I remember way back when Billy first got the Nova he mentioned maybe painting it gold with a black vinyl top like he had on an R/C car or he saw on an R/C car. I'd love to see him do that combo , I think it would look so different & really stand out amongst all the black Nova's you see so often... you don't really see vinyl tops on the older cars ,anymore. I think once Billy saw Jeff's Dart with that satin/shiny stripe combo his mind was made up lol. Can't wait to see it all finished up.

Wet sanding is definitely a job best performed by a woman, there is no way I could ever have the patience for it! Absolutely outstanding job by all of you!
Exactly, I wet sand with a DA sander, good thing I have old trucks and not show cars, I always say if it looks good as used cars at the dealership then I did a good job, I see way worse at car shows

ITS VERY HARD TO MAKE A LIVING AT THIS TYPE OF BODY AND PAINT WORK !!!! i switched to late model collision work 25 or so years ago, people have no idea what it take to do this, great vid , showing my age LOL

You create an atmosphere and experience that always leaves me wanting more. I wish you would do three day workshops every six months and charge money to teach people the basics like block sanding and trim removal, tricks, paint to finish with no bodywork involved. Charge money to teach, YT the event, and get schmucks like me to sand for 8 hours with your supervision. Labor that pays you is something to think about at least. ~All the best the world has to offer and more! ps. this channel is about to explode and I'm excited to have been here for it.

Good gravy! That takes crazy patience! I grew up in a body shop. Back in the '60s/'70s my dad owned one of the few body shops in Southern Minnesota that repaired and painted Corvettes. So Corvettes were rolling through my dad's shop all the time. I learned how to prep and paint when I was 12. I am totally amazed at the quality of your work. A-May-Zing!

I was back and forth but I think I prefer the chrome! I’d of probably done the rear in a fine silver to try to match the chrome look on the front a bit.
