I have found half of those signs in my life. I struggle with finding the others,but God doesn't leave anything unfinished. He isn't known for half measures. I have confidence in that. I have confidence in Him.
Father God… I lift Joyce up to you in prayer. I pray …that through Holy Spirit … Joyce can be shown your great love and care for her heart, soul and life. Your Word says if we will wholeheartedly come to you as little children and ask you into our hearts, and save us from all sin, fear, unbelief and hell, that you will hear our cry and you will let us know that something feels different in us at the exact moment. I know what you're going through. It can be absolutely terrifying. No matter what, cling to the cross. Trust that God will come to your aid, especially if you don't feel like He ever will. Just cling to the cross, and God will rescue you. I'll add you to my daily prayers.

I didn’t truly know this until I found out and boom … I’ll never be the same as I was … all because there really IS a real spirit of God who literally speaks to his peoples’ hearts. It’s amazing, glorious and I feel so special to Him for when I really meant what I was saying to God crying my eyes out in such turmoil inside, begging for His salvation from myself… BOOM He literally let me know by His spirit that He heard my cry. Life is so enriched, learning more and more and just praising Him in all the good and bad and having joy inside in the worst of moments is just utterly astounding to me.
@heavenlycontent praise God. It's nice reading about your joy in the Lord. Jesus also has given me heavenly joy in a moment. I was in a deep dark place d/t chronic pain and loss of physical abilities. I continued to seek God through prayers and His Word. I wanted to die everyday. Not a day went by without crying most of the day. I'm also a widow so I'm alone all the time. I went to bed on a Sunday as I always did. The following morning when I opened my eyes I felt my heart was full of joy. I could feel a smile on my face. Nothing changed but God touched me. I'm still in chronic pain, physically handicapped and still alone, but now I have peace and joy. I m no longer suicidal but I still don't want life to go on too much longer for myself. Too much pain from so many areas of life with no pleasures. It is hard to exist this way. I do go to church 2 times a week. I'm having a heatd time making friends. At 53 it's tough to find a friend. My best friend committed suicide, my other friend died of heat issues my husband passed with cancer. So have found myself very isolated and extremely lonely. I wish and peay for a friend or two. Thanks for reading my venting. I'm a bit sad today. Lots of pain, little sleep, and no prospects fir activities or company. Peace

I was wondering why, maturing in Jesus spirit causes division within my relationships, I’ve been alone in this season when the spirit of truth has revealed his will for my life. I still doubt myself sometimes bec it doesn’t feel loving to have to cut ppl off I love. I rejoice now always believing and never fearing for god will work all things for those that love him. Dear heavenly Father, I asked that You be with this woman's son. We all know that you are right there. Waiting for him, and it's gonna take him to choose You. I asked Father that You lay it upon his heart to surrender. That he will have the desire to turn to You. To relinquish all of his fears and anxieties and concerns about the alcoholism. As well as the other things in his life that have brought him into the alcoholism. He needs a healed heart. I can feel it as I pray Father. I don't know but You do. Hus heart has somehow been broken. A long time ago. Father God, I ask that he has the strength and the courage to come to You. And say, "I've had enough Father. Please take my mess and turn it into a testimony", thank you, Father, for all that You do for me. Thank you for every one of my brothers and sisters. I thank you, I honor you. I have the Holy Spirit in me but I also have demonic attacks from my wife driving me insane. My wife tries my patience. My wife angers me. My wife makes me not want to love her anymore. My wife gives me anxiety and depression.
There are only a few actual examples of people being filled with the Holy Ghost for the 1st time after the resurrection and they are found in acts. Chapters2,8,10,and 19. They all have somethings in common. It was seen and heard and they were all filled after believing not at the moment of belief.

Very deep..how is this different than having faith and memorizing the word, I suppose that relates to works and faith, by your own efforts coming to similar conviction. you can never be 100% sure you're saved if it depends on seeing signs in your life. You're looking to yourself and not to Jesus. The only way to be 100% sure is : Did you trust in Christ alone to save you, and you're not trusting in anything in yourself? If the answer is yes, then you are 100% sure. Because it's all about what he did, not about what we do.

I would say… literally talk to God like He is sitting in front of you. Take all your questions straight to Him and He will not ever let you down. I felt lacking in Holy Spirit that others seemed to really have it but I seemed not to. Hard times happened to me and as a result, I prayed, cried, studied the Word and He was right there in front of me guiding me through it all. There are blank and dark times that I feel like I’m shut out and He isn’t being Lord in my life but I’ve experienced enough to learn from that He is always there even when I don’t feel Him… He is still working behind the scenes of upheaval and a desert. Play some good worship music, go into a private place and tell Him everything you feel… EVERYTHING … he will respond in due time. The stronger you let Him know you need Him, the clearer you He can reveal Himself. Peace in Christ ❤
1 John 4:1-3 thos is all u need to do to know if the Spirit of God is in someone just have them to confess that Jesus was sent by the Father in the flesh, 1John 4:15 whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:1 whosoever belives that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, this is the easiest way to know whether the Holy Ghost is inside of someone very easy, but hardly any one teaches this.
The scriptures says, Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of christ does not have God. Question did the holy spirit in John the Baptist come to reveal Jesus christ or reveal himself?
There are only three instances in scripture of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened the moment that they recieved( Acts ch.2,10,and 19) . In each instance the first thing that happened when they recieved the Holy Spirit is that they spoke in tongues.
But I don't think, and Paul confirms this, that everyone who receives the spirit, speaks in tongues. Paul teaches that speaking in tongues is simply 1 of the possible gifts of the spirit and there is a different gift for certain believers. I.E healing, prophesy, understanding, etc. I tend to believe I have somewhat of an understanding. Things I don't quite understand, I'll pray about and maybe a few days or even weeks later, suddenly that verse will come back to me at random, or I'll hear it again from someone's else and suddenly I see it in a whole new way I hadn't previously thought. If everyone gets the tongues thing (and according to most, tongues is speaking in another existing human tongue) then many of us didn't recieve the spirit. 1 of 2 things are true then; 1. Tongues is a guaranteed thing we recieve to know we have the spirit. Or 2. Not everyone recieves this gift and those who don't, do have the spirit, but receive another gift. I don't think that tongues is a guaranteed initiation however because the bible says, and Paul confirms, that tongues isn't always a useful gift and is only useful if there is a translator to translate what is being said. Then there are some who thi k tongues isn't necessarily speaking another language ( German, Spanish, French, etc. But speaking an unknown language that only God can understand.) So that part is a bit confusing to me.

When he states of the gift of speaking in tongues he always accompanies it with interpretation of tongues. Paul speaks though of another manifestation of speaking in tongues to where an interpreter isn't necessary." He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifies himself"( 1Cor.14:4). For him to be speaking of us speaking in a private prayer a language native to this world to edify ourselves in private prayer wouldn't make sense. Paul also said," When i speak in an unknown tongue my spirit prays but my understanding is unfruitful.."( 1Cor.14:14). This exposes a common misconception that speaking in tongues is a language native to.this world which is untrue. Paul.was fluent in the two languages native to the civilzed world of the day, Hebrew and Greek. There was no need of supernaturally knowing a language unlearned in that world to spread the gospel. Speaking in tongues is speaking in one spiritual language. The reason that " tongues" is pluralized is because more than one person was speaking this spiritual language at the same time. Paul also said that " He that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaks unto God not man for No Man Understands Him, howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries" ( 1Cor.14:2). If no man undersrands it then its not a language native to this world. I was aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit around me and was filled with the Spirit before i ever recieved the Holy Spirit. That is why John the baptist made such a point of saying that he baptized with water but that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can still work through believers that are filled with the Spirit just had He did through the old testament prophets but neither have recieved the Holy Spirit as a permanently indwelling presence or been born of the Spirit. The Spirit baptism is to be filled to overflowing. Once we have prayed fervently for the Lord to fill us with the Holy Spirit, and He does so, we must then surrender the one part of us we can't "tame" or surrender without the Spirits' help and that is our tongue. We do so until the Spirit has joined with our spirit signifies that He has by enabling us to pray verbally in the spirit the language we call " tongues". Recieving the Holy Spirit is so crucial that rhe Lord gives a supernatural sign to confirm it. Afterward we can pray from our mind, English or from our spirit ," tongues". That is why many that believe they are saved are not. My heart grieves for the multitudes of confessing christians in the world have not yet completed the process of being born again.
@robertnieten7259 if you are speaking of one "speaking in tongues in front of others" I do not believe everyone receives that gift, as a way to confirm they are baptized in the holy spirit. However, if you are talking about a private tongue that only God understands, that I can understand. One day I was praying fervently, alone in my car and I didn't know what to say. Suddenly I felt this strange feeling as I was compelled to pray without knowing what I was saying. As I prayed, the words I didn't understand kept coming out. They had form, they weren't just random sounds. I felt a warm fuzziness flush over me from my head and down to the rest of my body. I don't know what that was, but I know it wasn't me. I felt passionately about those words though. Even though I didn't know what they meant. I was afraid I did something wrong, after that however because many people claim that that isn't biblical. But I wasn't praying those words to anyone or near anyone. I was alone in my car and it wasn't something I had planned.

Conscienceness can not exist without life and life can not exist without consciousness, this is the image of God as one person with a body that does the work of God, and we are that image, as body, soul and spirit as one person with a name.

You MUST make sure you aren’t trying to preach, to gentiles, a message that was specifically for the Jewish people. Old Testament, before the death 💀 f Christ = Israel/Jews. Even Jesus stated, he not but for the post tribes Israel. When the Jews denied him, finally, after acts 2:38, that is when Paul was sent to reach and have gentiles grafted in.

There is a big difference between the Spirit of God, Jesus Christ that came after the cross, you can not put the holy spirit in the place of The Spirit of God, that is written with a capital letter 🙏 Question, did the holy spirit kill in the new and old testament? Wrong. The evidence of the Spirit is that you believe Jesus died for you and rose again. If you are a believer and walk after the flesh you will not automatically exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. Even while abiding in Christ the flesh battles against the Spirit.
You do realize people receive the Holy Ghost after belief and not at the moment of belief. There are times it took prayer and the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Ghost.

Your "after/before" belief theory is what is not Biblical. To each is given a measure of faith according to Christ's gift. If you want to be immersed in the Spirit then immerse yourself in the Word of God. You can quench the Spirit and may go through seasons of rebellion but once you are a believer and have heard the Truth you are sealed.

I do not agree that your works are proof of Holy spirit. Because there are nonbelievers that do a better job than some believers in good works. If you believe in Christ's finish work, what he's done for you not what you've done for him then you are a child of God. Everyone still sins its by the blood of Christ Jesus that you will be justified by the Father. The cross (His finished work) was is and will always be enough.

@heavenlycontent praise God. It's nice reading about your joy in the Lord. Jesus also has given me heavenly joy in a moment. I was in a deep dark place d/t chronic pain and loss of physical abilities. I continued to seek God through prayers and His Word. I wanted to die everyday. Not a day went by without crying most of the day. I'm also a widow so I'm alone all the time. I went to bed on a Sunday as I always did. The following morning when I opened my eyes I felt my heart was full of joy. I could feel a smile on my face. Nothing changed but God touched me. I'm still in chronic pain, physically handicapped and still alone, but now I have peace and joy. I m no longer suicidal but I still don't want life to go on too much longer for myself. Too much pain from so many areas of life with no pleasures. It is hard to exist this way. I do go to church 2 times a week. I'm having a heatd time making friends. At 53 it's tough to find a friend. My best friend committed suicide, my other friend died of heat issues my husband passed with cancer. So have found myself very isolated and extremely lonely. I wish and peay for a friend or two. Thanks for reading my venting. I'm a bit sad today. Lots of pain, little sleep, and no prospects fir activities or company. Peace

I have the Holy Spirit in me but I also have demonic attacks from my wife driving me insane. My wife tries my patience. My wife angers me. My wife makes me not want to love her anymore. My wife gives me anxiety and depression.
There are only a few actual examples of people being filled with the Holy Ghost for the 1st time after the resurrection and they are found in acts. Chapters2,8,10,and 19.
They all have somethings in common.

you can never be 100% sure you're saved if it depends on seeing signs in your life. You're looking to yourself and not to Jesus. The only way to be 100% sure is : Did you trust in Christ alone to save you, and you're not trusting in anything in yourself? If the answer is yes, then you are 100% sure. Because it's all about what he did, not about what we do.

What If you’re lacking fruit? I feel like I don’t have the Holy Spirit truly
He began a work in you,He'll finish it. He's not a God of half measures.
I would say… literally talk to God like He is sitting in front of you.
Take all your questions straight to Him and He will not ever let you down.
I felt lacking in Holy Spirit that others seemed to really have it but I seemed not to.
Hard times happened to me and as a result, I prayed, cried, studied the Word and He was right there in front of me guiding me through it all.
There are blank and dark times that I feel like I’m shut out and He isn’t being Lord in my life but I’ve experienced enough to learn from that He is always there even when I don’t feel Him… He is still working behind the scenes of upheaval and a desert.
Play some good worship music, go into a private place and tell Him everything you feel… EVERYTHING … he will respond in due time.
The stronger you let Him know you need Him, the clearer you He can reveal Himself.

1 John 4:1-3 thos is all u need to do to know if the Spirit of God is in someone just have them to confess that Jesus was sent by the Father in the flesh,
1John 4:15 whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:1 whosoever belives that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, this is the easiest way to know whether the Holy Ghost is inside of someone very easy, but hardly any one teaches this.
The scriptures says, Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of christ does not have God. Question did the holy spirit in John the Baptist come to reveal Jesus christ or reveal himself?
There are only three instances in scripture of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened the moment that they recieved( Acts ch.2,10,and 19) .
In each instance the first thing that happened when they recieved the Holy Spirit is that they spoke in tongues.
But I don't think, and Paul confirms this, that everyone who receives the spirit, speaks in tongues. Paul teaches that speaking in tongues is simply 1 of the possible gifts of the spirit and there is a different gift for certain believers. I.E healing, prophesy, understanding, etc. I tend to believe I have somewhat of an understanding. Things I don't quite understand, I'll pray about and maybe a few days or even weeks later, suddenly that verse will come back to me at random, or I'll hear it again from someone's else and suddenly I see it in a whole new way I hadn't previously thought. If everyone gets the tongues thing (and according to most, tongues is speaking in another existing human tongue) then many of us didn't recieve the spirit. 1 of 2 things are true then; 1. Tongues is a guaranteed thing we recieve to know we have the spirit. Or 2. Not everyone recieves this gift and those who don't, do have the spirit, but receive another gift.
I don't think that tongues is a guaranteed initiation however because the bible says, and Paul confirms, that tongues isn't always a useful gift and is only useful if there is a translator to translate what is being said. Then there are some who thi k tongues isn't necessarily speaking another language ( German, Spanish, French, etc. But speaking an unknown language that only God can understand.) So that part is a bit confusing to me.

@@jamesvan2201 Paul makes it clear that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are to profit or edify the church gathering. When he states of the gift of speaking in tongues he always accompanies it with interpretation of tongues.
Paul speaks though of another manifestation of speaking in tongues to where an interpreter isn't necessary." He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifies himself"( 1Cor.14:4).
For him to be speaking of us speaking in a private prayer a language native to this world to edify ourselves in private prayer wouldn't make sense.
Paul also said," When i speak in an unknown tongue my spirit prays but my understanding is unfruitful.."( 1Cor.14:14).
This exposes a common misconception that speaking in tongues is a language native to.this world which is untrue. Paul.was fluent in the two languages native to the civilzed world of the day, Hebrew and Greek.
There was no need of supernaturally knowing a language unlearned in that world to spread the gospel.
Speaking in tongues is speaking in one spiritual language. The reason that " tongues" is pluralized is because more than one person was speaking this spiritual language at the same time.
Paul also said that " He that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaks unto God not man for No Man Understands Him, howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries" ( 1Cor.14:2). If no man undersrands it then its not a language native to this world.
I was aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit around me and was filled with the Spirit before i ever recieved the Holy Spirit. That is why John the baptist made such a point of saying that he baptized with water but that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can still work through believers that are filled with the Spirit just had He did through the old testament prophets but neither have recieved the Holy Spirit as a permanently indwelling presence or been born of the Spirit.
The Spirit baptism is to be filled to overflowing.
Once we have prayed fervently for the Lord to fill us with the Holy Spirit, and He does so, we must then surrender the one part of us we can't "tame" or surrender without the Spirits' help and that is our tongue. We do so until the Spirit has joined with our spirit signifies that He has by enabling us to pray verbally in the spirit the language we call " tongues".
Recieving the Holy Spirit is so crucial that rhe Lord gives a supernatural sign to confirm it. Afterward we can pray from our mind, English or from our spirit ," tongues".
That is why many that believe they are saved are not. My heart grieves for the multitudes of confessing christians in the world have not yet completed the process of being born again.
@robertnieten7259 if you are speaking of one "speaking in tongues in front of others" I do not believe everyone receives that gift, as a way to confirm they are baptized in the holy spirit. However, if you are talking about a private tongue that only God understands, that I can understand. One day I was praying fervently, alone in my car and I didn't know what to say. Suddenly I felt this strange feeling as I was compelled to pray without knowing what I was saying. As I prayed, the words I didn't understand kept coming out. They had form, they weren't just random sounds. I felt a warm fuzziness flush over me from my head and down to the rest of my body. I don't know what that was, but I know it wasn't me. I felt passionately about those words though. Even though I didn't know what they meant. I was afraid I did something wrong, after that however because many people claim that that isn't biblical. But I wasn't praying those words to anyone or near anyone. I was alone in my car and it wasn't something I had planned.

Conscienceness can not exist without life and life can not exist without consciousness, this is the image of God as one person with a body that does the work of God, and we are that image, as body, soul and spirit as one person with a name.

You MUST make sure you aren’t trying to preach, to gentiles, a message that was specifically for the Jewish people. Old Testament, before the death 💀 f Christ = Israel/Jews. There is a big difference between the Spirit of God, Jesus Christ that came after the cross, you can not put the holy spirit in the place of The Spirit of God, that is written with a capital letter 🙏 Question, did the holy spirit kill in the new and old testament? Jesus christ did not come to kill but to save sinners. The holy spirit is the gift/ staff arm of power from God, but no a God or the Spirit of Jesus christ. Wrong. The evidence of the Spirit is that you believe Jesus died for you and rose again. If you are a believer and walk after the flesh you will not automatically exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. Even while abiding in Christ the flesh battles against the Spirit.
You do realize people receive the Holy Ghost after belief and not at the moment of belief. There are times it took prayer and the laying on of hands to receive the Holy Ghost.

To each is given a measure of faith according to Christ's gift.
If you want to be immersed in the Spirit then immerse yourself in the Word of God. You can quench the Spirit and may go through seasons of rebellion but once you are a believer and have heard the Truth you are sealed.

Jesus christ said, "believe Me when I say that I am in the father and the father is in Me,,,I and the father is one,,I give them the believers eternal life, they will never perish. The eternal Spirit of life, living water of life, bread of life came after the cross. John the Baptist who had the holy spirit in him from birth is the greatest man born of a woman, yet he who is the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John the Baptist, Question why? Is it that the holy spirit is not God the Spirit of eternal life?

I do not agree that your works are proof of Holy spirit. Because there are nonbelievers that do a better job than some believers in good works. If you believe in Christ's finish work, what he's done for you not what you've done for him then you are a child of God. Everyone still sins its by the blood of Christ Jesus that you will be justified by the Father. The cross (His finished work) was is and will always be enough.
