சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் கோவில் உலக பிரசித்தி பெற்றது. சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் கோவிலுக்கு தற்போது வெளிநாட்டு பக்தர்களின் வருகை அதிகரித்துள்ளது. அமெரிக்கா உள்ளிட்ட வெளிநாடுகளை சேர்ந்த சிவபக்தர்கள் ஒன்றிணைந்து ஆண்டு தோறும் பஞ்சபூத தலங்களுக்கு வந்து சாமி தரிசனம் செய்வது வழக்கம். அன்மையில் ஆகாயத்தலமான சிதம்பரம் நடராஜர் கோவிலுக்கு வருகை தந்தனர். ஏராளமான வெளிநாட்டு பெண்கள் தமிழக பெண்கள் போன்று தலைவாரி பின்னலிட்டு பூக்கள் சூடி வந்தனர். நடராஜர் கோவிலில் நடந்த ருத்ர யாகத்தில் வெளிநாட்டு பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். வெளிநாட்டு பக்தர்கள் நமது பாரம்பரிய உடையான வேட்டி மற்றும் பட்டு சேலை அணிந்து நெற்றியில் திருநீர் பூசி காட்சியளித்தனர். இதனை கண்ட உள்ளூர் பக்தர்கள் வியப்பின் எல்லைக்கு சென்று அவர்களுடன் செல்ஃபி எடுத்து மகிழ்ந்தனர்.
