The fact that your investing is better then not regardless of the frequency…if you could increase the frequency that would increase the odds of capturing the swing highs and lows in the market…reduce the amount you contribute and increase the frequency…if you can contribute weekly that would be better IMO…so if you invest 6000 every 6 months, I would do 250 weekly

Weekly or bi weekly. Otherwise you miss the cheaper prices that happen during the year. Example you would have missed a chunk of the 2020 lows.
