I have mtb gloves with knuckle protection, and I use handguards. The Poc gloves I use have the type of padding that gets hard on impact but of course it won't stop pain on very hard impact, but you won't get hurt or injured on smaller hits. Handguards protect well against branches. I never ride barehanded or fingerless. I have well fitting gloves so they don't move on my finger. I also have anti dlip/grip tape on the levers for great grip. So fs rive been using Tesa anti slip tape, it's very abrasive, but wears fast so gets less abrasive after some rides.
I broke two of my fingers from a bail , I think people should wear them . Wish I was wear some at the time . I more or less just tapped the ground with them . Still suffer trigger finger from it .
It really just depends on the type of riding you're doing. Road riding I prefer half finger, MTB I prefer full finger since you're more likely to hit your hands on branches or whatnot out on the trail.

I can' t pick my nose with full-finger, so half works well for me!!

thanks for the video. For me i still went with the full glove even though i am cycling on road as i kinda like its design better.

Between half finger amd full finger gloves..Which one is more comfortable?
