Used this today to install the V2.1 SKF seal kit. Used your older video last time I serviced my post, so worthwhile refreshing the video, now you’ve got your setup. Better not having to remove the saddle/cartridge etc like the OneUp instructions. Thanks 👍
Super glad to hear that the video workout out for you. I just finished recording a service video for the V3 version of this dropper post. It'll probably be uploaded within the next couple of weeks. Thank you very much for the comment 👍
It makes me very glad to hear the videos are informative for you, and thank you for such a gracious comment. The reverb AXS is a super post, but I highly recommend that you check it regularly. Not fully service it, but every 100 hours or so of use, open it up and check the bushings. They have a coating on them that wears inconsistently. The quicker you catch this, the better off you will be. Also, use SRAM butter or equivalent on the bushing and pins. IMO, rockshox really needs to revise their recommendation of using dynamic grease on this post. I just came across yet another reverb axs, 2 weeks ago, with a failed bushing, and the dynamic grease turned into a hard clay-type paste. The post had low hours on it, and the person who owned it stated that it started working differently out of nowhere. The above is the only way I can be sure that you will fully enjoy that excellent post for years to come. 👍
The part I don’t enjoying doing is removing the post from the bike for internally routed frames. I always end up scratching the housing because of burrs inside the frame. If only more frame makers use guides for internal routing kinda like a conduit inside the frame then problem would be solved.
You are SO dead on with this. It's the biggest reason people put off servicing posts. I don't actually own an Reverb AXS, but I've ridden them and love the simplicity of wireless. I just don't like the price! He/She/They/It (😁) who invents a wireless dropper, that's as responsive as a wired, easy to service, and competitive in price, WINS! 👍
Great video. Love the white background. I wouldn't mind if you would've zoomed in (moved the parts closer to the camera) on the fine details. If it's worth verbally explaining what we can't see (zoomed out so far), then it'd be worth zooming in & showing.
Thanks for the comment and the suggestion. I only recently bought a macro lens which allows me to get close up shots. I used it in a couple of videos so far and I'm liking it, though it's VERY easy to get stuff out of focus. It's going to take a bit to get used to but we'll get there. 👍
Well, unlike me anymore, it's long, hard, pops up instantly, and needs some good effort to go back down. I call that the good ol days! 😁The big question is, why did I end the service part of the video with "She's done" 🤔 Thanks for watching the video. If you have any questions let me know. I'll be posting a Oneup V3 service video soon if that might be of interest to you,
Cheers for this, helped me service my sticky post.
Great job! 🦾always good to hear when the videos help people thanks for sharing

Your videos are great. Very easy to follow.
Thanks myman! what I need is some trade and/or invest tips so I can find more time to work on videos. So if you got any, feel free to share 😉
So good! Best tutorials on You Tube and I will be using your AXS Reverb when the time comes. 👍

so many male gendered parts. actually distracting. parents must not have given you the "talk" however, very good video
