Story of Gorr is not just a comic story
This is a religious epic itself 🔥🔥🔥
It gets deeper when taking into account Knull’s introduction. Gorr was basically Knull’s true disciple without even knowing it. Just imagine if Gorr stuck around long enough when he got the necro sword, Knull was right there. Knull probably would have enjoyed the irony of a mortal with a hatred for gods that arguably would have aligned with his goals perfectly.
“You should have brought more Thors.” Damn, Dude delivered that line! Better that any of the MCU movies, great voice acting, music… mad professional. Y’all took an epic story and made it magic. Well done.

This is a legitimate masterpiece.
The story is almost the tale of the blackness and nihilism of modern man.
We can learn a lot from these myths, stories, comics - call them as you like, but they are all learning devices for us.
I get chills everytime when Thor is absorbing the godbomb.
I think one of my favorite parts of this was Gorr’s assertion that Thor’s win was totally pulled out of his ass. It reminded me of the story of Utgard-Loki in which Thor and Loki were humiliated and down right trolled with illusions by a massive frost Giant but Thor was so dang powerful he almost destroyed the world. Wether it’s trying to pick up a cat that’s actually the Midgard serpent, or drinking an entire mead horn connected to the world’s ocean, it is definitely impossible to accomplish. However, being able to lift a paw and lowering the world’s water level by several feet proved just how op Thor is.

Honestly, the God Butcher and God Bomb storylines had the potential to define a new universal threat and would've allowed Thor to truly ascend to his peak again like he did with Infinity War. And considering he was basically the only Avenger left that could tackle such a threat, it would have been his personal Endgame moment. It would take a lot of setup, of course, but it would have been one of the greatest achievements in a post Blip Marvel universe.
And in reading up on this before Love and Thunder, I was stoked beyond belief, especially with Christian Bale in the role. I was counting on basically a horror movie, slasher villain and all, neatly wrapped up in Marvel trimmings.
It sucks that it wasn't just a fumble, or a dropping of the ball, but instead they tied the ball to an anvil, and threw it off the highest point in the world. And the weight of said flop broke through the lowest possible bar and plunged into a self made grave.
"Thor, are you god of hammers?!"
"Perhaps, today I am."
Jokes aside, I can't even begin to describe how immense this series was, how much love you showed for storytelling in this video.

The Deep Purple when the 3 Thors meet is epic. Such a great job on this. From the voice actors to the background music, this is one of the best motion comics I have ever seen.
I just finished watching this, I started yesterday (27 May, 22) with the God butcher issue and now this (the God bomb), and I can honestly tell you this; the effort of this team to bring the comics to life and perfectly execute it blows my mind. The background music, the sound details of every scene, the voice acting, and the narration makes this a masterpiece.
the mere fact that this team isn't known for their amazing works is quite hard to grasp. I hope Marvel giants like Kevin Feige sees this one day. TO RUSSIAN COMICBOOK GEEK AND HIS TEAM; You guys are amazing!!!

All the voice actors did a fantastic job, though I kind of imagined Gorr having a different voice depending on If he was normal or in his god butcher state.
I don't like how they've made him look in the upcoming movie, just a terrible look, imo. He looks like Gorr the alien high priestess, I mean priest.

In a day where screens have changed everything… you have made it feel like I came out of the comic book stores of my youth. That excitement to turn page after page. The smell of the ink. I can almost feel that when I bring up your adaptations. Thanks for reminding me of things that I had forgotten.

they are going to destroy the timline of events. Jane Foster became god of thunder after Thor becoming unworthy and Thor becoming unworthy had something to with what happend in this story and a whisper in his ear, if i remember correct (enough said, i don`t want to spoiler the comics to much in the case this genius of a creator will do them in the future). I still ask myself how the hell will they bring all of this in one movie without ignoring the original story and timeline of events.
We can only have a valid opinion after seeing it, until then anything else is pure speculation.

As a comic collector one of my biggest regrets is not having completed this Thor series. I was only able to get a hold of issues 1 & 2 and the paperback is always out of stock in online stores and in local book stores here in my country, I had to finish it in online comic website where you can read comics for free.
The dub is fantastic and the production is great.

It's obvious Gorr's voice was inspired by Venom's voice from the first movie, but a more ruthless one. It's a clever move from the creative team considering the fact the Gorr gets his power from Knull, the very being that created the venom symbiotes and the necro-sword used by Gorr, that which gives him his power.
The voice actor for Gorr was actually an ex metal singer
