  • Today I finally had my 6 inch recirculating sluice upgraded to a proper highbanker, gave it a small test and was very pleased with the results!

    Awesome gold. We have way too much water here in NC USA. Been raining everyweekend since last summer. 70+ inches of rain last year in my creek. Starting to down now. Dredges are legal here but this makes me want to get my little 7" x 24" high banker out. Easier and quicker to get up than the dredge. Have fun!

      Thanks mate we would happily take some of that water off your hands this drought had been a tough one! I wish we could dredge in Australia I would love to give it a go. Thanks for watching mate I appreciate u spending your time!

      Thanks mate I had never noticed the gippsland boys all have highbanker with out legs! I will be adding some to my highbanker for a bit more stability! It's good having no water because new areas are open but it's a pain in the ass having to cart material to the nearest pond!

    Wow , the wait is over.
    Looks like it runs well, nearly as good as mine lol :) Nice bits. That spot will keep you busy for a while.
    Will catch you on the weekend

      Thanks Graham it worked really well I don't even think I'll change the the spray bar! Might add some rubber mat to the hopper just to slow the material coming down the hopper so fast. Give it a bit more time to wash! Can't wait to get it out Saturday I only have a few hours then have ti watch the kids so I will try come see use on the sunday

    Has that creek ever been worked by the old timers mate?

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  3 роки тому

      Yea mate the bulk of the creek has been turned over by the old timers, in this spot about 30m upstream they diverted the creek down the spot we have been working so im not sure if they ever worked this exact spot as the original creek was around the other side of a bedrock hill

      Beany's Gold hoping to go for my first attempt this weekend. Spent the last two months getting bits and pieces ready and learning where and how , see how I go I guess

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  5 років тому +1

      That's all you can do mate i hope you find some gold you will get the fever! Go to a known gold bearing River or creek and and find a hard packed crevice that you literally have to break the rocks out and you should find gold. Let me know how you go I'm interested to see! Best of luck!

      Beany's Gold will do , I'm in a bit of crapbosrt of Qld , but I've been looking up historical reports of gold found in regions around me , I'm hoping for the best but I won't be upset if I come away with nothing in my first trip

    I couldn't hear you very well a lot of times so i don't know what pump you're using. is it a 2200 gph or 1100? kind of interested in a backpack able high banker and this one fits the bill. TIA and golden pans!

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  4 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment mate I've had a heap of issues with my audio. Think I've got it sorted now. I use an 1100gph and a 750gph together but I'm going to replace the 750 with another 1100gph to increase head pressure in the hopper box. I've made a new spray bar set up which works extremely well

  • @crazyjestor435
    @crazyjestor435 5 років тому +2

    nice, video, what pump are you using?

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  5 років тому

      Thanks mate I use 2 pumps. 2 is 1100gph and the other is 750gph. I have the pumps set up better with a new spray jet. Going to get a petrol pump so I can run the highbanker far out of the creek where there's some nice deposits

  • @danhodgins4015

    Nice setup! Are you running 2 x 1100 gph pumps in this video?

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  4 роки тому +1

      Sorry for the late reply mate I'm running an 1100 and 750 together but going to swap out the 750 for another 1100gph to increase head pressure in the hopper box to help break down clay

    • @beanysgold963
      @beanysgold963  4 роки тому +1

      Got the new 1100gph pump today all set up for a big weekend of highbanking and detecting. Will do a video and go over my new set up with the new spray bars. I think u will like what u see, will hopefully have the new video up next week so stay tuned and thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment!
