  • This is the first run in the frame running on his own fuel tank. The engine was a Mitsui-Deutz BF5L913. I added the intercooler package and created a BF5L913C. It is full automotive spec with RQV governor, aneroid device, centrifugal advance in pump drive gear, power steering pump, air compressor, air starter, and a 14" clutch. The first transmission is an Eaton FS5306A 6 speed. The auxiliary is a Spicer 6041 4 speed. The rear is a W320S (R57) with 4.10:1 gear and a no-spin unit. He holds 100 gallons of fuel and will have a Webasto cab heater. The cab will be 1956 F800. The tires will be 11R-22.5 on aluminums.

Very nice Clarke! You definitely do very nice clean work. You couldnt ask for a sweeter sounding engine. I love it!

    Can't believe no comments...
Wow, that is some set up, cool enough with the turbo Deutz but an air starter and suspension to boot.
    Very cool!!
