Gisborne City Vintage Railway (New Zealand) has one of these; the model without the automatic downfeed. There is a powered downfeed, but not automated like on your model. There is a leaky seal, and the top gearbox oil runs out down the quill. Can you help us with how to access the leaky seal to fix it? We need the service manual. We have the Operator Manual which has diagrams of the exploded shafts, which is not all that helpful. Can you help with how to proceed? How to remove the quill would be a good start.
This has to be the best production equipment on earth. I stand humbled in its design, function and longevity!
