The ending of the PPV ruined the entire PPV for me, the WWE Women's Championship isn't going to get any prestige if they keep hot potatoing the title around every 30 fucking days.
This is planting the seeds for a Sasha heel turn soon. Which is great news. I mean, who could Sasha face next as champion? Only Nia Jax or Dana Brooke. It's too early for Nia and Dana sucks. With Charlotte you have Bayley, a face Nia, a face Dana (easy to turn her), Emma... Sasha will turn heel on Bayley when she wins the title from Charlotte, leading to Bayley vs Sasha at Mania. Right now you're pissed? That's great news, it means Charlotte is doing a great job
jp27fcp They could've easily had Sasha Banks turn Heel after retaining. Just have Bayley come out and challenge her on RAW and have Sasha run her down on the Mic talking about her "Not having what it takes" and stuff then punctuate it by having her attack Bayley and work on her injured shoulder.
Charlotte winning the belt back means this Sasha vs Charlotte feud is going to continue and that fucking sucks. ... it needs to end, they're starting to get boring now. ...
partyboytimes They've flip flopped the title too many times now, they've done this before where the champion loses the title but doesn't get a rematch because they've already had 3 matches
Charlotte is the biggest female they gots, so she got the "first" ever hell in a cell win. That's why folks...simply because it's the first, and she has the lineage etc.
balancer182 ya she is talented but sasha banks deserves an actual title run with the prestigious women's title because it's being thrown around like a hot potato 😡
I'm glad that they've kept Charlotte's PPV streak, I think it will become a big deal in the future. And I agree, Charlotte is one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster (including the mens)
"They were girls so give them a break." Adam being a progressive wanted the women to do well so badly, but they didnt. They were NOT ready for the main event. I know that whatculture is politically correct af but let's be honest. The women didn't deliver and were outperformed by the men. I am sorry but I'm not going to "give them a break" for having vaginas. I respect them enough to hold them to the same standard as the men and it was not the match they needed to have to earn their spot at the top of the card.
Let's be honest, It was a better match than most of boreman's and we still see that bum in wwe just getting booed out of the building. Did he ever earn his spot ? Also, owens was in midcard with sami not too while ago and we gave it a pass even though they outperformed everyone.
There was no reason for this match to main event other than, "let's do a thing for the womenfolk" When it comes to the business itself and the structure of the card, the Universal title should go on last if it's your top title. After ignoring the belt for the last month, that title needed the main event more than Sasha and Charlotte, so much so that I totally forgot what Owens and Rollins were fighting for until the pre-match promo. I get that the Women's feud deserved the cell but beyond that, they booked it as a colossal failure. Lots of terrible bumps, the usual handful of botches, that long ass injury angle to start it off and a terrible finish that took the air out of the room and ended the show on a sour note. The girls did their part but someone needs to slap the agents that worked on this match.
thefreedude they even messed up the announce table spot I'm pretty sure, I think charlotte was supposed to just push her off the cell but she held sasha in the powerbomb position for too long and it just looked like a regular powerbomb
Nope. Sasha is the worst Woman Wrestler imo (except Nikki Bella and Eva Marie, they are divas for me). She is so fucking boring and can't deliver. I was so happy when Charlotte won
Nope. Charlotte is the best woman wrestler in the business right now (aside from Asuka) imo. So i was hoping Charlotte would regain the title but she now needs to hold it until at the very least the Rumble and possibly Mania
I really like Charlotte, and im not exactly a fan of Sasha. Charlottes got the raw strength, athleticism, and acting talent to properly perform her moves and sell like a champ. Sasha on the other hand, while she's ok and I like the brutality of the "Bank Statement", I don't feel she's very good at her setups and really requires her partners in the ring to do most of the work for her (Watch Charlotte as she has to RE adjust herself in the corner ropes because Sasha couldn't set her up properly. "Fakest" moment of the night right there and really zapped my suspension of disbelief. But then, I notice this all the time with Sasha matches) Charlotte is an excellent performer inside and out, an excellent heel, has a badass entrance and song, and makes that title look good. I was desperately hoping she would win legit. It is a shame about the table bumps though :\ it's liek they were told after the announcement table spot to take it more gently; you know, for the kids. Because that first one, was awesome and deliciously chaotic
The main problem I had with the women's match was the opening, Sasha took an ordinary powerbomb through the announce table and the match nearly had to be called off, after an hour earlier Kevin Owens getting powerbomed outside the ring through two tables and was on his feet after 30 seconds. It would have been a lot better if they did a kind of Rollins/Ambrose spot and they went up the cell a bit. I think it was supposed to look like it was off the cell, but it wasn't, it was just a powerbomb.
there is a history that the fans know of with KO going through tables and ladders, its not really known for SB to be doing that. so it makes sense in a way. kind of like the more used to it you are the less it hurts
***** and? The point of the woman's revloution is to make them look on the level of men (which they are) owens went through a lot worse and was fine earlier on, it just makes sasha look really weak and doesn't make much sense
Dylan Byrne 1. Sasha has a history of back and neck injuries. 2. The women aren't really used to this level of hardcore yet, as it's still a budding revolution. 3. Sasha landed HARD on her shoulder/neck region.
Dylan Byrne I don't disagree with you but tbh K.O recovered a bit too quickly. In the past, any person that got put through a table would usually be out for the match and lose. There used to be table matches with the sole aim of knocking a person out just by putting them through a table. K.O only took 30 seconds to recover which is awesome but not really in line with kayfabe and object damage. I can't say much on Sasha's impact as I tuned out after 2 mins for her match though.
The worst decision since they left Bryan out of the rumble and had Batista win. It's sad and disappointing, and if Banks won like she should have then, as Adam said, the event would've meant so much more. Not worse than Nexus. That's almost impossible.
The issue for the women's division on Raw is that they really only have Bayley, Sasha and Charlotte. That's all they got. While we can see Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch on Smackdown and it makes sense, can we really watch Dana or Nia fight Sasha? Smackdown just had a better women's roster...
ljaquos true 4 women can't possibly carry a division by themselves. They have more women but they aren't using them Nia Jax is missing and Alicia Fox too
+Sam “Crossfade” Smith I know dude. The match had to happen and it was good but it could have been so much better. However the women's division can build on that and maybe we'll see more of them in the Rumble.
1. I'm pretty sure they are gonna withdraw this cruiserweight divivsion after seeing the reaction they get. 2. They are trying hard to make ppvs unpredictable and thus there was charlotte winning the title!
Biggest issue I had tonight was you can really start to see the small rosters shine. We have seen these matches already a few times and the 3 month long feuds are kinda wearing thin. And with champions losing it only means at least a few will go on at least another month as they get their rematches
So.. Adam B. won the series and "forced" Adam P. to wear as Bret Hart, but Adam P. refused and now Adam B. is wearing the Undertaker costume anyway. Just like the all Shane O'Mac - Undertaker thing!
killer memestar if people can say "Murica", then it's all fair to misspell England any way possible. MegaGaming leather is generally expensive, unless you're like me and get full length trench coats, for free.
Ending was Out of nowhere but overall the women's match delivered big time. It was a great match KO vs Seth : 2nd best match of the evening Everything else was underwhelming, Typical RAW matches
Perhaps for you Not for me I enjoyed the Women more. they have so much history with each other i watched them grow from the moment they stepped foot in NXT until now. i went along for the journey so to speak Seth & KO just started a rivalrly and i expected so much more from these 2. But creative managed to make this feud feel lackluster
Please Like Me i take a few botches for granted if the overall match entertains me. Which the ladies did. Not you perse but i talk to a lot of fans who praise Lita,Trish, mickie women who paved the way for the horsewomen, but they seem to forget they knew how to botch as well. But simply because they were part of better era's it's forgiven. Some fans are hypocrites. KO v Seth was pretty boring up until the Cannonball on the outside and the sequence that followed inside the ring. That moment is when the match became exciting. The women had me hooked from the moment Charlotte blindsided Sasha. Have to agree with you on 1 thing tho. The Foley spot was too much
I was there, the issue with the Main Event was they started off high and the energy was good until the last 5-10 mins where it just fell off and the table breaking would've helped. Either way it was a good PPV. What didnt help the Cruiserweight match was that the big screen was blocked by all the banners and no one could see everything actually going on.
Adam Adam Adam... I felt the same way man, everything was good but the landing was off. I wish I could go back in time and change what happened but we can't do that :(
This was easily the worst main event all year and Adam's excuses for them are just insulting honestly. It was not a good match. At all. So fucking awful. I will say this however. Charlotte is so much better than every other women wrestler on Raw that it is kinda hurting the other women. Seriously, no other woman on Raw feels like they should have the belt. Sasha is still too green to even be in wwe.
Just Roaming They just don't even sell the moves really. It's like they get hit, take the bump, sell for a second, and then just move on to the next move. For instance Sasha should have sold her back throughout the whole match, but she really only kind of grabs every now again. Even though Charlotte targeted her back the whole time Sasha barely sold the damn thing. Also, this wasn't their fault really but the end didn't even look like the end because of the camera work. I didn't even notice Charlotte used natural selection cause the second table was in the fucking way.
I love seeing Adams reviews they are so much more positive than so many other people in the wrestling community, even when he's saying he doesn't like something it still sounds nice somehow lol.
If it was a guys match you'd hate it right? Well yeah! Do you not see the double standard there.Holding something to a lower standard just because its women is sexist. Its a disservice to both men and women . We all need to understand equality isnt always going to be beneficial but if you do believe in it you should always treat ppl the same no matter the circumstances. If it was a bad match it shouldn't be viewed different because it was women.
They're almost to the point that they have half of chynas credibility. maybe with another 5 years of hand holding they'll be ready to let one put on a match with a cruiserweight.
Personally I also hate token women where they put them on the main event simply because they are women. But as Adam said, considering the context, where the women are brave enough to do something like Hell in a Cell, something not even Trish and Lita dared to do, and where they are gonna kill themselves in order to earn your respect, they earned mine and deserve the main event spot because it is historic. It is the first time for the women. It deserves some recognition, and I'm ok with being the main event.
The problem is, no one wants real equality. If he actually came out and said, yea, the women's matches really aren't that good, then everyone would flame him for being sexist for that too. Women aren't physically equal to men, they weren't made to be, no matter how much we want to play the PC game, it's simple anatomy. Anyone who says differently is lying to themselves. There's a reason we have the NBA and WNBA, there's a reason that the Olympics are gender split, there's a reason you don't see women in the NFL or the big soccer leagues in Europe.
I call bullshit when Adam said "If it were a guy's watch you would hate it." If we want women's wrestling to be legitimate, then we need to treat it like men's wrestling. No amount of context can turn a shit match into a good one. If this match would suck if men were involved, then it would suck if women were involved. No difference. If there is a difference, then women's wrestling is not as legitimate as men's wrestling.
The table spot shows why you can't just treat them like men! Women are, on average just not as big or as strong as men. However that's just a counter to one of your points, I do agree with some of what you said. One thing however is using a certain word. Now I'm a fan of the sport, watched rasslin since I was little, but arguing the level of "legitimacy" in the particular medium of entertainment is a fools errand at best.
the dan hibiki Legitimacy might not have been the best word to use. I don't mean legitimacy in the sense of UFC, like a real fight. I mean wresting legitimacy. For example, AJ Styles vs John Cena is the type of match that everyone will take seriously. They will take it seriously because everyone knows that both opponents are strong and a lot is on the line. Their matches are judged critically. There is no excuses for their matches. No one goes "well it was good for an AJ match" or "it was good for a Cena match." That is what I call legitimate in the context of wrestling. If women's matches want that same level of respect, then we HAVE to cut this bullshit of "it was good for a women's match." That's why I have a problem when Adam says that he would hate it if it were a men's match.
Julian Bell Well said. That whole section seemed like he was making excuses for an underwhelming main event, just cause it was a women's match. Just seemed kinda patronising to me.
Just for fun, but the important thing was : The loser had to wear that costume an entire week 24/7 while the real Adam can just wear it whenever he feels like it
Really good PPV imo. The main event had this feeling of importance that the other two cell matches didn't. Owens and Rollins put on a hell of a show and Jericho really pissed me off which is great. They really need to stop changing the ring during crusierwieght matches. It takes so much away from the flow of the show and prompts unnecessary backstage segments. I really like Brian Kendrick though, he's very entertaining. I actually liked the ending of the main event. I think Charlotte going over and continuing her streak sets up a great story between her, and Bailey and maybe even Sasha at mania.
The fact the women main evented a PPV is a significant moment, but you have to separate that from the match itself. The match was full of botches, production mishaps and poor ring psychology. It was an utter mess. By any measure it was bad. The more you guys deny this, the more agenda driven and impartial you guys look. It was a bad match, it's ok to admit that and still recognize the huge moment it was for women's wrestling.
Yeah, the ending was so disappointing. Plus it just ruins any future wins where Sasha gets the title, as Charlotte's always going to be haunting the background. This is the second time Sasha won the title on Raw and lost it at the next PPV, and both times it didn't make sense story-wise. You'd think they'd fix the unavoidable problem at SummerSlam by having Sasha win here, but... guess not...
From beginning to end of the Women's match I was literally crying, I was so proud! But I was also mad that Charlotte won. Call me slow or stupid or whatever you want, but I didn't see the first table "botch" as a botch until I seen everyone on Twitter saying it was. I was way too immersed in the match to really see any negative, except for the ending... I'm a true wrestling fan. I have my moments where I hate a wrestler or just simply don't care about some matches, but when I'm invested into a match, my eyes water, I cry, I'm emotional, I get all the feels. That was me with the women's HIAC match last night. Table botches, I didn't care about. I think it gave it a little more spice than what other people think. Sasha just rolling on the table towards the end had it's own kind of awe because it showed charlotte's power and how Sasha just looked like a rag doll. I don't care what people think, Charloette and Sasha broke the glass ceiling and tore the house down. It was everything I imagined it would be. Loved that they used chairs as well. Love Sasha using a chair to get out of the figure 8 lock.
Who else didnt watch hell in a cell then came to whatculture in the morning and saw adam wearing the undertaker costume and thought undertaker returned?
Adam: "It's Halloween.... Hell in a Cell.... Helloween" "Helloween" is actually the name of a band. Not only that, one of their albums is called "Walls of Jericho" and it's where Chris Jericho got both is stage name and the name of his signature submission !
I think they should have just kept the title on Charlotte all month and then let Sasha win it at Hell in a Cell. That's twice now that Sasha has won the title on Raw and then lost it 27 days later at a PPV match. It makes her and the title look bad. I think a title change was probably a necessary ending to a historic match like this, but Sasha should have triumphed in her home town and won back the title there, that would have made the whole thing a lot better, I think anyway.
I attended live and thought it was a great show personally! Loved seeing Kendrick win the gold & the ladies killed it in the main event... I didn't like the ending but that doesn't take away from how great a match it was :)
Taker has said on twitter that he's medically clear and it's just WWE management keeping him away from appearing back on TV, for anyone wondering about Taker after seeing the thumbnail.
The atmosphere in the garden last night for the Womens match was so bad. Everyone could feel the buzz when the Owens/Rollins promo started and we all knew the Charlotte/Sasha match was last. The entrances were electric and everyone was on their feet... then the stretcher spot absolutely killed the crowd. After that (apart from the Eddie tribute) neither of them were getting much from us. Even though the table spots were funky I feel like they put on an amazing match for what they were getting from the crowd, from what I can see after watching the replay on the network the match came across really well evn though all of the air had been left out of the building. I think only time will tell how we remember this in a few years
There are some gimmick ppvs that are important like Royal Rumble Money in the Bank, Elimination chamber, King of the Ring and Survivor Series because they have or used to have WM or Draft implications, but others like TLC and Hell in a cell need to be changed. Halloween Havoc, New Years Revolution, Armageddon, December to Dismember etc. could replace some of the other ppv names
Sasha actually set the table up wrong. It should have been set up against the top rope but it was set up too low and that's why Sasha rolled off it rather than going through it.
Putting the women's match on last was a great move, but I was really disappointed by it, because I know both of the ladies can do a lot better. The in-ring work was good, but this kind of stipulation lives and dies by the 'wow' factor. They teased a cage climb, teased a suplex to the outside and teased a moonsault onto a table and none happened, while the actual spots that happened instead were nowhere near as good. The stretcher sequence at the start was also wayyyyyy too much. It looked Super-Cena levels of cheesey... it would have been better if Sasha didn't sell the powerbomb quite as much, and just flipped the stretcher and everything else when offered to her rather than getting all strapped up before resurrecting.
I think Hell in a Cell matches usually only work and should only happen when at least one of the wrestlers are built up and accepted as a monster. Otherwise, its just a regular wrestling match in a cage. The storylines need to have weeks/months of one wrestler running away from the other. Or the 2 needing to be kept apart until the match for a Hell in a Cell to hold any merit. All those Hell in a Cell matches on that PPV would have the same response if it was a regular match. The Cell needs to be built up as an intimidating feature again.
Or the heel being part of a faction that consistently wins due to interference. The Cell serves to keep them out of it. In fact, if memory serves, the original match was invented to keep HHH and Chyna out of Taker's way.
I think it is funny how different people view these events differently. I was absolutely not excited for this PPV but I was genuinely entertained all the way through with the exception of Dana v Bayley but even that was good for what it was. It was never going to be a 5* classic. The finish of the New Day match had me in tears because I thought it was brilliant. Same as Adam I think it was a shame that the table spots didnt work but the match had me on the edge of my seat because I really wanted Sasha to win and I thought it actually seemed like a brutal match. They threw each other into the cell way more often than the guys did and I thought the girls going under the ring to grab a table felt like a really big deal and gave me chills.
Some guy shouted at Kendrick "get a fucking haircut hippie" best part of the night
Cunner Madunner I thought I was the only one that heard that
Cunner Madunner I laughed so hard when I heard that😂
Cunner Madunner Yeah he said that, surprisingly it wasn't censored. He said "Get a fucking haircut hippie, Nike sucks!" Hilarious.
Cunner Madunner hahaha it's funny cause it's true🙆
maxwell sisters It seems he wasn't a fan of TJ or Kendrick.
"You can follow me on twitter here."
Never shows Adam's twitter handle.
WTF!!
The ending of the PPV ruined the entire PPV for me, the WWE Women's Championship isn't going to get any prestige if they keep hot potatoing the title around every 30 fucking days.
FullmetalNinja25 yup that's Truth
and plus it ws not brutal enough m pfa match for cage/cell match
FullmetalNinja25 it's like the John Cena vs Randy Orton feud in 2009/2010
This is planting the seeds for a Sasha heel turn soon. Which is great news. I mean, who could Sasha face next as champion? Only Nia Jax or Dana Brooke. It's too early for Nia and Dana sucks. Charlotte winning the belt back means this Sasha vs Charlotte feud is going to continue and that fucking sucks. ... it needs to end, they're starting to get boring now. ...
I think it's going to end, it has no reason to continue as this was supposed to be a blowoff match
TheJudefam they are going to at least still have one more match, she gets her rematch. So the feud is going on for a little while longer.
partyboytimes They've flip flopped the title too many times now, they've done this before where the champion loses the title but doesn't get a rematch because they've already had 3 matches
So Adam wore the costume anyway meaning that best of 7 series was pretty much Shane vs. Undertaker at WM. No real implications
To be fair, Pacitti had to wear the Bret Hart costume the whole week. I think this is just because of Halloween.
Good point dude
Still better than the WM33 cage match. Maybe Adam will run RAW
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
The Lonely #1 he's wearing it because its Halloween, pacitti(spelled it wrong probably) had to wear it all week as part of the bet.
wasn't impressed with the women's hiac match
It wasn't that bad but it was just strange.
admit it, it was better than you thought it would be.
i was so disappointed it was just bad sorry guys
Momma's Muffins It was, but still not enough sadly...
More impressed with kevin and Seth's match
Adam's chest looks alot like Adam's chest
MinusLife. 😂 i was thinking the same thing lol
Jordan Frost He had to grow that after the chops he took lol
Totally glued on...
MinusLife what chest there's nothing there ?
I'm pretty fucking salty that Sasha banks is not the champion like wtf!?
I'm not, when Charlotte tugged on her shorts it went up and could see her butt cheeks😍😍😍😍🍑🍑🍑
Like Adam said it just a bad ending. smdh.
I'm pretty salty Sasha is in the WWE. Charlotte is more likeable as a heel than Sasha could be as anything.
^ That's why Sasha is the most over woman's wrestlers the WWE has had in over 10 years right? Because she's unlikable. Hahaha. Fuck outta here.
Helldog6 Sasha is most over? *lol* Even today Bailey is more over.
And who cares who is more over NOW? Charlotte has a lot more potential.
I hate these gimmick PPVS Hell in the Cells and TLCs are supposed to be special :(
ownedweezybaby what
Stone Cold he's right
Extreme rules didn't have any extreme rules matches.
thezj20 AJ vs Roman was extreme rules
NitroGuy1997 one match. I forgot about that one.
Charlotte is the biggest female they gots, so she got the "first" ever hell in a cell win.
That's why folks...simply because it's the first, and she has the lineage etc.
That corkscrew moonsault. Seriously, people keep ragging on about her famous family name. But on her own she really is a good wrestler.
balancer182 ya she is talented but sasha banks deserves an actual title run with the prestigious women's title because it's being thrown around like a hot potato 😡
indeed, someone claimed last night she has never defended the title successfully.
I'm glad that they've kept Charlotte's PPV streak, I think it will become a big deal in the future. And I agree, Charlotte is one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster (including the mens)
Agreed. Charlotte is probably the best woman they have right now

SaintsBrees09 owens and rollins was a FAR better match
SaintsBrees09 Liberal Cucks will call you a sexist misogynist, we all know Owens/Rollins was the true Main Event.
Let's be honest, It was a better match than most of boreman's and we still see that bum in wwe just getting booed out of the building. Did he ever earn his spot ? Also, owens was in midcard with sami not too while ago and we gave it a pass even though they outperformed everyone.

SaintsBrees09 I think the main event was close to perfection. If you didn't like it, cool beans.
If Sasha went over that main event would've been perfect.
anyone else think undertaker returned
Lloyd Doran me
Nope, it's just Adam dressed as The Undertaker aka Mr. Nightfright aka Captain Boo and the Spooky Crew
Lloyd Doran no cause I saw the ppv
Aka Spooks the Ghost Lad
Lloyd Doran me
sucks to be a wrestling fan nowadays, i tried getting back into it but just can't
Wrestling is dead, let it go in peace.
dont watch lucha underground..
Nope NJPW is the best that is where all the good wrestling is at.
Who else was disappointed that Charlotte didn't do the moonsault
Through the table or off the Cell? If you say Cell, get out of here because that's way too fucking dangerous - and thank God Vince turned it down.
thefreedude instead we got that weird kick through the table... great spot wwe...
RickyTicky BobbyWobbin I agree match could have done with a better finish I think it cheapened the match slightly
thefreedude they even messed up the announce table spot I'm pretty sure, I think charlotte was supposed to just push her off the cell but she held sasha in the powerbomb position for too long and it just looked like a regular powerbomb
I can't believe you actually expected a moonsault.....
That lazer background and matching music tho. I think that was the background for my elementary school class picture back in the 80s. Good shit!
Saw the thumbnail, thought Undertaker had returned.
Cameron Bierman what
Cameron Bierman Same
Cameron Bierman same
"Gotcho ass" lol
undertaker isnt a gimmick
Am I the only person who wanted Charlotte to win?
When Charlotte goes for a move she tugs on Sasha's shorts and can see her butt cheeks 😍😍😍😍😍😍🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑
You ain't alone bro xD
Sasha may be deserving of being the champ but Charlotte is better as a champ
Nope. Sasha is the worst Woman Wrestler imo (except Nikki Bella and Eva Marie, they are divas for me). She is so fucking boring and can't deliver. I was so happy when Charlotte won

The way Blampied said 'You looked really dumb' in reference to TJ Perkins got me, hahaha xD
Am I the only one that thought that the main event was a disappointment?
yes
C.S.1. Rollins.5 Aside from those garbage table spots and the bad finish, the match was great
C.S.1. Rollins.5 i was with the ending thats all but amazing main event
C.S.1. Rollins.5 It was great with a shit ending. Much like the wrestlemania triple threat
C.S.1. Rollins.5 over all it wasn't bad women match great every match is great is only the last part of the women match the creative team is stupid
Charlotte winning was the worst booking decision in years
Finn Patrick Bourke more like the best decision making. finally we get that overrated Sasha off the belt
Finn Patrick Bourke so you'd put Charlotte winning as a worse decision than burying the Nexus, the Summer of Punk, or even Ending the Streak?
It wasn't good but calm down. Its not like Sashas been buried.
The worst decision since they left Bryan out of the rumble and had Batista win. It's sad and disappointing, and if Banks won like she should have then, as Adam said, the event would've meant so much more.
Not worse than Nexus. That's almost impossible.
Eric Kengo I completely agree
The issue for the women's division on Raw is that they really only have Bayley, Sasha and Charlotte. That's all they got. While we can see Alexa Bliss vs Becky Lynch on Smackdown and it makes sense, can we really watch Dana or Nia fight Sasha? Smackdown just had a better women's roster...
hi :)
ljaquos smackdown is just better overall
ljaquos true 4 women can't possibly carry a division by themselves. They have more women but they aren't using them Nia Jax is missing and Alicia Fox too
ljaquos They desperately need Mickie James to be put on RAW.
SEFFECT i get the feeling they'll make the mistake of putting her on SD though
What a start to the video, the best undertaker impression on Whatculture
I AM THE TABLE!
Waluigi Silver XD
Waluigi Silver 4x lol
SAVE...... THE TABLES, SAVE........ THE TABLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell In A Cell 2016 Charlotte Vs Sascha Table: "I BREAK FOR NO ONE!"
FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!1!
Thumbs up for the "In my day" line. More of that please :)
Under-adam
OR
Adam-taker
MrWazzup112 Adam taker, sounds more rapey.
adamtertaker
Adam-taker
Jake Elwood Adam taker
MrWazzup112 under adam just sounds wierd
Whatculture Wrestling makes a Helloween reference? HUZZAH! Happy (late) Helloween to Whatculture!
WhatCulture, could you please reply to me?
Shark Dude no.
Probably not.
Jake Elwood lol
WhatCulture Wrestling Lol Thanks.
holy shit
I think it's awesome that Women are main eventing PPVs! I hope it happens a lot more. :)
Why
I just think Women have earned the right to main event ppvs :)
:(
But even boreman lames main events and he sucks more than eva marie.
Yeah, but all they're doing is making Sasha look like shit. Unpredictable would be making Roman lose clean for once.
ZeGamer "for once" even though he's lost clean several times since mitb
ZeGamer They have made him lose clean a few times recently. he isn't getting the push he had last year.
BalorClub the better wrestler deserves to win charolette is a better wrestler
Roman has been pinned 3 times clean this year, at MitB by Rollins, Battleground by Ambrose and at Raw by Finn.
Thanks! Good commentary!!
I think Jericho will win the next Money in the Bank.
i hope so, he hasn't won one yet
stevew9948 What about the one in Apple
TheBloodytaste He invented it, so he deserves it.
TheBloodytaste i think he should, he invented the damn match lol.
MITB is suppose to build up and coming stars, not veterans.
Really enjoyed the pacing of the Owens/Rollins HIAC match. Kevin is looking a bit more like the Kevin Steen of old here which was great to see.
what's with the raincoat? there no leathers in Great Brittain?
Jake Elwood yes but quite expensive
Jake Elwood its part of the $5 costume from like a Walmart lol
Jake Elwood *Great Britain
killer memestar if people can say "Murica", then it's all fair to misspell England any way possible.
MegaGaming leather is generally expensive, unless you're like me and get full length trench coats, for free.
Jake Elwood Alright Van Helsing, no need to brag
Whats that song in the backward like the guitar
Ending was Out of nowhere
but overall the women's match delivered big time.
It was a great match
KO vs Seth : 2nd best match of the evening
Everything else was underwhelming,
Typical RAW matches
Britanny_Blissed_Off_ Queen Ummm Owens/Rollins was far better than Sasha/Charlotte...
Perhaps for you
Not for me
I enjoyed the Women more.
they have so much history with each other
i watched them grow from the moment they stepped foot in NXT until now.
i went along for the journey so to speak
Seth & KO just started a rivalrly and i expected so much more from these 2.
But creative managed to make this feud feel lackluster
Please Like Me
i take a few botches for granted if the overall match entertains me.
The Foley spot was too much
how close are new day to the demolition record? they better break it very soon cuse they got my bathroom break now..
43 days, they'll break the record at survivor series regardless of whether they retain or win
+TheJudefam Survivor Series is in 21 days...
CodFish Oh sorry I meant TLC which is a smackdown pay per view, so up to tlc
Being Survivor's Series is Raw vs. Smackdown they basically can put all title stories on hold for a month. So they will have the record broken by TLC.
wwe are gonna try to make charlotte a 16 time women's champion
I was there, the issue with the Main Event was they started off high and the energy was good until the last 5-10 mins where it just fell off and the table breaking would've helped. Either way it was a good PPV. What didnt help the Cruiserweight match was that the big screen was blocked by all the banners and no one could see everything actually going on.
Pretty solid show tbh.
Mxson Pritchard Agreed
Adam Adam Adam... I felt the same way man, everything was good but the landing was off. I wish I could go back in time and change what happened but we can't do that :(
It ain't a Sasha banks match unless she nearly dies in a spot
wow, Cher, hell of a get for What Culture. Well done lads.
I think the match was...proper but yea Charlotte is the best performer they have right now
Just Roaming They just don't even sell the moves really.
Jeremiah Baugh you can't possibly think roman vs triple h at wm 32 was better lol
Daniel Rodrick I actually do in that match Roman speared Stephanie and that just made my night
WM32, SummerSlam, and No Mercy's were worse IMO.
Ricky VanDusen no it is not considering how far the women's division has come
They're almost to the point that they have half of chynas credibility. maybe with another 5 years of hand holding they'll be ready to let one put on a match with a cruiserweight.
Ricky VanDusen but it wasn't a bad match it just wasn't great
Personally I also hate token women where they put them on the main event simply because they are women.
There's a reason we have the NBA and WNBA, there's a reason that the Olympics are gender split, there's a reason you don't see women in the NFL or the big soccer leagues in Europe.
if you look closely, you can see thats not the real Undertaker but Adam dressing up as The Undertaker
They should move the cruiserweight division to smackdown
Mr LMB Not enough time.but Raw has too much time.
Regarding the advertisement at the end about WCPW and it being at 8PM BST, they do know the UK is no longer in BST right?
I think Charlotte was not ment to win because she kinda looked shocked
FLASH_ARROW_KIDD lol you serious bro?
She was meant to win but that was not the finish they intended.
FLASH_ARROW_KIDD she was meant to win but the table was supposed to break so they were dissapointed with the emd of the match.
I enjoyed the PPV.. that was my first live PPV and I liked it.
"Rest In Piss." -Adam Blampied.
3 cell matches in one PPV is like life imitating the video games lol.
Agreed
the dan hibiki Legitimacy might not have been the best word to use.
Julian Bell
Well said. That whole section seemed like he was making excuses for an underwhelming main event, just cause it was a women's match. Just seemed kinda patronising to me.
What is that theme playing in the background? I love it.
Sasha v Charlotte was awesome. Dont care what anyone says. The ending did suck tho
3 years later. It’s weird not seeing Adam on UA-cam.
am i alone in disliking sasha
Nope she is awful and should never be given a mic until she learns how to pronounce words properly.
Nope. I hate her.
Lmao I dressed up as Undertaker for Halloween too, but Adam rocks it way better xD
zoeee that's probably because you're a woman ya know
RyanCanCraft You make a good point sir
zoeee Why thank you M'lady. Pleasure to be of use
tazmaniendevilQ
Wow that was so rude. I'm sorry :(. Wanna be best friends and go round murdering people?!? :)
tazmaniendevilQ
Ikr! Not just a phase!
I thought Adam parochiti lost so why is this Adam wearing the undertaker costume
Just for fun, but the important thing was : The loser had to wear that costume an entire week 24/7 while the real Adam can just wear it whenever he feels like it
Andy Gee The Announce Table spot is so common nowadays but they treated it like when Foley got thrown off the cell.
I think the PPV was pretty decent. However, the ending, as you put perfectly, let the air out of the tyres a bit.
Charlotte only won to get those records and "1st time" stats....just sad really
redmanra1n yep
BTH, the impression at the start was 👌
come on, the title belongs on Charlotte the best woman wrestler out there right now!
Lol keep saying that ya dumb kid
that cable stuck in the neck brace.... smooth move wwe.
I was so bored through the event
Cyborg Wolf my tv didn't work also first like
what?
Adam's bald spot goes perfectly with the taker costume
The women's match was terrible I would have rather had reigns and rusev go on last it was the worst hell in a cell match out of the bunch
When Charlotte goes for a move she tugs on Sasha's shorts and can see her butt cheeks 😍😍😍😍😍🍑🍑🍑🍑
+Doggy x6789 ...just seen that... a little desperate if that is all it takes. lol
More hair on adams chest than his head #baldspot
This channel is getting so boring now
Who else didnt watch hell in a cell then came to whatculture in the morning and saw adam wearing the undertaker costume and thought undertaker returned?
Fix the WhatCulture extra media player >:( I can't stand looking at the "Error Loading media" Message anymore. It's been 3 weeks :(
By the thumbnail I thought taker returned xD
Adam: "It's Halloween.... Hell in a Cell.... Helloween"
"Helloween" is actually the name of a band.
HIAC 2016 tagline: "Get a fuckin haircut, hippie!" "Nike sucks."
We actually get to see Adam B in the Undertaker costume after all! My day has been made.
I think only time will tell how we remember this in a few years
YAASSS!! We get to see Adam in that Undertaker costume!!
I couldn't even begin to process this fill because I was so fixated on that clump of hair dead center in his chest. XD
9 1/2 minutes in and I remembered I didn't have to be full-screen on Blampied's boy chest.
It looked Super-Cena levels of cheesey... it would have been better if Sasha didn't sell the powerbomb quite as much, and just flipped the stretcher and everything else when offered to her rather than getting all strapped up before resurrecting.
that spear off the steps was godly.
That chest hair

Did y'all see they put your tweet up on the bottom when you said "kendo shots to the neck that's a new one"
Sadly people will only remember how bad that finish was. Just the way it is.
