    I got this kit a while back only recently put it together, gonna go with the BATAS camo scheme for mine, also building the tamiya challenger 1 kit as well but with some photo etched parts

    You deserve a lot more subs than you have, your work is incredible. Just picked the kit up myself and I’m looking forward to building it

      You should check out people like Martin kovac on UA-cam or some of David parker's work.
      if you think what was in this video is incredible your world view will be shattered.
      The model here is thrown together and is sloppy without any care

    Just built the Tamiya Chieftain, only difference now is that they have the one piece track instead of the individual links. Aside from that, it was a delight to build! I finished in mine in NATO green and NATO black. Yours looks great!

    Really nice job my good sir, i just got the model kit and it's my first kit, so im watching vids to see what the process is and i would like to ask you if you have tips for a beginner like me and also what colours did you use for the hull and turret?

    • @105thArmoury
      @105thArmoury  6 років тому +4

      Hi its great to see someone new getting into modelling of military vehicles :D as for advice for this kit? um i would recommend adding the drive wheels and swing arms after you have painted the hull that way its easier to paint them other then that its a pretty strait forward kit and as long as you follow the instructions it should go together quite easy, as for the colours i used, they would be tamiya XF69 nato black and XF67 nato green. hope this helps

    Hi. Nice work. Did you use stretched gauss bandage method for the camo netting? proprietary product? if not how? Thanks in advance.

    • @105thArmoury
      @105thArmoury  5 років тому

      Hi i used the 1/35 JGSDF TYPE 10 CAMOUFLAGE NET from Tetra model works, they are a die cut 4 piece camo net

    Dude nice build! Your channel isn't that super underrated, although you need to buy more and build more, because your model kit building is more relaxing even without music. Keep it going, can you build a T-72 in 1/35 scale?

    • @105thArmoury
      @105thArmoury  4 роки тому

      thanks :D a T-72 and a T-90 are in my list, iv been working on a personal project for a while so once thats finished ill start recording again.

    whats that thing you wrapped the gun with? how did you do that?

    • @105thArmoury
      @105thArmoury  4 роки тому +2

      Its a 1/35 JGSDF type 10 camouflage net by tetra model works, as for attaching it, i basically folded the net in half then wrapped it around the barrel diagonally and stuck it in place using super glue.
      After that i used the 1/35 straps that come with the net and ties them around the barrel to give the illusion that it is strapped onto the barrel

    How long did you do this in real time? (Building)
    Im also planning to do this after building the centurion :)

    • @105thArmoury
      @105thArmoury  4 роки тому

      it took me about 3 days, mainly because of the paint drying time, i built it during winter so took longer then normal for the paint to dry, this could easily be built in a day or 2
