Time after time, when "authority" knocks on the door to collect the "wealth" (so that it can be "redistributed", "fairly"), people say "no thanks, I haven't got much and what I do have I work hard for on my own." And then the violence begins.
The trouble with socialism is that it imagines that human beings are perfectable & if we try hard enough we can reach utopia. This ignores human nature & all its faults.
No. The trouble with socialism is that it says man should live for other people. You should live for your own happiness (that's the ideal) and you should be free to (that's capitalism).
@@englishincontext4025yeah I think they’re both right. Live to have a happy full life while doing your very best to keep your own sinning in check. Shame and true atonement needs to make a come back
The way socialism is explained in this video is Spot on!!! Easy to understand, to the point and the comparison to monopoly is genius because it covers all the important stuff that you need to know about and I've always thought that on the face of it it's a very fair System designed to put the happiness of the people first but the main problem with it is that humans stop it from succeeding and get in the way!!!
There is a Russian film called "Come and See", filmed in 1985 about the atrocities that fell upon Belarusian people in the 2nd world war. Harrowing to watch 😱.
He is genuinely a member of the Trilateral Commission. Look up who founded it. He was appointed late in 2019, I believe to ensure that the perpetrators, who are running the events we’re experiencing right now, guaranteed that regardless of who won the general election, they’d own the government.
Thanks for re-uploading. I remember watching this years ago when I started following the Great White Male, perhaps 2018. Does anyone know the original upload date?
I always had a theory that socialism was just what they call communism at first to trick people into thinking its a good idea. My eyes lit up when he started explaining that 🤣
Wasn't it the Russians that were amassing troops on the German side of the line? Hitly had no choice in the matter innit? Then when they came though pushing back the Germans they did unspeakable things to the locals... That bear was the red dragon of Revelations.
I was horrified when i saw the documentary Hellstorm and what the allies did to the German population and still more horrified at what the Russian side did. If you read the poem by martin niemoller and see the specific groups mentioned then you realize who the socialist/communists are, who Karl Marx, Stalin and the rest in the Russian army really were. You also realize who instigated the Russian revolution and were also involved in the chinese communist revolution, its always the same group.
Lots of things are wrong with socialism but its principle error - an error it can never resolve - is that it bases its ideology on an incorrect theory of human nature. It's no good declaring that crime, deprivation, selfishness and greed are simply manifestations of the oppressive capitalist system, and that when this is abolished man will revert to his/her true nature. Socialism and Communism assert that once the shackles of capitalism are taken away, and men are free, they will not only act in their own best interests, but also in the interests of their fellow man. Big mistake! Many philosophers have pondered the nature of man and come up with different theories; Locke, Rousseau, Hobbes, Bentham, Mill, Plato, Descartes. But whose theory is the correct one? Rousseau had a concept of a nebulous 'general will' - with those who 'knew better' in charge; Plato believed that only an educated narrow band of 'philosopher kings' should rule, while everyone else divided into classes of obedient inferior people. Hobbes thought that man was by nature competitive and ruthless, and that without strict laws life would be "nasty, brutish and short". Since socialism and communism are predicated on an optimistic view of human nature it was doomed to failure from the start. Many people are, by nature, selfish, ruthless, vindictive and greedy. Unless you put them into a system where they are severely restricted, they will never behave the way you want them to. Socialism and communism attract the lazy, those seeking power over others, those who crave conformity - which is why millions die under these types of regimes. Did you know that the early settlers to America ran their settlements on a socialist basis? The first two such experiments failed and most people died. Those who were industrious became very resentful of those who did not care to work but who took their share of food and water. Eventually new waves of settlers arrived and it was only when they became organised on the basis of individual property (capitalism) that the settlements began to thrive. This was a paradigm for the essential unworkability of socialism. The theory may work but in practice people are different and some will always seek to have an easier existence on the backs of others.
Alistair, Marie Antoinette didn’t say ‘let them eat cake’ (or equivalent French phrase) this was a lie put about by the Freemasons. And please you say you love Jesus - please don’t swear His name…. Surely you could find a different word to swear, and still sound cool?

I think you're both right. And you said it much more succinctly than I did in my long comment. 👍
Socialalism always reminds me of the star trek episode where everybody lived in utopia but you would be publicly executed for walking on the grass

Good to see you back, did Teresa ever get that brexit macdonalds deal done!!

Not a single example of a successful socialist or Communist nation.
