now realized, if the standard procedure for kids that don’t have their tickets is having them work in the front of the train why did the nerdy kid tell the main kid that she was gonna get thrown off of it? Did he just wanna fuck with him or something? Like what an asshole
I’m sorry, they decided to drop that piece of lore in the VIDEO GAME? Do you realize how many random Reddit theories there are about the bald and long beard engineers having been children who never left the train. There’s even a photo posted by an artist for the movie where they did a picture of them as kids standing with their mom, wearing the same (now too small) clothing they’re wearing on the train.
I remember renting this game from Blockbuster Video for the GameCube then finishing it in an hour.
the whole game is like 2 hours or something lol
At the age of 5 I could not beat this game for the life of me.
Same, I just went back and 100% everything
Really glad I never bought this one
I remember playing it on my playstation 2 lol I was terrified of that puppet but I love the hot chocolate scene XD
I'm sorry for your suffering
Christmas has come early
IT HAS INDEED

Wow this is epic wow
We missed you so much cuz 💯🔥
Wow
The way you both simultaneously said “iF ThAtS tHE wAy yoU wANt iT!!” was absolutely beautiful
The movie actually looked quite beautiful for it's time! and to me at has aged well :)
The game, however, has not aged well at all XD
Yessss forget the plot of what it was even about but at the time it had such realistic grafics I was at awe as a 8ish yearold
I remember thinking it was real
love the movie and Finnish dub favours me more than English
I agree, I like the movie.
I've never seen a more amazing looking game. Truly ahead of its time.
Oh its truly a piece of art
I don’t care how much hate this movie gets, I love The Polar Express with my entire heart

Mind Pulp lol neat- i'm glad Currie is all good now- i was in one of his snapchat vids a while back. thanks for the epic content!
Okay but legit The Polar Express was so unsettling to watch and I'm not even sure why.
Also omg this was a delight 💖
the animation was so.... gross

The game is really hammering in the "believe in yourself" message from the movie.
The God Of War music has me rolling. I’m glad I came here after seeing you guys on TikTok. You two are hilarious.

7:32 Wow I guess he didn’t have the correct amount of Brain cells to process the pain in time.
I think that's Tom Hanks brother standing in for him.
In elementary school they watched this movie every year in class. It has aged like milk but the nostalgia is still there
I used to absolutely love this movie as a kid, and I still do.
All except for that creepy ass puppet part
This video brought us Mind Pulp.
I never knew the Polar Express had a video game.

Thanks for sticking around :) we hope you’ll enjoy this new stuff !
I like how the flux capacitor Easter egg is still in the cab of the train from the movie.

Had this on GameCube as an elementary school student. I loved it and I don't know why. 😅
I saw the movie in theaters when I was 4 years old. It doesn’t hold up super well, but I’ll always look back at it fondly.
Looks like the kind of game that just... exists.
I remember playing this game at a friends house when I was like 8.
I had no idea what I was doing and played Hello Kitty instead.
