I guess sonically it just hit me different, I've had this shit on repeat bruh. The beat is one of my favorites in all of nerdcore too.
Saa has done a bunch of raps on twitch, she's just yet to release a lot of them
I agree with the assessment of the female rappers on this, their verses sounded really casual (not in a bad way), as if it didn't really require much effort from them and I wish FrivolousShara was a bit more like that sometimes personally, because she's so good but nearly every time I hear her it's like she's out there with a point to prove when she doesn't need to prove anything.
I loved this cypher, but I see where TEV is coming from BUT
you can always count on Connor to go crazy with his lyrics, which is what TEV was waiting for

I would say that it depends on what you are listening to the cypher for. I'll admit that this is one of the weaker cyphers of recent years but that's also due to the length of the verses. However, there were a few verses in there that were really pleasing to me and the sauce/vibe is why I added it to my playlist. But bar wise, yeah, there was very little to get you going, even if there was more there than you caught based on how you reacted, but that is what I expect from a first listen, no matter the reactor.
I agree. The cypher was fine, there weren’t any verses I disliked but nothing that made me want to listen to it again. Geno’s verse was fun to listen to and Saa’s was saucy as hell.

I was thinking the same thing. this cypher was cool but it felt like most of the verses were just ticking a box. Compare this cypher with the 12 worst generation cypher released around the same time last year (I know it was realeased 31 dec 2021), same Rustage, same One Piece topic but that cypher had some incredible verses that makes you want to listen it again. Funnily enough, Connor and Shofu also had some of the best verses in that cypher as well.
